I had an incredibly helpful consultation with Dr Henderson last month. He was caring, empathetic, and very reassuring throughout the appointment. He took the time to explain things in depth, clearly outlining the relevant facts and the different options available to me. Being diagnosed with breast cancer at 38 with a very young family to care for and who need me, has been one of the most challenging journeys of my life. Dr Henderson has helped make this journey as manageable as possible through his professionalism and the sharing of his skill and knowledge which have filled me with confidence and trust in his care. I received my breast cancer diagnosis in January 2023, obviously the diagnosis was unexpected together with the long treatment plan of a lumpectomy, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and 12 months of Herceptin, from the moment I was introduced to Dr Henderson I felt completely at ease and reassured that I would have the best possible care. I saw Dr Henderson on a regular basis however any concerns in between meetings were dealt with immediately.

He will listen to the patient's concerns, explains all the various steps of treatment in simple terms and will make sure all questions are answered before the end of the consultation. He is up-to-date on the latest treatments and I feel I am getting the best care.

Dr Henderson operates with a fantastic balance of medical expertise and human empathy. I’ve felt well informed, supported and cared for from our very first meeting. Communication is easy and I’m always able to ask any questions and get clear answers quickly. When you’re going through cancer treatment, you just need to feel that you can trust your consultant in providing the best possible treatment and care to get you better and I’ve always had complete trust in Dr Henderson.
