From the very first consultation, he was incredibly informative, thorough, and patient. He took the time to explain everything in detail, answered all of our questions, and made both my husband and me feel completely reassured and confident in the plan moving forward. On the day of the surgery, his calm and caring manner immediately put us at ease. The entire team was professional, compassionate, and supportive throughout the experience. Everything went perfectly, and we felt we were in the very best hands. The aftercare has been just as outstanding. My recovery has gone so smoothly, and the healing of my stitches has been remarkable. In fact, every midwife, nurse, and doctor who has reviewed my wound since has commented that it is the best healing they have seen. I am beyond grateful for the skill, care, and kindness shown to us. I would highly recommend Mr Chin and his team to anyone needing obstetric care. Thank you again for such an amazing experience.

He has shown empathy, patience, and understanding at at every stage, taking the time to explain everything clearly and putting me at ease, even when i was petrified. What means the most is how he went above and beyond to schedule me in his busy diary in the summer months when he had holidays and conferences booked in advance and ensured i was well informed, well-supported, and never felt alone in the process. I cannot thank him enough for the dedication and compassion he has shown. His care has made an incredibly difficult time so much more manageable and i am truly grateful

All the nurses need to be able To draw blood and if after 2 attempts they haven’t managed they should get help There needs to be an About Your Stay leaflet And a video you can watch before coming in To include what drinks you can get eg Cranberry juice, what time food is brought up How to change the room temperature All the TVs should be working and easy to use No-one managed to get my drug timings correct And the bag of fluid which was meant to go up by 9pm only went up at 3am. Surgery was due at 9 am the next day. Had I not called for some pain relief, the fluid would not been hung at all The food is well below average and needs to vary Nurses should be wearing large name badges I found it very hard to be told my procedure had not worked whilst I was in the recovery room and barely awake.

When arriving at the Imagery Reception was greeted by a gentlemen who was quite abrupt in his greeting and came across rude. Like what are you doing here attitude. He passed a form to be filled in and when I was finished he noticed I had not put my Claim Number down and said if you don't give this yiu can't have the scan. I did not have the information on me at first so had to walk away, then found I had a message on my phone with the number (all details I had already given prior to this appointment) I went back to the desk the form was still lying there and I filled in the number, left the form and sat down. The gentlemen left the form on the side for 10mins before taking it and informing someone that I had arrived. I do not expect this kind of service and have had better at Bupa!

Professor Richard Field

I don't think I have ever had such a positive medical experience than I did under the careful eye of Professor Field. His humour and good nature proceed him—colleagues mention it in passing and it's true—and his skills as a surgeon have left me and everybody who knows me astonished. I was able to walk around and almost do a squats within two hours of waking up from a full anesthetic, having three incisions and bone shaved off my hip. Three weeks on, my recovery is going excellent. He surrounds himself with top tier colleagues as well. My sister had the same surgery performed on both hips 15 years ago by Prof Field and has never regretted it, and now he has another 15 years of experience on top of that.

All the staff at the Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital were wonderful. They were all friendly, and though busy always had time to give me if I needed it. They were kind, interested, professional, knowledgeable, reassuring. The only set back I experienced was administrative pre op - one letter with an appointment date that arrived 3 days after the appointment (but they had called to set it up, so I knew about it already) and one bill that I shouldn't have been sent, but when I called to query it, the lady I spoke to went out of her way to sort it out. Overall, I would thoroughly recommend this hospital and am very grateful for the care I have received.

The staff were very supportive and welcoming..hot drinks offered on arrival. Very clean bright and tidy practice. Enquired about my cysts and was seen to very quickly. The following week I had a minor operation which only took 30 minutes. Was given local anaesthetic and was reassured the whole time. Wound has healed nicely and stitches were removed in the next 7-10 days. Again very kind and gentle and happy with the results. Definitely recommend
