Fantastic put my mind at rest about unusual congenital eye structure which I had been referred with.
Outstanding patient care. Everything was explained thoroughly and I was made to feel at ease regarding my operation. Thank you so much for your care and attention.
On my first visit I was very nervous as I do not like having my eyes examined but Professor Lindfield was so understanding my recent visit was much more relaxed.

YAG Laser Capsulotomy is a short (2 minute), painless procedure to remove the cloudy cells that can accumulate behind lens implants. Lost that “wow” after your cataract surgery? Results fading? More glare than there used to be? It’s likely you’re developing / have developed some clouding behind your lens implant. It’s very common occurring in up to 50% of eyes after cataract surgery. Called PCO (Posterior Capsular Opacification) these cloudy cells can occur within a few months of surgery but often it’s 1-10 years later. When they become significant enough to hold back your vision we consider removing them. The treatment is short, painless and has a very low risk profile. Click above for more details:
