I booked a consultation for my daughter, Olivia P,with Mr Robert Sutcliffe on Monday 24th November 2025 at 2.00pm. With Olivia’s full consent, I handled all communication on her behalf due to her work commitments. Before the appointment, Mr Sutcliffe’s secretary contacted me to ask whether the consultation could be moved to the following week. I explained that we were due to travel abroad for three weeks to celebrate my husband’s milestone birthday. She advised she would discuss this with Mr Sutcliffe. She later called back to confirm that, in light of our circumstances, Mr Sutcliffe was happy to keep the original appointment — which he honoured. I accompanied Olivia to her consultation. Mr Sutcliffe was exceptionally thorough. He examined her carefully, explained his diagnosis with clarity and compassion, and put both of us completely at ease as he outlined the next steps. He requested a further liver function blood test, which Olivia had done at Nuffield Health Wolverhampton. I asked Nuffield Health to send the results to both Mr Sutcliffe and Olivia’s GP, which was done. Mr Sutcliffe’s secretary informed me as soon as the results were received and assured me they would be reviewed promptly. True to her word, Mr Sutcliffe reviewed the results quickly. His secretary then advised that he had no concerns and that our planned follow-up in the New Year could go ahead as arranged. I would also like to note that, as we were leaving Harborne Hospital, we happened to see Mr Sutcliffe leaving at the same time. It was clear he had come in specifically to see Olivia that day, knowing we were travelling abroad — something he was under no obligation to do. As a family, we found this gesture incredibly thoughtful and deeply appreciated it. Throughout the entire process, Mr Sutcliffe could not have been more helpful, supportive or empathetic. I am truly grateful that we can now go away on our family celebration holiday with complete peace of mind, knowing my daughter is under the care of such a capable, caring and dedicated professional. Mr Devaraj Srinivasamurthy

Brilliant, following varicose vein surgery (radio frequency ablation), very little bruising and now, 2 months on, very little scarring which is reducing every week. Mr Srinivasmurthy's method of stitches for the small cuts to remove the 'branch' veins (8 in total) were very small, his adhesive compression bandage and an elasticated stocking remained in place for 7 days as I was instructed. I also walked every hour of every waking day for that first 7 days for 10 minutes at the beginning, increasing to 30 minutes as the week progressed (a total of 40 miles!) - I felt great! When the dressings came off, my skins was quite dry so I started using my usual moisturiser over the entire leg and used Arnica Salve (from Neale's Yard, about £20 a pot. The pot look small but you only use a small amount, I feel that also helped reduce the bruising and helped me heal quicker. Mr Srinivasamurthy is exceedingly thorough, he took a detailed case history at the initial consultation and explained exactly what the procedure involved. He went through the procedure again, directly with me prior to the procedure and spoke to me like a human being during the surgery, administering additional local anaesthetic as and when required. I am truly thankful for his service and would recommend him highly.

I recently attended YGC for a hysterectomy with my consultant Mr Clerk. What a phenomenal man he really is. He has given me the best possible out come i could ask for. Even though i was late going into surgery mr Clerk did everything he could to make sure i did not miss my slot. He was present when i returned from recovery at 8pm. Explained everything to me and made sure i was ok and comfortable. Not only was he there that late but the next day returned to the ward to check on me again late evening. He was also on annual leave. Every doctor should take as much pride in their patients as he does. He is a wonderful, kind man who has done nothing but go above and beyond. I am very lucky to have been appointed him as my consultant. Thank you Mr Nick Clerk for being the very best.

I had micro-TESE surgery with Mr Alnajjar and the entire experience was exceptional. He successfully retrieved sperm for us, which has now given us the chance to move forward with IVF next year. What stood out most was how personal and reassuring his approach was. We had met him a few times before the procedure and he always made both me and my wife feel calm, confident, and fully informed. The follow-up care has been outstanding — nothing felt rushed, and every question was answered clearly. His PA and the communication throughout have also been first-class.
