About Farnham Eye Care
We provide state of the art diagnostic services from our grade 2 listed bulidng in the heart of Farnham. Welcome to our friendly, local clinic with ample private parking and a homely feel whilst offering the very latest diagnostic capablities and world class Ophthalmic care.
Our founder, Mr Dan Lindfield is a Consultant Ophthalmologist. He has twice been named amongst the top 50 and 100 Ophthalmologists world wide and is a regular speaker around the world on the latest developments in Cataract and Glaucoma. He is Head of School for trainee Ophthalmologists for Health Education England; Kent, Surrey & Sussex and holds an NHS position for training, cataract and glaucoma care at Royal Surrey in Guildford.
Farnham Eye Care is partnered with Spire Clare Park for cataract surgery, glaucoma procedures, YAG laser and SLT laser. We offer all the latest advancements in intraocular lens design and tailor all treatment so that it's bespoke to you.

I visited the Farnham Eye Care Centre in order to book cataract surgery The staff were professional and understanding at all I underwent a stream of tests to establish the exact position of my eyes, before a consultation with Professor Dan Lindfield. He agreed to carry out surgery to correct my eyesight,
Staff were really helpful. Although I was anxious they were very reassuring and Dan Lindfield made the cataract operation comfortable and extremely successful.
Professor Dan Lindfield and his team were all very professional and did everything they could to make my treatment as stress free as possible. Treatment was arranged quickly and was painless. Results are excellent. My sincere thanks to all the team.
All my experiences were excellent. I received cataract surgery in October 2025 and February 2026. The outcome for both has been totally successful. I have had the Galaxy multi-focal lens in both eyes so now need neither reading nor distance glasses. Everything about Farnham Eye Care practice is extremely professional and friendly and attention to any small problems is exemplary. I can fully recommend Professor Lindfield as a highly skilled surgeon with a very pleasant manner.
The team were very friendly - clearly explaining the process and the results. They provided great reassurance on any concerns that I did have.
Easy to find and park. Minimal waiting time, if any. Friendly team. I get the full works twice a year and today was normal. Scans and tests and great interaction with Dan re my eyes....
