Moving to a new country was supposed to be an exciting fresh start, but instead I found myself struggling with depression and anxiety in ways I'd never experienced before. Everything felt overwhelming - the isolation, adjusting to a new culture, being away from everything familiar. I didn't recognise myself anymore. Working with Karima has been transformative. She understood the complexity of what I was going through - it wasn't just about feeling low, it was about grief, identity, belonging, and rebuilding my life from scratch. She created such a compassionate space whilst also helping me develop practical strategies to manage both the depression and anxiety. I'm still in therapy, but the difference is remarkable. I can handle difficult days so much better now. I've got tools that actually work, and more importantly, I've found hope again. I can see a future here that feels possible, even good. The anxiety doesn't consume me the way it did, and the depression has lifted enough that I can engage with my new life rather than just surviving it. I had a consultation on 2/12/25 with Mr Kalvarezos . He was absolutely brilliant . I felt so so reassured and he explained everything thoroughly and provided me with all the information I needed and more . He was very thorough and gave me plenty of time and I could ask everything I needed to know and I came away with so much information that was so so helpful and gave me clarity . He has a lovely way about him and is very pleasant to talk to and I am delighted to have had that consultation . His secretary Amanda was also incredible and she was lovely and caring and so so efficient and reassuring and she really does care and was so fast with E mails, phone calls and getting information together and she is also such a kind, warm hearted person . Wow ! Absolutely brilliant . Excellent .

I came in today for surgery feeling incredibly nervous after a bad experience on the NHS previously, all I can say is I am so impressed with how different the process has been with the team today. Everyone from reception to the nurses to the anesthesiologist and of course Mr Banwell were genuinely fantastic and I can’t thank them enough. No question or ask was too much, I truly felt genuine care and warmth from all the staff. They checked on me regularly, reassured me constantly. My pain has been managed incredibly well and Mr Banwell’s precision has most definitely aided this too. I can’t be more grateful for everyone that cared for me today, Thank you all so much.

The Manor Hospital appeared clean, pleasant environment and staff were friendly. There is however one major issue - Car Parking. I nearly missed my appointment despite arriving 35 minutes prior. The car park does not appear adequate for the volume of patients and staff. A vehicle had been parked and blocked the car park, presumably because they thought were going to miss their appointment. This was resolved by creating a one way system which finally allowed me to, by luck, get a space. As an improvement it might be good if when booking, the booker tells the patient of possible alternative car parks in the area that they might have to use?

Welcoming and helpful. Only one lift was working and the remaining one was noisy and slow but there was a notice advising of this. The coffee machine in wait area was out of order Reception staff were kind and helpful but sometimes difficult to understand accent. One set of chairs in a sub waiting area was under a shelf which meant I knocked my head. Appeared clean and efficient and was quiet on day of my visit. Preoperative bloods were done straight after consultation which is very good and in fact results appeared next day. That's good service. Overall allowing for things that happen a positive experience.

The procedure was completely painless, which was a huge relief. The clinic was calm, comfortable, and immaculately clean, creating a very reassuring environment. Dr Bordbar was highly professional, took the time to explain each step clearly, and made me feel at ease throughout the appointment. I felt genuinely well cared for and confident in the treatment I received. I would highly recommend this service to anyone considering a joint injection.

I needed to have several inoculations for travel to high risk areas. It is possible, but not cost-free, to get this done on the NHS with lots of planning, delays, and waiting for appointments. Or get them all done in one go, here, seamlessly, for a little more cost. Doctor, staff, practice, whole experience all first rate.
