We wanted to express our heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional care Dr Darr provided to our daughter during her treatment for orbital cellulitis. Dr Darr's decision to perform the complex sinus drainage surgery the way he did, despite it being more complicated, showed great skill and consideration for her long-term health. His ability to explain everything clearly, both before and after the surgery, put both our daughter and us at ease. Dr Darr's bedside manner was outstanding - he took the time to reassure us, answer all our questions, and explain the procedure in a way our teenager could understand. We particularly appreciated him coming out to update us after surgery and the thorough post-op appointment where he went through everything in detail. Dr Darr is the most straight talking dr we have ever met told us exactly what he was doing to do our son. His care and attention has been amazing. The operation well really well. Today we went for our after care appointment to have stents removed Dr Darr was very gentle we had no idea how long they were. He went on to reassure us of the healing process and was very kind and gentle with our son who is 16 and austic. He explained to all of us what he did and how long the healing would take. We are due back in 3 months. Dr Darr's booking assistant is an amazing man called Pete i was very worried about this operation and he was so lovely explained how he knew Dr Darr and reassured me what a talented surgeon he was. Pete called me while away on holiday booked the appointment for February 2 days later called again to say a cancellation had come up for Jan 6th that was 1 day after our holiday i was hesitant but again Pete reassured me of the care and consideration they would show my Son. I know the Nhs has a bad reputation but the team around him was amazing from Pete who booked the appointment Oliver the anesthesiologist a junior surgeon who i forget her name to Sharon the nurse who gave us the best after care. Thank you to this lovely amazing team.

Dr Darr was extremely professional, put me at ease, explained clearly what the procedure would be like and friendly.

I had a consultation with Mr Darr & Mr Stockton (Oct 2024). Mr Darr explained the procedure and expected wait time of approximately 12 months. I had my surgery 09/12/25 as a day case and a follow up 10 days post op. Splints removed and further 12 week follow up discussed. Thank you for your specialist care and explanation of my case.
