I signed up for CP&R almost 6 months ago and have never looked back. The service has been excellent, communication fast and efficient and both extremely professional and friendly at the same time. The CP&R staff are extremely well trained and experienced and very easy to get on with. Their support throughout my rehabilitation has been brilliant and I certainly wouldn't be in the position I am in now if it wasn't for the whole team. I have been able to call upon advice form the physio team and cardiac nurse and every time they have been very supportive and helpful. My coach, Chloe, has been with me every step of the way and has seen me through the good and bad times, her support and enthusiasm has been fantastic and I can't thank her enough for all her hard work during my rehabilitation. I cannot recommend CP&R enough and would urge everyone to look into their services, they have certainly aided my recovery beyond what I thought was possible.

I was at St Josephs for a repair to the rotator cuff of my right shoulder. Admission was at 11:00 hrs and I was shown to a private room with ensuite bathroom, bed, easy chair and TV with Internet and Sky access. A nurse took a set of observations and both the surgeon and anaesthetist came in to discuss my surgery and confirm my consent. At 12:00 I walked in gown and slippers to the operating theatre and once on the operating table I was connected to various monitors. A pre med drug was injected via a canula on the back of my right hand. At 13:00hrs I woke up in the recovery room with the operation complete. After a short while my bed was wheeled back to my room. Further sets of observations were taken and later I was given my choice of post op snack and coffee. A physio came to see me and gave me a sheet of recommended exercises. At 19:00 my daughter arrived to take me home. I was happy with all aspects of the day.

I have recently visited Mr Terrace following some symptoms in my lower abdomen that I needed to understand better and in particular to see whether they could be related to a hernia procedure that I had undertaken earlier in the year. Mr Terrace listened attentively to my prognosis which we then discussed before he physically examined me. Following the examination we discussed his findings which ruled out a re-occurrence of my hernia and also discussed what could be causing my symptoms and how this can be managed moving forward which gave me a great deal of reassurance. Mr Terrace was exactly as he had been on my previous meetings leaving me comfortable that I was receiving the best consultation available which was delivered in a professional and very friendly and engaging manner

This was my second time undergoing surgery with Professor Purkayastha, and once again the experience was exceptional from start to finish. This time I had to have my gallbladder removed and hiatus hernia repair at the same time, and I felt completely confident in his care throughout. He is patient, thorough and genuinely attentive always taking the time to explain everything clearly. His team is equally great and accommodating. They made every step of the process smooth and stress-free, which made such a difference to my overall experience. The procedure went smoothly and I’m very grateful for the care I received and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. Now having had two operations with him, I can say with complete confidence that I trust him wholeheartedly.

We took our 9 year old son to see Dr Narayanan. He has been experiencing symptoms of anxiety and potentially depression which were manifesting themselves as physical symptoms often. We wanted to rule out any physical ailment, however Dr Narayanan went considerably beyond our expectations and was able to help us consider options for our son’s current ADHD medication and other treatment and management options. He’s very quiet and lacks confidence and Dr Narayanan amazed me with her ability to bring him out of his shell and speak to him in a way which helped him to open up. Together with her, we now feel that we now have an expert who is owning our son’s treatment and care and supporting us where we need support. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Ms Naeem, was understanding of my frustration of only being provided 4 weeks supply of Testogel at my clinic appointment 10 months ago and then only just getting a followup appointment 10 months later. She explained that it can take minimum of 3 months to feel any effect, so it is necessary to start again with a longer supply, and leave my case with an open appointment for ease of returning if necessary. She will also write to my Dr's to request they take over prescribing if no problems and the prescription works. Also explained that I'll need to take boods again to check my testosterone levels when the supply finishes. I appreciated the plan and full explanation.

I have had a number of health issues in recent months so it was encouraging that Dr Takeda went into detail on each health aspect to consider if any had an impact upon my possible cardiac issues. Too often I have experienced consultants who ignore other possible factors outside their specialism that may have an impact! Dr Takeda was very thorough in his analysis including what choices were available to confirm a final diagnosis.At all times I felt he communicated in lay man's terms so that I could completely comprehend and felt part of the discussion. I can't recommend Dr Takeda highly enough and would fully recommend his services.

Matthew Perry is an exceptional surgeon and consultant. Everything was fully explained before my operation and found him very patient and informative. Most importantly, the outcome post operation has led me to be back to normal duties after just 1 to 2 weeks. I feel full of confidence that my treatment means I have rid of my prostate cancer and look forward to living a healthy and prosperous life. My wife and I cannot thank Mr Perry and his PA, Hazel enough for the care and treatment that I have been given. I truly have been saved and with no nerve loss or any urinal issues.

My surgeon was Shohista Saidkasimova and she was really wonderful. She put me at ease during the initial consultation, extremely interested in all my questions and explaining all items of the surgery in layman’s terms. During the operation she asked what kind of music I liked and supplied this in the background, not intrusively but loud enough to provide an excellent distraction. But what really impressed me was the way she interacted with me personally throughout the operation. I have nothing but praise for this lovely lady and would throughly recommend her.

I was delighted by Cardiff Gate. I had a PSA blood panel. I would be HUGELY delighted if you would consider the following: Blood tests at Sancta in Swansea could gather blood work across greater Swansea Bay. As a suggestion to you, please consider offering that on ONE of your 2 visits per week to Sancta. say, offer morning bloods? Then charge clients a small extra fee to cover a courier to run them all back to Cardiff at midday. You don't really offer such a Bloods service ain Swansea at the moment and it would cover its costs and bring in regular business.

Absolutely brilliant, from the moment i had the pre-op all the staff from the reception right upto and including the surgeon Mr phaltankar are great - they put you at ease the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out and considering I had a full knee replacement I didn’t think I would walking so well even with crutches and after four weeks I didn’t need them the procedure was that good. My thanks to all the staff at highfield hospital and a special thanks to Mr phaltankar who gave me my mobility back.

Arrived in good time but parking was appalling. No toilet in the temporary scanner, so had to find another in main building. Was a little out of breath in return and was sent straight in. Told to stay still, but was still breathing a little hard which wasn’t taken into account. The staff were pleasant but seemed to give up on me when I couldn’t hear instructions through the headphones (I had been told to wear ear protection buds underneath).
