I was very pleased to be able to return to the care of Mr Anthony Sakellariou having seen him for treatment for another issue close to 20 years prior. The wait time for an initital consultation was very short and since that first meeting, I have attended regular appointments and received treatment that has helped relieve the pain and restricted movement in both feet considerably. The pain relief in particular has made a huge difference to my quality of life, overall health anxiety and my ability to enjoy activities such as walking, driving, etc. I have also been referred for physio and given advice on day to day adjustments I can make to help manage symptoms long term. Throughout, I have found Mr Sakellariou to be extremely empathetic, friendly and understanding. He has identified and executed a plan of treatment that has really made a huge difference and I am grateful for all he has done. In addition to the medical treatment, I would like to pass my thanks to Rebecca Overy who has been exceedingly helpful with insurance queries, as well as keeping me informed and helping to schedule appointments. She is professional, politely and friendly and goes the extra mile to be helpful.

In theatre, I had to say I couldn’t open my eyes fully as the plastic covering placed over my eyes was rucked and digging into my previously operated rt. eye.. This was then corrected. A large amount of iodine was instilled to my left eye ( later discovered it was all in my hair ), and I said it felt so painful that I was sure my eye was not anaesthetised. I was then told I would have lots more anaesthetic drops which I believe happened. But I felt the eye speculum being put in and the sensation, not pain, of a tiny curved cut to the nose side of my eyes and then the sensation moved to the opposite side of my eye , where I had a sort of digging sensation, no pain, for a couple of seconds. No further discomforts or sensations felt, just extreme relief to be over the ordeal. However good communication throughout and attention paid to what I was experiencing. My eye was completely comfortable afterwards and my recovery was first class for which I am most grateful.

I came to see Brendan with various concerns that needed further investigation and appreciated the way Brendan put me at ease. He was thorough and explained everything clearly, gently and compassionately. From the first consultation to the more invasive tests I felt calm and confident that I was in good hands I also want to mention his PA, Kate. I rarely come across assistants to consultants who go out of their way to be friendly, helpful and kind. Kate always responded straight away, even in the evenings and she echoed Brendan’s gentle bedside manner. My whole experience from start to finish was professional and impeccable. I would highly recommend Mr Gallagher to anyone looking for a consultant Gynaecologist.

We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Shiri. She was always reassuring and available to give us advice seven days a week whenever we had doubts. Her support was especially important in the early days with our new baby, when we had so many questions and needed guidance. Dr. Shiri also visited us at home, which always made a huge difference, as we believe that our baby felt much more relaxed being examined in a familiar environment rather than a clinic. All of our appointments with her have been excellent, and she has consistently advised us on the best course of action for our baby’s health and wellbeing. I came to Mr Salih through the Check4Cancer program with a new condition. I was listened to, able to describe all my concerns, examined and sent for several tests, after which I was well reassured that all was safe and normal. I was then offered to come back in 6 weeks to ensure nothing had changed, and all was improving. I was met with the same response, another test and given the all clear. I also feel reassured to come back again in future if I notice any changes.

We moved from the US a couple of years ago and found Moira Wong after several bad experiences with other London orthodontists who recommended treatments at odds with our previous doctor and medical friends. Dr. Wong has done a wonderful job treating two of my children, who have both undergone different versions of braces and spacers. Her dentistry staff has also offered superb care to all four of my children. I would definitely recommend this practice.

Dr Hannant was great, listening to my concerns and symptoms, examining the area, and proposed the best course of action with minimal risk. Today’s appointment was a check in to see how I was and determine whether any further action required, Dr Hannant assured me I was on the path to recovery and advised me of the option to self refer within the next 6 months if I have any further issues. Great service.

It took weeks to arrange an appointment then they cancelled and rescheduled. My scan was arranged very quickly thereafter, however despite being told the results would be 1-2 weeks, I am still chasing up trying get results and treatment. In total it’s been a couple of months since starting and my private health care is about expire before I’m able to be seen or treated.

Sadly I was a patient at Abergele Eye Hospital but have not been recalled for eye checks for over 3 years. I will continue using this clinic in the future to see Mrs Mathews Pam E.

My optometrist told me that there is no need for distance glasses and gave me a prescription for reading glasses though I don't really need them except for the tiniest print!
