I recently underwent a surgical procedure under local anaesthetic at Weymouth Street Hospital, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. From my very first interaction with the bookings team through to my admission, surgery, and discharge, everything was exceptionally well organised and ran seamlessly. Every member of staff I encountered was kind, professional, and genuinely caring, making me feel comfortable and well looked after at every stage. The procedure itself went incredibly smoothly. Having it performed under local anaesthetic was much easier than I had anticipated and saved me the time and recovery associated with having a general anaesthetic. As I was awake throughout the procedure, my surgeon was absolutely wonderful, taking the time to explain each step as it happened and letting me know exactly what to expect. The entire clinical team were equally fantastic, always ensuring I was comfortable before, during, and after the procedure. The discharge process was efficient and well organised, with clear aftercare instructions and plenty of opportunity to ask any questions. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to everyone involved - from the bookings team and reception staff to the nurses, my surgeon and his team, and everyone working behind the scenes. Your professionalism, kindness, expertise, and dedication made what could have been a daunting experience feel straightforward, comfortable, and reassuring. I would also highly recommend Weymouth Street Hospital itself. It has the feel of a beautiful boutique hotel rather than a traditional hospital, creating a calm, welcoming, and relaxing environment from the moment you arrive. I had my initial consultation with Mr Satish on the 29th June. During the consultation, Mr Satish was friendly and professional and I immediately felt at ease. He listened attentively and explained everything clearly to me including findings and next steps. I subsequently had an MRI scan and Mr Satish contacted me promptly with the results. The scan unfortunately confirmed that I would need surgery but Mr Satish took the time to thoroughly explain the results, what the procedure would involve, and what recovery and rehab would look like post surgery. He answered every question I had with patience, clarity and honesty, ensuring I felt fully informed and reassured. I have the upmost trust and confidence in Mr Satish. His expertise, professionalism and compassionate approach have made what could have been a much more nerve-wracking experience easier to face. Knowing that he is my surgeon gives me more confidence going into surgery and I genuinely wouldn’t want anyone else. I cannot recommend him enough.

I cannot speak highly enough of the procedure itself and everything to do with the pre and post treatment appointments. The procedure was successful and recovery fairly quick as indeed Tev had predicted. Whilst I still need to get up 2-3 times a night, it is huge improvement on the 5-6 times in recent years and the flow is back to normal. Day time frequency is far less to and the urgency that I endure in recent years has gone. Owing to the enlarged prostate, erectile dysfunction is unfortunately still something of an issue but again that was expected in line with the pre-procedure statistics provided. I am so grateful to Tev and his team!!

Josh was excellent, giving me exercises for my weak legs that were possible to achieve during the day. He also treated the pain in my hip joint that is now non existent. Appointment for a filling as part of an agreed treatment plan. Very pleasant and courteous staff on arrival. Offer of refreshments during wait. I have a dislike of injections however it’s never been a problem here as it’s done without fuss and before you realise! For me, it’s been worth it to change to this practice. Thumbs up.

Overall, I had a very good experience with the staff. The only downside was that the clinic is not very accessible. I was with a stroller, and the receptionists and the doctor had to help me carry it down the stairs because there wasn’t an accessible way to get around.
