I had an appointment today with Dr Fionnulala Barton, and I honestly can’t recommend her highly enough. For the first time in a long time, I felt truly listened to. She took the time to understand my symptoms, thoughts, and concerns without rushing or dismissing anything. What stood out most was how validating the experience was — it made such a difference to have someone acknowledge what I’ve been going through and reassure me that I’m not alone in it. Dr Barton combines compassion with clear expertise, and I left feeling both understood and supported. Most importantly, we now have a clear plan in place, which has given me real hope and a sense of control moving forward. It feels like I’m finally taking positive steps in the right direction. If you’re struggling or unsure where to turn with menopause-related concerns, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr Barton.

I visited Mr Skyrme for a "second opinion", as I have been very let down by the NHS. After seven months of mediocre treatment and my life being turned upside down, I really needed to know what was the best treatment for my left knee. Unfortunately, I was rather akin to "a rabbit in the headlights" and forgot to say most of the things I had planned. However, I believe Mr Skyrme to be a very experienced, competent, clever, considerate and kind man. If I had insurance I would have loved to have had Mr Skyrme perform my arthroscopy, as I know it would be an excellent operation, with an excellent outcome. Sadly, that is not to be as I am an NHS patient, but at least I now know, with confidence,f what the best treatment is for my knee.

This was my first appointment at Bristol Menopause clinic. Everything from start to finish was wonderful. The way I was treated made me feel really valued. The reception staff were lovely, the doctor was incredibly knowledgeable and understood everything I was saying perfectly. She’s made some really good recommendations and explained every part of her thinking what to expect, any potential side-effects and the hopeful Benefits. The doctor also made me feel that things I’ve been experiencing were perfectly normal and explained the medical issues behind it. I’m about to start HRT treatment, gel and tablet form and I’m really looking forward to hopefully seeing potential Benefits in the coming months. Thank you so much X.

Dr Yasir Azim Mirza

We took our 3 month old to see Dr Mirza through a referral from a paediatrician at Spire Hartswood. We were really struggling with her severe eczema weeping, bleeding, cracking and flaking and the NHS wait was too long when she was so sore and in pain. We felt really heard and Dr Mirza was very friendly and professional in his examination. We felt the next steps were clear and we even had a call from his secretary (our appt was a Friday) to say if we had concerns over the weekend we could contact her to relay to the doctor. You really do get what you pay for but we would definitely recommend Dr Mirza. Initial few days after the appt her skin seems to be heading in the right direction so hopefully it will continue!

Following my ophthalmology assessment and diagnostic testing on 8 May 2026, I received confirmation of a glaucoma diagnosis. I would like to thank Mr Chan and the team at Spire Healthcare for the highly professional, thorough, and efficient care provided throughout the process. The consultation and investigations were handled with excellent clinical professionalism and clear communication throughout. I was particularly impressed by the speed of the follow-up arrangements, with my next appointment scheduled promptly for 4 June 2026, providing reassurance and confidence in the ongoing monitoring and management plan.

I highly recommend Dr. Naval Mair for anyone struggling with back pain or injuries. When I first came to him, I was in severe pain, struggling mentally, and barely managing daily life. Thanks to IDD therapy, massage, and his treatment approach, my pain has improved so much that I’m sleeping properly again and able to carry out normal daily activities. Most importantly, he genuinely cares about his patients, which is rare to find these days. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and treats you with real compassion and attention. I’m incredibly thankful to him.

First of all I was called by Mr Khanna just after 7am today- he asked a few questions and then whether or not I could make a 7:30pm app this evening! Of course I agreed and met Mr Khanna in person. He was really friendly and informative. Even after his long day, my consultation didn’t feel rushed in the slightest . We talked through my procedure, the risks etc. I have agreed to go forward with my operation and feel reassured that I will be in very safe hands.

I dont want to go into details, but from the moment I arrived the reception lady was so lovely warm friendly showed me where I needed to go - explained the form I needed to complete and advised if stuck to speak to a member of stuff - made sure I knew the refreshments were free and help myself - they make you feel important, and my actual consultation was really good and informative- highly recommend this hospital thats only from my first visit

Dr Abdullah examined me thoroughly, initially as an in patient in hospital, and made some suggestions about my ongoing medication. He was very kind and didn't rush the consultation. It changed my life completely. I recently had a check up a few weeks later. I am no longer coughing, wheezing or breathing heavily, and am able to walk further than I could for a long time. I would recommend him unhesitatingly.

Dr Hari has helped me work out a protocol, in absolute conjunction with my NHS team.. giving me some hope in what feels like a hopeless world.. I had not visited the Richmond branch before so I was keen to compare and contrast. It is easier for me to get to (location-wise) but obviously it is a smaller practice than my normal one (Argyll Street). I was very impressed with the professionalism of my consultant (not sure the right title) Aoife, who was very thorough and careful. I felt I was in good hands and that I was not being hurried.
