Mr Reza Moosavi is an ophthalmic consultant based in Windsor, Bracknell and Reading. He has specialised in ophthalmic surgery for over 15 years and is the Lead Clinician for the Glaucoma service at Prince Charles Eye Unit in Windsor.

Mr Moosavi typically sees patients with suspected and confirmed glaucoma, eyelid cysts and cataracts. He has a specialist interest in cataract and glaucoma surgery, glaucoma management and eyelid cyst removal. He provides excellent care to his patients using his expertise in ophthalmology.

Mr Moosavi received his medical degree from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in London. He then completed the South Thames surgical training in ophthalmology. During his training he worked at St Thomas' Hospital as the Medical Eye Unit Registrar and at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery as the Neuro-ophthalmology fellow.

During his clinical training, he carried out academic research in the Glaucoma Research Unit at Moorfields Eye Hospital and the Institute of Ophthalmology.

He gained high-calibre experience in the surgical and medical management of glaucoma and complex cataract surgery from undertaking two fellowships following his training.

Outside of the hospital, Mr Moosavi has published in several peer reviewed journals and presents his work at national and international conferences. Additionally, he currently teaches, trains and assesses medical, nursing and allied health professional staff in his NHS service.
