Miss Shreya Haldar is a dedicated Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon, known for her expertise in the treatment and management of glaucoma and complex cataracts. She holds clinical positions at the Royal Berkshire Hospital and the King Edward VII Hospital in Windsor, where she provides specialised eye care services.

Miss Haldar completed her medical degree at Imperial College London medical school. She also earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Management from the esteemed Imperial College Business School. She holds membership in the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and is a fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (FRCOphth), showing her commitment to professional excellence.

Her medical and surgical training took place within the Imperial College rotation, where she completed the higher medical specialist exams. Subsequently, she specialised in ophthalmology and underwent specialist ophthalmic surgical training within the Oxford deanery. During this period, Miss Haldar had the privilege of learning from pioneers in modern cataract surgery and furthered her expertise through a sub-specialist fellowship in glaucoma.

Miss Haldar's expertise covers various aspects of glaucoma management, including traditional glaucoma surgeries such as trabeculectomy and aqueous shunt surgery. She is also using innovative laser and minimally invasive glaucoma surgical techniques, offering her patients the latest advancements in eye care.

Passionate about teaching, Miss Haldar actively contributes to the education and mentorship of young ophthalmologists. She serves as both an educational and clinical supervisor and engages in lecturing to Surgical Sciences MSc and BSc students at King’s College London.
