A Life-Changing Experience – Thank You, ADT My wife is 62 years old and has battled alcoholism for 27 years. She had been to rehab three times before, but this time was different. After losing her mother – her last remaining close relative – she turned to alcohol once again, retreating from the world in her grief. As a family, we were at breaking point. In a desperate effort to keep a promise to her late mother, I kept her at home until the funeral so she could attend sober. It was one of the hardest challenges I’ve ever faced, but I managed it. Sadly, after the funeral, the drinking returned and we lost her to the bottle once more. When a small inheritance came through, I decided to try again. I searched the internet and found ADT. From the very first conversation, they understood exactly what we were going through. They acted quickly, knowing how critical timing is — when an addict asks for help, you must act immediately before the addiction takes over again. ADT found a place at The Recovery Lighthouse in Worthing and handled everything with care, compassion, and urgency. Addiction is not just the addict’s disease — it affects the whole family. ADT supported all of us, not just my wife. It’s now been four months, and I see a change in her I have never seen before. She is beginning to embrace sobriety in a genuine, lasting way. She speaks openly when she feels low or has a difficult day, instead of turning to the bottle. That openness has been life-changing for the whole family. I will always be grateful to ADT for their understanding, dedication, and wisdom. They didn’t just help my wife — they helped give our family hope again.

Rather than do a review soon after joining I thought I’d leave it for a while to give it more weight. It’s now a little over 4 months since I joined. The naysayers will comment on the fact that it’s all online and the cost, but the NHS just isn’t an option for most of us (unless you’re amazingly patient) so, if you’re fortunate enough to be able to afford it, Eden is most definitely a good choice. As for all sessions being carried our via Google Meet it has felt no less personal and has actually been very convenient. Each of the staff that I have spoken with have been both lovely and, at the same time, professional. They’re very thorough at each stage especially when checking if loss of fertility is an issue to you. Just tell them everything. At each stage you receive email notifications when they’re ready for you to book your next session and the longest I’ve had to wait for any session has been 7/10 days. The response times to email enquiries has been no less impressive with a reply, in working hours, coming within a couple of hours at most – and the replies are always friendly and helpful. If your GP won’t help with blood tests then the service offered by Eden is well worth the money – convenient and super-efficient, no potential delays waiting for the GP to send the results through. I’m just about to start my next 3 month supply of HRT – onwards and upwards.

Absolutely exceptional treatment received at the Lindo Wing. The care received throughout was personal and attentive but special thanks goes to the senior midwife and specialist nurse who looked after me for 48 hours post c-section for their dedicated care and rehabilitation. Also the theatre team and anaesthetist team were exceptional and made the whole experience so calm for a very nervous mum and dad. All the teams took the very greatest care of me and baby. The support given on how to care for your baby was invaluable to first time parents and the nursery was incredible to get some good sleep to get recovery going quickly. It set us up for a successful transition back home as we had been shown properly how to care for him. The support for breastfeeding was incredible and my breastfeeding journey has been smooth. Food was great too and all facilities were exceptionally clean. Worth every single penny to give birth here.

Thus week i had both s dental check up and a hygienist appointment. In both appointments they asked the same questions ie how often do you brush, do you use an electric toothbrush, do i use tipi what colour… do i drink. Smoke etc both did a gum assessment. There should be joined up notes between dentist and hygienists. For the hygienist appointment it was really messy with water and polish all over my face and clothes. I have been to other hygienists in other dentists at the same cost and this does not happen. It felt like the tools she was using were dated and not very effective. My teeth don’t look any different as a result of spending £70 for a 15 minute appointment with your hygienist. I would like a refund for this poor service. Kind regards Nicola

I was seen by Mr Brown following problems with walking and also lower back pain and posture issues. I quickly had an MRI scan followed by a review from Mr Brown to explain the findings. I underwent decompression surgery and I can honestly say I now have no back pain, I was able to walk 50m + within 14 days following surgery, my posture has improved and then managed a 4km walk within a couple of months following my surgery, I would certainly recommend friends and family to see Mr Brown in one of his private clinics at the Spire or Nuffield in Cambridge.

The visit and time with Mr Rao has been great. He's very welcoming and helpful. What has let the experience down is the communication and wait from the Oaks hospital. My initial appt with Mr Rao at the Oaks was on the 1st July and I was given a 6 to 8 week wait time expectation for a procedure. I didn't hear anything by mid August, so chased, to be told they will be in touch when they have a date, but probably some time in October.

I had an object in my eye that I had no luck getting treated at my GP, specsavers.. etc. I called 111 and was told to wait around and see if it came out on its own or go to Western Eye Hospital, which wasn't an option for me given my working hours. I finally found Dr. Kasmiya's details online and got an appointment with him the next day and the problem was resolved in that same visit for an affordable price.

The experience was excellent with all the staff from caterers, reception nurses and doctors with all the staff being friendly efficient and professional. My only criticism are the chairs in the day centre while you are waiting for your operation as after 2 hrs they're so uncomfortable and by 6hrs it was awful but this is easily rectified

The staff were very friendly, especially the doctor performing the procedure and made me feel as comfortable as possible and spoke to me the whole time to make me feel at ease. The post op nurse was also lovely and spoke through everything with me regarding results and made sure I understood everything before going home.
