From initial contact, Dr Sujay Chandran demonstrated prompt responsiveness, sound clinical judgement, and a proactive approach. He provided clear, appropriate advice at an early stage and actively guided the decision-making process, ensuring that my mother’s safety and wellbeing remained the priority at all times. Recognising the clinical urgency, Dr Sujay Chandran took steps to expedite her assessment, ensuring investigations were performed and reviewed without unnecessary delay. He reviewed the echocardiogram and ECG promptly and conducted a thorough clinical consultation immediately thereafter. His explanation of the findings was clear and precise, and his diagnosis and management plan were well considered and evidence-based. Dr Chandran demonstrated excellent communication skills and engaged in shared decision-making, taking into account my mother’s preferences and her ability to comply with treatment. His recommendations regarding medication optimisation, diuretic therapy, and onward referral were balanced, appropriate, and clearly explained. Notably, Dr Chandran provided ongoing follow-up after the consultation, checking on my mother’s condition and offering clear guidance should her symptoms change. This level of continuity and professional diligence is uncommon and highly reassuring. The consultation was conducted in a formal, focused, and highly professional manner, reflecting the highest clinical standards. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Sujay Chandran as a conscientious, thorough, and dedicated clinician.

my wife had a replacement knee and patella from Jonathan over twelve years ago which was very successful indeed.Recently she developed severe osteoporosis and is suffering agonising pain in both hips,her lower spine and knees.Given our inability to see our GP face to face for months(our most recent visit needed a form filled back in September and we have only just seen her four months later)we were desperate to get a plan of action.We trust Jonathan implicitly,so we consulted with him. What happened exceeded our expectations.We had a consultation,mri scans,xray and blood tests all on the same afternoon at Fortius clinic.This was followed by a clear and unambiguous plan of action,referral notes,lists of further specialists recommended all within a week. A real plus is that you will be hard put to find a nicer kinder and more caring surgeon around.He is one of the nicest people to meet in the medical world and at 83 I have met a few!

I am so so grateful to Mr Malde -he was very clear with his explanations and he really gave me 100 per cent at his consultations. . I have previously had amazing care from the consultant who carried two open heart surgeries and I would say that my feelings are that they really are the superheroes of life.because they have the skills to offer everyone a brilliant chance of recovery but for those of us who have very significant co-morbities and a real risk to our lives they are brave enough to take that risk to save us. I am in awe of the amazing treatment I received at Leicester from everyone I met. I consider myself very very lucky to have received such amazing treatment from everyone but especially Mr Malde. Mum was almost blind wearing really thick glasses, and couldn't see at all without them. She had a few complications with her eyes but Dr Stewart and team endeavoured to give her as much sight back as possible, even if just slight. After her cataracts surgery on the 'good' eye, she is like a new woman. At nearly 78yrs old, mum doesn't need to wear her glasses for the first time since she was young. She can see clearer and further away. Close up is still difficult but we trust that after both eyes are done, and potentially glasses again with alot less prescription, she will be able to see so much better. She's had no pain or anything. The drs were brilliant and we can't thank them enough. This is the best thing to have happened to mum who was petrified to get her eyes done. She says he is the best Dr I have ever seen and I'm so happy.

Saw Dr Ibrahim in his private clinic in Nottingham. We discussed what had happened since he took me of the NHS waiting list for a pacemaker in October 2024. I had been free of any AF episodes for 15 months. Since the end of December 2025, I have had 2 short episodes of AF. He then explained that unless the episodes continued and affected my way of life, then there was no need for a pacemaker. He explained in detail the procedure for fitting a pacemaker. He reassured me that as long as I kept taking Apaxiban, then I was perfecting safe, even though my heartbeat ranged from 45 to 110. His professional and understanding approach, left me feeling that he had listened to me and that I felt much more confident in going forward, knowing that a pacemaker could be fitted when it was necessary.

I found the system a little confusing, I wish an email went out explaining each step that would happen, but when I’ve emailed staff have always been extremely helpful. The lady that did my daughter’s assessment was very friendly and patient with her, she allowed for her to move around, have breaks and finish early. She also explained things well. The last that did the assessment with us to discuss our daughter was also very friendly and made us feel at ease. It was a long assessment, but she allowed times for breaks. We would often go off on tangents and she was always supportive of this, but also good at bringing us back round to the topic. I would highly recommend this service.

The support at the very beginning when I was accessing the service was excellent - the person I first communicated with was helpful, gentle and kind. I felt able to ask questions and to access the support on my own terms. Getting a regular appointment that suited my needs and schedule was also easy - as a single parent, I really appreciate the flexibility. The portal took a little bit of getting used to but here too, lots of friendly support was available. The counsellor I speak to weekly is just brilliant. They are flexible and kind, and our relationship has evolved according to my needs. It's genuinely changed my life, and I couldn't be more grateful.
