I cannot speak highly enough of my experience at the Mcindoe centre , mysurgeon mr Harley and his entire team. From my very first consultation right through to my follow-up appointment, every single person I met was professional, kind, and incredibly attentive. Mr Harley took all the time needed to explain my procedure clearly, answer every question I had, and make sure I felt fully informed and at ease — there was never any rush. Their skill and precision were evident throughout, and I felt completely confident in their care. The nursing and administrative staff were equally wonderful: friendly, approachable, and always ready to help with a smile. They made what could have been a stressful process feel calm and supported, checking in regularly to make sure I was comfortable and well looked after. I am so grateful for the outstanding care I received. I would highly recommend mr Harley and his team to anyone seeking high-quality, compassionate medical treatment. I didn’t like the change of rooms from admission to recovery and discharge. The rooms had no toilets so you had to walk out to the loo. In recovery I was left far too long and in a tiny pod room with no nurse button and with the side guards up which meant I couldn’t get out of the bed. I had to request my things be brought from another room somewhere and have no idea where my things were moved to and from between admission and discharge. I was not shown toilets in recovery. I had to shout for a good few minutes before the nurses heard me to get out of the bed due to the guards. I was given water and a jelly. No offer of food and just wanted to get out of there in the end. There were issues with my discharge but the nurses dealt with it well. It was the strangest private set up I’ve experienced and I’ve been in many hospitals in the area. I will say my admissions nurse was fantastic he was so attentive to detail and noticed a mistake with my labels and the address being wrong. I wish I got his name but he was Italian and really kind. Credit to the hospital

If you happen to be hit by an Inguinal Hernia development, it is critically important that you must research all aspects of the process of Inguinal Hernia Repair. As part of selecting an experienced surgeon, you must have an initial consultation with any prospective surgeon and ask him/her many of the questions in your mind, including the critical issue of Mesh selection. While you are choosing a surgeon you are clearly taking a risk. Luckily, during my initial consultation with Mr Ebied, I formed a positive rapport and decided to proceed with him as my inguinal repair surgeon. Overall my experience has been very positive despite the fact that post surgery there has been a development of a Rash involving my lover abdomen and upper legs. In order to deal with the Rash, at the advise of my GP I had to take some antibiotics for a few weeks. It has now been a month since my surgery and I feel I am now fully recovered and begun resuming normal activities.

Dr Edward Nash

I have just seen Dr Nash and he was polite and approachable. I explained my symptoms (struggling with my breathing) and he was asking a lot of questions. He listened to my breathing and explained a spirometer test, what the purpose is and what the results were, very informative. He then went through what my new treatment plan is and next steps, to me this gave me hope… I finally had a treatment plan! I felt comfortable, understood and most importantly I felt heard, my nervousness has been relieved here and I have a follow up in a few weeks to look at my progress. I would say if you are looking to get support from Dr Nash, not to hesitate because you will feel heard and respected. I walked out of that appointment with my plan of treatment to start and Dr Nash had a lot of items to do to help me (some admin homework) Thank you

Mr Ali Al-Rikabi

As someone with severe dental anxiety who had a bad toothache and was told by my previous dentist that a tooth extraction is very complex and I would need stitches and he could not do it. I then made an appointment with Mr Ali Al-Rikabi who was highly recommend. I was incredibly nervous but Mr Ali Al-Rikabi took his time explained the procedure and calmed my nerves. He then extracted the tooth perfectly in one piece with no stitches required. I was so happy with my care that I've already gone back for a second issue. Thank you Mr Ali Al-Rikabi and team you are amazing.

My wait for the appointment was only 10 minutes but as it was a late afternoon appointment, this meant that by the time I came out of the consultation with a prescription, the pharmacy was closed. I spent 2 days attempting unsuccessfully to get the medication at local pharmacies and therefore had to return to the hospital pharmacy, driving to and from Canterbury. Might it be possible for the pharmacy to stay open while outpatient consultations are continuing beyond 5pm when the pharmacy closes?

Referred to Professor Moore from South Wales for an expert second opinion, following complicated cataract surgery to my left eye in January. Professor Moore took time clearly informing me of my treatment options and his recommendation to review my eye in a few months time if my blurred vision wasn't continuing to improve. Reassuringly the week running up to my consultation my focus was gradually improving. Would certainly recommend Professor Moore and his very experienced skilled team at CTC.

Professor Bajaj advised for our 3-year-old daughter to have an adeno-tonsillectomy and it has had such a huge benefit on her sleep. No more snoring and gasping for air in the night, and her congestion has completely gone. Professor Bajaj was fantastic with my daughter and made her feel at ease.
