Chase Lodge Hospital

I had a mixed experience at Chase Lodge. The doctor, MRI staff, and one of the receptionists were excellent - kind, caring, efficient, and professional. If it weren’t for one member of the reception team, this would have been a 5-star review. Before attending, BUPA confirmed that I was covered for an initial consultation with X doctor, an MRI, and a follow-up appointment. When I called Chase Lodge to book, I explained exactly what BUPA had authorised and requested an appointment with that doctor. I was told I could come in immediately without needing to book, which was very convenient. When I arrived, I was given a wheelchair and was registering at reception with a lovely receptionist. During this time, another receptionist, Alina, was on the phone with what I assume was another patient. She was arguing about payment in a manner that came across as rude, dismissive, and lacking empathy. Given that patients are often anxious or unwell, it was uncomfortable to witness. My consultation and MRI themselves were excellent. The doctor and clinical staff were compassionate, attentive, and worked very efficiently. They made what was a painful experience much easier, and I am genuinely grateful to them. After my MRI, I was helped back into my elderly father’s car. He went inside to book my follow-up appointment, where he was unexpectedly told that we needed to pay £99 for the initial consultation. First time at Chase lodge. Small hospital, quick wait to be seen, friendly staff and efficient. Go early so you can find a spot to park.

Emergency visit yesterday afternoon. Quoted £99 on telephone. Bill came to £199 plus prescription charges. On enquiry, I was told - POC CRP test which is finger tip test for infection lasting one second, £45, small plaster for wound, £55. Below is invoice: Adult Urgent Care Dr's Consultation 14/03/2026 £99.00 POC CRP 14/03/2026 1 45.00 £45.00 Small Dressing 14/03/2026 1 55.00 £55.00 I said I would pay £99 as quoted. Receptionist said they would sue for the rest. Extortion or what? I would like the owners to reach out with an explanation.

I went to the Urgent Care Centre at Chase Lodge Hospital, Mill Hill London on Saturday Nov. 29th 2025. I was seen immediately by an outstanding Urgent Care MD, Dr. Jalal Moradzadeh. He listened, he checked me thoroughly, ordered the required tests, sent me for Chest-Xray (done on site), while spending the time explaining it all. At the end, he diagnosed with bacterial pneumonia and bilateral conjunctivitis, prescribed the appropriate treatment which was started on-site (pharmacy on site). The following day, a Sunday, he arranged for me a Chest-CT and an appointment with respiratory physician specialist for the following Monday. The whole team, each and everyone, the receptionists, the nurse, the Xray person and the pharmacist were all helpful, efficient and professional. They all played a role in my speedy recovery. I returned to the Centre on Saturday Jan. 17th and was seen again by Dr. Dr. Jalal Moradzadeh on a related issue and again encountered, professionalism, efficiency all with a smile.

We visited on a sunday and waited no more than 10 minutes. The doctor was absolutely incredible with my 2 year old and very thorough. He prescribed the medication and it was made up there and then. What an absolutely fantastic place. Highly recommend.
