I wanted to share how positive my most recent visit to Bristol Menopause Clinic was. From the moment I arrived, I felt truly listened to, believed and validated. My experiences of PMDD and perimenopause were taken seriously, without minimising or rushing, and I felt fully supported in making decisions about my care. Since the appointment, I genuinely cannot believe the difference I feel within myself. The impact on my wellbeing has been significant, both emotionally and physically, and for the first time in a long while I feel hopeful and grounded in my body again. My experience of the appointment with Mr Tavares was excellent. I have one comment on the health questionnaire I was asked to complete after the appointment and before I left the hospital. Many of the questions had a 'yes' and 'no' box at the side. Instructions at the start would have been helpful as to whether the correct answer should be ticked or circled or the incorrect answer deleted. Later on, under specific questions, directions were given to circle the correct answer. I raised the issue with the staff at the desk and they indicated that the best way of commenting was on the review form.

I can’t thank Mr Radley and the team at Harborne Hospital enough. It was my first experience of needing surgery. Mr Radley took the time to explain everything thoroughly, answered all my questions and gave me the confidence to proceed. I was in good hands with Mr Radley and I certainly recommend him to family and friends. All of the staff at Harborne Hospital including reception, nurses and catering services were marvellous and so welcoming. No one wants to be in hospital but if the needs be I would recommend Mr Radley and Harborne Hospital every time.

This is a truly excellent service. I had been to another ear wax removal specialist a few days earlier who had failed to unblock my ears after half an hour of trying. I have a particular shape of ear canal that causes the wax to sit stubbornly on the ear drum. Rekesh is very personable and knowledgable and has a lovely comfortable treatment room. Within a few minutes he had completely unblocked both my ears, almost effortlessly. I was delighted and I highly recommend this service.

Mr Cheng was exceptionally thorough and professional throughout my consultation. Vast majority of the people were super friendly and made my hospital stay very comfortable. Hospital was clean and everyone was extremely professional. I did get the feeling though that you get rushed a bit when it gets to recovery and need to get going post-surgery which is not ideal as sometimes you are just not feeling fit enough or ready to go home straight away, especially after general anaesthesia. Overall extremely positive experience.

Lisa proactively addressed my sensory sensitivities to make sure I was comfortable during the appointment without my asking for adjustments-a welcome service for someone like me who forgets what I am sensitive to until I become overwhelmed by it. My appointment was on time and I was welcomed by Dr Michael Rose and he asked me how i have been and I explained the tablets he prescribed were a big help and he upted the tablets strength 20 mg and then to 30 mg in a few days time which i am happy to try I asked Dr Rose a few questions about the cause of my problem and was it from lifting items too heavy and I was happy enough with his explanation
