I fell down a couple of stairs and after almost a year of pain, repeat sprains and a long wait list with NHS for further investigation I booked an appointment with Andrew and I was so glad that I did. He listened to my symptoms and booked an MRI the following day. The results confirmed Andrews initial thoughts from review a complete ligament tear on the outer ankle and partial tear on the inner ankle. It was a relief to finally understand what was causing such extreme pain in normal every day activities and I was booked in for ankle reconstruction surgery within a few weeks. I am now almost 6 months on and Andrew has given me my life back. To wake pain free and be able to walk without pain and swelling as well as now being able get back into exercise has been just fantastic. The whole process was explained with professionalism and care and I cannot thank Andrew and the physio enough. Highly recommend anyone who is struggling with pain to book an appointment with Andrew.

After trying to get my varicose veins sorted for years, (and unfortunately them getting worse over those years) I finally decided to get treatment from UK Vein Clinic in Manchester. I have had both legs treated using both ablation and foam therapy. The whole process was fantastic. I was treated so kindly by my Dr and the lovely nurses. They explained everything and took great care of me, ensuring I was comfortable. The process was very quick and I felt little discomfort. I was informed of everything happening and lots of aftercare tips. I am so glad that I chose UK Vein Clinic for treatment, their care has been fantastic right from booking a consultation to now, just after treatment. I have recently had two procedures within two months, plus outpatient appointments. All members of staff, from receptionist to nursing staff to consultants, were extremely polite, and nothing was too much trouble. I have had two separate consultants, and they were extremely knowledgeable and put me at ease, as I was quite nervous. Their secretaries were very friendly each time I rang through, and nothing was too much trouble. The outpatient department is very modern and spotless. I was very impressed and grateful that so many different eye examinations were performed on me. The in patient department is also spotless, and my meal after my operation was delicious!

Experience OK but to have to travel 80 mile round trip with 24 hrs notice was stressful, for the pre-accessment which I had to ask for, as not arranged. If I had been told on the information letter that if I was taking antibiotics I would need to have 4 weeks clear before I could have my procedure, this would have prevented me from excepting the procedure date I had been given. Therefore would have given the date to someone else. I had two weeks notice of my procedure which is OK if all information had been given to me. Find the administration side lacking. Lovely staff. .
