Attended for a blood test. I’ve had multiple bad experiences with blood tests over the years. This is primarily because I have very small and narrow veins which disappear with the touch of a needle..☹️ I find the whole experience extremely painful and distressing … I explained all of this to Debbie, the wonderful and kind nurse who attended me. She was brilliant! Totally put me at ease and was incredibly supportive and gentle. I was definitely a challenge for her as my veins were completely uncooperative per usual. But she took her time and used the smallest needle possible to minimise any discomfort. She succeeded in the end and managed to get enough blood for a full blood count!! Miraculous! I am so very grateful to Debbie for turning a potentially very upsetting and negative experience into a positive outcome. She has helped me to regain a little more confidence in having my blood taken again. Thank you Debbie! 😊

I had a knee replacement, all I had to do was follow the instructions of the medical staff, who were all very professional, clear but above all kind. Mr Krishnan (the surgeon) did a wonderful job, this is a painful procedure but the nurses made sure relief was only a bell push away. I was given exercises to do that were gradually increased as the days went on. Once home I followed all the instructions and exercises given and regained full mobility by the end of six weeks. The hospital staff worked as a team and were very supportive, kind and positive. I can’t praise my surgeon enough and all the wonderful staff. Because of their treatment I made a textbook recovery in the shortest time possible.

It’s underneath my chin, lopsided, on top of any tissue, not even near my chin bone, and they refute 2nd opinions I’ve had that there’s anything wrong with this. They also promised me a referral for a CT scan for months but keep deferring. So I’ve had to arrange these scans myself to get proof needed. Made a formal complaint and didn’t even get a written response. Independent adjudication (ISCAS) next then Small Claims. They will not take responsibility for negligence/errors so beware! Please pass on so people are aware - as this needs to be made public

Dr Selva Theivacumar was professional and helpful from the beginning when consulting me on my varicose veins. He gave an excellent recommendation on what was possible and necessary in a tailored treatment plan to achieve my desired outcome. The team and him always made sure I was comfortable and clear with each stage, along with being friendly, knowledgeable and vigilant in the lead upto the procedure which helped put my nerves at ease. In the after care I was well looked after and given instructions on how to look after myself at home along with any limitations. My surgery took place there and had to stay overnight due to vertigo and dizziness. The hospital was friendly, new and pristine. The nursing staff outstanding as well as of course the medical team. I had dinner and breakfast and it was also healthy and delicious. Yesterday I returned to have the dressing removed and it was equally good. If any criticism would be to the pharmacy with a 30minute wait to get my prescription and also despite being a Bupa hospital not having the availity to charge Bupa for medication- I am under Bupa Global and in other Bupa hospitals this is the case.
