Recently I was in hospital to have a full knee replacement operation. Prior to admission l was sent personalised information to allow me to make an informed choice of some of the procedures before signing the consent form. On the day itself both the anaesthetist and Mr Abu-Rajab came to explain to me what was to happen during the surgery. When the procedure was over and I was back in my room Mr Abu-Rajab came to inform me that the operation had gone very well.. lt was very reassuring to get such positive feedback from the surgeon., especially knowing how bad the osteoarthritis had been in my knee.. I was very grateful for the treatment l received from the surgical team.
Mr Abu-Rajab was very thorough in how he looked after me and I felt he was very good at his trade.
I was in for a new knee replacement.. as soon as I walked in entrance was welcomed by reception very helpful...the nursing staff doctors anesthetist etc...couldn't be anymore professional and would definitely recommend this hospital
Two face to face consultations were most helpful. He explained the alternatives and the risks very clearly. Arranging the Hip replacement was well handled and he was very responsive to emails. On the day and post op he was very relaxed and reassuring. I would thoroughly recommend.
First class professional treatment. Made me feel at ease explaining everything that would be done. I had a first class outcome thanks to Dr Rashid Abu-Rajab and his wonderful team. I can’t thank them highly enough.
Staff were very nice and surgeon was excellent at what he did. Lovely manner. Food was good as well. Felt I was constantly pushing for painkillers. Already knew it was a really painful operation and the surgeon explained everything well but I was taken off my regular pain medication and put on the hospital medication and it wasn’t enough Paperwork was all wrong. Was sent 3 forms for consent signature and each one was for the wrong operation. I’d probably have just laughed that off but coming out the wrong medication was given and if I hadn’t checked I’d have left with nothing I could take and I had paperwork with a return date and that was wrong as well
Mr Rashid Abu-Rajab did a full right hip replacement for me. From my very first meeting with him he was great, explained everything very calmly, clearly and precisely. Was always very happy to take my questions regardless of what they where. If it was important to me then it was important for him to answer. His whole bedside manner from beginning to end was just excellent. I was very nervous about my OP and all I can say to sum it all up was I am so happy and glad Mr Abu-Rajab was my surgeon. I am now on the long road to recovery and I'm sure the journey ahead has been made alot easier due to Mr Abu-Rajab professionalism and care.
So helpful gentle goose at listening, providing useful information always there when needed or not couldn't ask for better
Overall an excellent experience. Mr Abu-Rajab was extremely pleasant, reassuring and was happy to discuss and answer any questions that I had about my procedure.
Mr Rashid Abu -Rajab was professional and kind from the moment I first met him until I was discharged. He explained my operation with kindness and answered all my concerns with attention to detail. He put me at great ease. I am getting to an age when many of my friends require hip replacement and will have no hesitation in recommending him
