About Miss Heena Mehra
Miss Heena Mehra is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 20 years of experience in the field. She has been serving at University Hospital Lewisham since 2021, where she brings a wealth of expertise to the women she treats.
Miss Mehra completed her medical education in India, graduating in 2004. She furthered her training with a postgraduate qualification in Master of Surgery (MS) before moving to the UK, where she obtained Membership with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2015. Her advanced training includes a specialisation in early pregnancy ultrasound scanning and the management of acute gynaecological conditions, which she completed at King's College London.
At University Hospital Lewisham, Miss Mehra leads several specialist clinics. These include early pregnancy assessments, fertility investigations such as tubal patency clinics (Hycosy), one-stop diagnostic gynaecology services, and outpatient hysteroscopy clinics.
