I came to Emilie’s clinic to prepare for surgery and to get help with some ongoing gut health issues. Thanks to her support and guidance, my recovery went really smoothly. She also adjusted her recommendations afterwards to make sure I stayed on track. During the treatment, I ended up with some unrelated muscular discomfort, and Emilie was kind enough to in one of our sessions, offer advice that helped ease that too. One of the biggest things I’ve taken away from working with her is discovering the low FODMAP approach. It’s made a huge difference to my gut health, and the recipes she shared are now household favourites, they’re simple, tasty, and everyone enjoys them. Emilie is incredibly easy to talk to and I always felt comfortable during our sessions. I was a client that completed 3 months stay - I found AbbeyCare amazing . The place was always very well cleaned and kept to a high standard by the housekeeping team - The staff were amazing and provided a program by the therapist team that is amazing to carry on living it on the outside of rehabilitation. It was tough! At times but it’s part of the journey and they could not have supported me any further than what they did. Kirsty my keywork was absolutely amazing to work with and was on the ball with everything , the medical team were great and helped a lot . Dougie the general manager was an amazing guy to all of us and did a great job . Billy was the biggest help in getting me in so fast and sold the place from the get go with me. I’d honestly be here all day giving every staff member individual shout outs they were all amazing.

Mr Abou-Chedid is an exceptional medical professional. His handling of my prostatectomy procedure was outstanding. Firstly, his initial explanations as to what was involved were clear and helpful. Secondly, due to the high quality of his surgery my recovery post-op was trouble free—in a very short space of time I was continent and able to resume many of my everyday activities with confidence. Thirdly, his 8 week follow-up consultation was extremely helpful in allowing me to understand the extent of my cancer and the possible further steps that lie ahead for me. At every stage I have been in the best possible hands. I feel extremely lucky to have been in Mr Abou-Chedid’s care.

I came to Tanvi about a month ago with wisdom tooth pain and Tanvi suggested to have them out before I spend a few months away from the UK. We got booked in and I was slightly nervous but Tanvi explained the whole process in how the sedation would go, to put my mind at ease and come to the appointment understanding what was going to happen. When my sedation date came, I walked into the dentist I was greeted by Tanvi and calmly started the process to remove my 2 teeth. Very quick process and happy with how it has all turned out. Currently a week into recovery and feeling good and happy with the experience.

My medical problem is quite complex and part of it a rare occurrence. Mr Reese is very understanding although rectification completely of my medical problem is going to require a team effort. He is very good at listening and very kindly complied when I asked him if he would mind reading some of my research on the medical problem that I have, which he did and that allowed us to explore possibilities which could possibly be helpful in the future. Understanding a patients concern is part of the path to obtaining the medical results you require. I would not hesitate to recommend him, in fact I already have.

I could not have asked for a better experience: Dr Seward and his team were extremely helpful - friendly, confident and professional - to make sure I feel calm and comfortable with the procedure and the preparation. Dr Seward's prep and explanations during the treatment were both easy to understand and sufficiently thorough so I felt very much involved in the process and now I feel much better equipped / knowledgeable to monitor my situation going forward. Overall I am very happy that I had Dr Seward as my consultant and will come back for further checks as advised.

This is my second year for breast cancer annual review, so I now know that it will be a long afternoon, moving to and from the waiting room to the consultants room and for different scans. The overall appointment may be lengthy, but having the opportunity to have all the necessary scans and consultations conducted in one afternoon, reduces the number of appointments and waiting time for results which would prolong any worry. I praise Miss Deol, the nurses, radiologist, radiographers for managing a very hectic schedule of patients and scans.

The hospital staff were all very friendly and helpful from receptionists, porters, catering and nursing to pysios and surgeons. I felt well looked after. The hospital is spotless and comfortable. I was invited to a patient feedback meeting which was interesting and we were told about several aspects of the hospital. It was good to meet other patients who had also had very good experiences there.

My consultation with Prof Rick Steeds was informative and reassuring. Prof Steeds is clearly extremely knowledgeable and at the top of his field, but he is also very human and thoughtful - which I believe elevates the entire experience. The waiting area facilities and decor was pleasant. I particularly liked some of the large linear abstract paintings and the modern globe chandeliers.

Overall I found my experience to be generally very good with all staff who I came in contact with to.be caring and helpful. The only blot on the landscape was a rather abrupt humourless lady from.the sub - continent that I had dealings with just before my procedure. This was the only blemish, hence my score of 4/5 earlier in the questionnaire.

The only thing that I wasn’t happy about was when I arrived at the hospital I was let in the room for 6 hours until I was taken to the theatre with out anyone coming and explaining what the delay was I was oppoligsed to but the point was no one kept me informed
