I feel incredibly grateful to have been treated by Dr Mohamed Mabrouk — a truly exceptional surgeon and one of the most compassionate, skilled, and dedicated doctors I have ever met. He did far more than perform an operation for me — he changed my life. My case turned out to be extremely complex. Although my diagnostics originally did not show anything dramatic, once the surgery began it unexpectedly revealed stage 4 deep infiltrating endometriosis — something that is very common, as this condition often cannot be fully seen or understood without laparoscopy. It can appear “out of the blue,” and that is exactly what happened in my situation. Despite this sudden complexity, Dr Mabrouk handled everything with extraordinary precision, calmness, and mastery. He removed every single trace of endometriosis, even in areas that are notoriously difficult to treat, and he did it with a level of accuracy that I still find incredible: My ovarian reserve was completely preserved. None of my organs were harmed. Not even a single blood vessel was damaged. This kind of outcome in stage 4 cases is extremely rare. Many surgeons would have had to sacrifice something, or leave part of the disease behind, simply because of the difficulty — but not Dr Mabrouk. His skill is on a world-class level, and his meticulous technique protected my fertility, my organs, and my quality of life. But what truly sets him apart is not just his surgical brilliance — it’s his humanity. He explained everything clearly, supported me emotionally, and made me feel safe at every stage. After the operation, he called me personally, even on weekends, just to ask how I was feeling and to make sure I was recovering well. His warmth, kindness, and genuine care are something I will never forget. Thanks to him, I am now pain-free for the first time in many years. My physical and mental health have been restored. I feel light, healthy, and finally able to live my life without constant discomfort and stress. Dr Mohamed Mabrouk is a doctor with a truly rare combination of expertise, precision, and heart. Receptionist was absolutely lovely and really friendly and helpful. The building and facilities were all excellent and kept clean and tidy. The consultant I saw was extremely rude, arrogant and judgemental. There were several comments he made that shocked me and that made me feel very uncomfortable to the point I almost walked out mid appointment. There was very little sympathy or mindfulness of my injury and he came across extremely judgemental in the assumptions he made about the level of sport I played, what I could afford, and several other things. I actually play semi-professionally and have represented our country in World Championships in the sport I play, and I also have a law degree and accountancy qualification which I did not mention as quite frankly it is irrelevant. It was apparent he took a dislike to me for whatever reason from the start and the whole experience was very uncomfortable. His behaviour aside, he is clearly very knowledgeable and good at what he does. Reading between the lines I got the answer I needed. This hospital was recommended to me by one of your previous patients and I was lucky to get booked in through an NHS referral but after my experience I would never return for any issue and am relieved I didn't pay to go private.

I saw Alex Townsend for a running injury on my foot/ankle via Bupa. He was very professional, provided great care, and was excellent at communicating his thought process as he inspected my injury. He was efficient and determined in getting me the necessary follow ups booked timely when I told him I had an upcoming race. He referred me to Dr. Burdon who was also very professional and provided great care. After our follow up, Alex provided me with useful training resources for foot taping and running. He performed walking and running gait analysis on me. It was insightful to hear his analysis, and it formed the basis for him to refer me for additional foot physio appointments to strengthen my foot and minimize chance of future injuries.
