Dr John Philip O'Dwyer is consistently praised for his professional, thorough, knowledgeable, kind, patient, and reassuring patient interactions. He performs detailed examinations, offering clear explanations for neurological conditions, diagnoses, and treatment options. Many patients report feeling listened to, at ease, and confident with their care plan, especially for migraine and seizures. The positive feedback frequently highlights his effective management of head pain conditions and comprehensive assessment of sensation abnormalities.
Dr O'Dwyer took the time to listen to my concerns and he was very reassuring throughout the examination. He thoroughly explained all the options available to me and I would highly recommend seeing him.
Dr O’Dwyer is an outstanding neurologist who combines exceptional expertise with a warm, approachable manner. He has a remarkable ability to ask the right questions without making you feel uncomfortable, quickly putting you at ease and creating an open, relaxed conversation. He is an excellent listener, non-judgemental, and takes the time to understand the full picture. His knowledge is clearly extensive, but he shares it in a way that adds depth and understanding without making the discussion feel overly technical or medical. I particularly appreciated how he included my wife in the conversation, ensuring we both felt listened to and involved throughout. We left feeling informed, reassured and genuinely cared for. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Dr O’Dwyer.
I was quite nervous about the appointment but Dr O’Dwyer put me at ease really quickly. He was very thorough and explained everything really clearly so I came away from the appointment with a clear understanding, relief from my diagnosis and a plan moving forward.
Dr O’Dwyer was charming and professional. He was thorough and extremely generous with his time. After two years of pain and anxiety for my son, we came away feeling someone had listened, heard, had a plan- and that there is hope for my son to be pain free. Thank you so much.
Very thorough and comprehensive consultation. Clear, warm and considerate.
Dr O Dwyer was attentive, explained everything with ease and very knowledgeable on the subject matter. He answered all questions and left me with hope which I was not expecting.
Dr O'Dwyer was very kind, patient and understanding. He took the time to listen and understand, clearly explained everything and was reassuring at every step. His knowledge and confidence came across strongly, felt I was in the right hands with my situation. What stuck with me was his understanding of how disabling my condition was and how that was affecting multiple areas in my life.
Dr O Dwyer was helpful and explained everything very clearly. He was on time with my appointment. Examined me to see if symptoms had worsened. And was thorough and not in a rush.
Excellent consultation. We were given plenty of time, clear explanations, and reassurance throughout the appointment.
