About Farnham Eye Care
We provide state of the art diagnostic services from our grade 2 listed bulidng in the heart of Farnham. Welcome to our friendly, local clinic with ample private parking and a homely feel whilst offering the very latest diagnostic capablities and world class Ophthalmic care.
Our founder, Mr Dan Lindfield is a Consultant Ophthalmologist. He has twice been named amongst the top 50 and 100 Ophthalmologists world wide and is a regular speaker around the world on the latest developments in Cataract and Glaucoma. He is Head of School for trainee Ophthalmologists for Health Education England; Kent, Surrey & Sussex and holds an NHS position for training, cataract and glaucoma care at Royal Surrey in Guildford.
Farnham Eye Care is partnered with Spire Clare Park for cataract surgery, glaucoma procedures, YAG laser and SLT laser. We offer all the latest advancements in intraocular lens design and tailor all treatment so that it's bespoke to you.

Prof Dan Lindfield performed on 5.1.2026 a bilateral cataract operation including his recommendation which lenses to be used. The post op consultation on 2.2.2026 showed the following: My vision for all distances showed perfect results without the need for wearing glasses. Driving at night has improved substantially.
