Mr Paniker is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with two decades of experience in the treatment of hand and wrist conditions. He sees private patients at the three sites

Mr Paniker gained his primary medical qualifications at Manipal University India, 2000, after which he undertook his post graduate training in Orthopaedics in India before coming to UK to further his Orthopaedic training in Birmingham, Manchester and Wales and eventually his Specialist Orthopaedic Training from Liverpool.
Since being appointed Consultant, Mr Paniker has become clinical lead for Orthopaedics and clinical lead for research in his NHS trust. He is also actively engaged in educating the next generation of doctors, by mentoring junior doctors and masters students. He is part of the council of the BSSH(British Soceity for Surgery of the Hand)and an examiner for the Hand Diploma and teaches on many national courses.

As someone with Addisons I am always extra nervous with any treatments. Mr Paniker explained everything in amazing detail, from start to finish. He is extremely knowledgeable and has a natural ability to ease concerns. While lump was being removed, he was so paying attention to everything to make sure it was not only done correctly, but that I was pain free, calm and understood what was happening. I have dealt with hundreds of consultants, surgeons over the years and I can honestly say he is one of the best. He has given me full use of my hand without being in pain no more. He is all round outstanding.
