Mr William Wilson

I had knee surgery with Mr William Wilson after previously having ACL surgery, and the difference has been incredible. Before the operation I could barely manage an hour on my motorcycle before my knee became painful and uncomfortable. Mr Wilson repaired the damaged ligament and added extra support to strengthen and stabilise my knee. The result has been better than I could have hoped for. I can now spend a full day riding with no problems at all and my knee feels strong and stable. It has genuinely given me back something I thought I might have to give up. I can’t thank Mr Wilson enough for his skill, care and the difference he has made to my quality of life. I would highly recommend him.

I visited Mr Wilson after recent knee. Surgery. He was very polite and professional and explained everything I wanted to know and answered all my questions

I had a bucket handle tear. And from the first appointment dr Wilson was very honest and explained things to me very well. He also made conversation away from medical that made it a personal experience and made me at ease. On the day of the surgery it was the exact same and vertigo comforting as I was nervous. On follow up appointments dr Wilson made sure I knew what was going on, and took my personal life and activities in to consideration when giving me instructions. Very happy with the outcome of surgery and after care.

I broke my ankle at the end of June, and Mr William Wilson performed my surgery two days later. He came to speak to me the day I got discharged to explain my injury and what he done during the surgery. He told me in a way I could understand. I had a follow up with him on 19th August which was 7 weeks after my surgery. He was very polite, well mannered and professional. He let me see the new x-rays and told me everything was looking and healing well. He also looked at both incisions on my ankle and said they were fully healed too. I had some questions for Mr Wilson, and he was more than happy to answer them all for me. I feel confident I will make a full recovery from my injury.

Mr Wilson is an accomplished professional and his confidence set me at ease from the beginning. I was to undergo a total knee replacement which of course I found daunting.beforehand. He gave me detailed, succinct information about the procedure before the operation. He then briefed me on his handiwork directly afterwards, giving me a comprehensive update the following day when I was more lucid, which was reassuring. And then again at the 6 week follow up appointment. He was happy to answer any and all of my questions regarding the operation, my current progress and expected outcomes regarding exercise, work and getting back into sports. I’m currently at the six week mark of my recovery. It is going very well and I’m happy with my decision to go with Mr Wilson. I would have no hesitation in contacting Mr Wilson again for any other procedures as I have had a good experience. As per all of the above information, I can highly recommend him as an excellent surgeon.
