I am so incredibly grateful to Mr Chalhoub and feel so fortunate to have recently been under his expert care. I only wish I had found him sooner. I had been struggling for over a year with symptoms and saw consultants locally, both NHS and privately. These consultations only served to make me more anxious as I was given conflicting advice, ultimately I was told my only option was to risk leaving things or have open surgery which they said was complicated due to my previous history. I was so worried and couldn’t decide what to do for the best. Then, after much research and reading many reviews, I found Mr Chalhoub in London and one phone call to Sarah, his amazing practice manager, changed everything. Sarah genuinely listened to me and after talking to her I felt encouraged to have a consultation with Tony. That consultation was incredible, for the first time in over a year I felt confidence and optimism. Tony listened to me very carefully, explained my options very clearly and within a few weeks I had had a total (minimally invasive) hysterectomy and felt fantastic. I can honestly say my recovery was remarkable - I felt completely like myself again so quickly and had to deliberately stop myself from doing too much as I felt so good. Not only is Tony is an exceptionally talented surgeon (I only have two tiny marks as evidence of the surgery!) he is also so kind, understanding and caring. I can genuinely say that from that very first phone call with Sarah, through surgery and the follow up calls, I have felt truly and comprehensively cared for and know I have been in the most expert of hands. I simply can’t recommend Mr Chalhoub and his team highly enough, my family and I will always be truly grateful.

Steve is excellent. Personable and very professional and clearly knows his stuff. He operated on our son following a shoulder dislocation playing rugby. Throughout the process, Steve was clear with the surgical options and very thorough in his explanations, particularly understanding with the emotions of a teenager and his desperation to be back on the pitch again. He has a friendly manner and was always quick to answer extra questions we had between consultations. He did an excellent surgical job on our son and we’d have no hesitation in recommending him. Once I arrived on the day of my surgery, the nurses were great in making sure I was fully prepared. The only questionable experience I had was that the physio who visited me before the surgery caused some confusion, as the exercises she showed me to do during the first three weeks were not what Prof. Field had said. Also it seemed odd that the physio visited me before the surgery, rather than after. Hence I ended up staying the night and saw Yannis, a different physio, the following morning, who was incredibly helpful. However, the experience overall was great, and Prof. Field and Dr Hussain, along with the day and night nurses, made me feel very comfortable and looked after me well.

It’s underneath my chin, lopsided, on top of any tissue, not even near my chin bone, and they refute 2nd opinions I’ve had that there’s anything wrong with this. They also promised me a referral for a CT scan for months but keep deferring. So I’ve had to arrange these scans myself to get proof needed. Made a formal complaint and didn’t even get a written response. Independent adjudication (ISCAS) next then Small Claims. They will not take responsibility for negligence/errors so beware! Please pass on so people are aware - as this needs to be made public

I had a letter requesting me to attend an outpatients apointment for cardiology. I was unsure why and obviously I was very concerned and worried when attending the appointment. Dr Cassar was very professional and explained everything very clearly. I was not felt to feel foolish about asking questions and every question was answered in detail. I was given very good advice about nutrition and living a healthy life. I went in with trepidation but came out of the appointment extremely happy that everything had been clearly explained and my concerns had been treated with clarity in a friendly, professional manner. I was made to feel like a person that mattered.

This was my 2 nd cataract op with Mr Kamran Khan at Newmedica Leeds. I was very happy with my treatment with everyone especially Wr Kamran Khan who I can’t recommend enough, he was friendly, assuring and also the lovely nurse who looked after me after my op. Sorry I can’t remember her name but she was so caring. Anyone going for a cararact op this place is brilliant and everyone I came in contact with both times I was there I feel I couldn’t have had better. Someone calls you the following day to check that you are okay so everything perfect. Thank you all.

My son needed to have two teeth extracted prior to being fitted with braces the following month. The dentist was extremely caring - especially as the procedure proved to be quite difficult due to the large roots of the teeth being pulled. It took an hour for the first tooth to finally come out - and the dentist recommended that a second appointment be made to minimise the amount of trauma caused extracting both teeth in one go. The appointment was made while the procedure was still ongoing - which was very efficient and was a relief for my son.

Dr De Bono is a superb general clinician who views patients thoroughly, as a whole, and not just as a heart. I'm a doctor myself and this gentleman treats my father and I. I have seen him pick up on things that general clinicians missed (and I am embarrassed to say I had missed myself!). Remarkably sharp and astute chap, combined with a disarmingly pleasant interpersonal manner. He has a world class CV but is never keen to let you know it. Watching him work has informed my own practise to be honest.

My experience with Dr Sen and the OneHeartClinic has been amazing. Straightforward and thorough examination and clear follow-up. The app used is excellent, everything in one place. Dr Sen obviously uses the system well and my follow-up appointments, letters and reports were all available quickly. Coupled with the fact that they have an excellent unit at Bank in the city and also in Marylebone this really is the best cardiac care available. Cannot reccomend higher.

I recently saw Mr Shakir Hussain for a check up after he did a complex hip replacement. He was as delighted as I was to be able to walk into his consulting room pain free as previously I had to use a wheelchair to get about. I cannot thank him enough as I was first diagnosed in my local hospital and was told my hip was to stay fractured and nothing could be done. There was no way I could have a lifestyle that befits a woman of 67.

The food was enjoyable & there was a good variety which certainly helped my recovery & my room was light & very clean.
