I cannot recommend Dr Sunil Chopra highly enough. From start to finish, the experience at the London Dermatology Centre was exceptional. Booking an appointment was straightforward and I was able to get one much sooner than I expected. The clinic itself is modern, spotless and very welcoming. After previously being misdiagnosed with vitiligo by the NHS and then being told it was simply due to my "old age" (I'm in my early thirties!!), I decided to do my own research and find a dermatologist with expertise in skin of colour. As a Black African woman, it was really important to me to see someone who understands the unique characteristics of our skin. That's what led me to Dr Chopra and I'm so glad it did. One thing that also gave me confidence was that Dr Chopra has excellent skin himself. That might sound superficial to some people, but for me it matters. If I'm trusting someone with my skin, I want to feel confident that they genuinely understand skincare and practice what they preach. During my appointment, Dr Chopra carried out a thorough examination using a Wood's lamp and also used an advanced skin imaging machine that analysed my skin in detail. He explained everything clearly and reassured me that I do not have vitiligo. Instead, he diagnosed me with Idiopathic Guttate Hypomelanosis (IGH), which was a huge relief to finally understand. What stood out the most was how much time he took to listen. He answered every single one of my questions and addressed all my concerns without making me feel rushed. As a woman, that's something I haven't always experienced in healthcare and it was incredibly refreshing to feel genuinely heard. He recommended the most appropriate creams and treatments for my condition, but what really impressed me was his honesty. Although the clinic stocks the creams, he actually advised me to buy them from Boots because it would be cheaper. That level of integrity is rare. I had also been considering glutathione drips and chemical peels. Many clinics would have happily sold me expensive treatments, but Dr Chopra advised against them because he didn't believe they were appropriate for my condition. That showed me he genuinely cares about his patients rather than making money from unnecessary procedures. He also went into great detail about my current skincare routine, explaining what was beneficial, what wasn't and how to better care for my skin moving forward. I left my appointment feeling informed, reassured and confident in the treatment plan. If you're looking for an experienced, knowledgeable and genuinely caring dermatologist especially if you have skin of colour, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Sunil Chopra. He is worth every penny and I'll definitely be returning for any future dermatology concerns. I'll also be recommending him to all my friends and family.

I visited Mr Kannegieter two years ago complaining of severe plantar fascittis in both feet but much more severe in my right foot. At that time Mr Kannegieter explained to me, after doing an ultra sound scan, my options. All options open to me were fully explained and easily understood. I chose to go with physio and laser treatment. This gave me some mild relief but unfortunately, not as successful as I had hoped. I then tried shock wave, which again did not really help. Following this I went back to Mr Kannegieter who once again scanned my feet and explained that I could have a gastrocnemius recession and as my right big toe was badly arhtrotic explained the options available to me for this. Once again the explanation was easy to understand and any questions I had were answered with much patience and understanding. He left it with me to decide what I wanted to do. After much thought I decided to have the operation and as explained to me at the consultation, I was able to have both the toe fused and the gastrocnemius recession done at the same time. His after care both immediately following the operation and during my recovery were excellent. Mr Kannegieter is easily approachable and I am only too happy to recommend him.

I had a laparoscopic myomectomy to remove a polyp and two fibroids. One of the fibroids, which was on the outside of my uterus, had grown significantly since January and had reached 10 cm. It was pressing on my bowel and bladder and had been causing me a lot of pain and discomfort. Throughout my treatment, Mr Abdelbar was incredibly kind, reassuring and professional. From the first appointment, he took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood my options. His calm manner gave me confidence and helped ease a lot of the anxiety I was feeling before surgery. Mr Abdelbar always made me feel comfortable and listened to. He was approachable, compassionate and genuinely caring, which made a difficult experience much easier to deal with. I felt completely confident that I was in the best possible hands. I am very grateful for the care and treatment I received from Mr Abdelbar and would highly recommend him to anyone needing treatment for fibroids or other gynaecological conditions.

Following a recent assessment with Dr Bajaj, my child was diagnosed with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The assessment process and overall experience were very positive, and we felt well supported throughout. Since starting ADHD medication, the response has exceeded our expectations. We have observed a significant improvement in my child's ability to manage everyday tasks and routines that were previously very challenging. In particular, routine requests such as brushing his teeth and cleaning his bedroom, which often resulted in considerable distress or meltdowns before treatment, are now completed independently and without emotional escalation. These improvements have had a substantial positive impact on daily family life and my child's overall functioning. Overall, the medication has been highly effective to date, with noticeable improvements in attention, task initiation, emotional regulation, and cooperation with everyday activities.

I've been coming to this practice for a while now and have always felt really well looked after. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, and the dentists always take the time to explain things properly. I also really appreciate that they give advice in a supportive way and never make you feel embarrassed or judged. A couple of things have really stuck with me. I wanted to buy a particular toothpaste they didn't have in stock, so they gave me a few samples to take away instead, which was a really kind gesture. On another occasion I had a minor issue after my appointment and popped back later that day. They were happy to help and gave me some extra swabs, which put my mind at ease. Dr Matt was polite, understanding and experienced.. He met my wife and I in the corridor and escorted us to his room, where he introduced us to his colleague. Comfortable, private consulting rooms. I felt I had all the time I needed to discuss concerns that would not have been possible in my GP practice. For a first appointment directions for car parking would have been helpful especially as the sign for the practice is discreet and not easy to spot while driving.
