Usually feedback is of a negative nature but this is not one of those occasions. My experience was awesome for which I am super grateful. I have had a number of gastroscopies in my life so was nervous about what was going to happen. From the moment of my arrival I was greeted and made to feel comfortable straight away. The pre-procedure nurses were very clear, helpful and showed huge amounts of empathy about what was going to happen. When wheeled into the operating theatre I was introduced to all of the team who were to perform the procedure, all of whom had welcoming smiles and a reassuring tone (a tone that continued throughout the procedure). Dr Alan Watson was super clear, professional and again very comforting. I knew I was in safe hands. I just had a throat spray, no sedation, so was fully aware of what was going on. One action that was performed by a nurse during the procedure was to, comfortingly, rub my shoulder. I couldn’t see who it was, but such a small, seemingly insignificant action, was hugely important to me and kept me connected with humanity during the brutal fact that I had a scope down my throat. Post procedure, I was greeted with the warm smiles again and wheeled to the recovery area where again everyone was super attentive. I can’t say thank you enough for everything. The team were awesome.

Mr McLeod is friendly, empathetic and professional and I recommend him 100%. I consulted Mr McLeod following a shoulder injury sustained from dropping my motorcycle on the race track. In describing the accident and in his examination of scans of the injury, I had complete confidence in Mr McLeod's assessment. His recommendations for treatment (which in my case was non-intervention and progressive physio) took a holistic approach, weighing up the merits of allowing natural recovery of a cracked scapula against the collateral disruption that would have been caused by intervention and repair, along with my agenda to continue as soon as possible with my choices of lifestyle activities. I am completely happy with the outcome of the consultation - I've resumed all sport and I shall be back on the race tracks again in the Spring next year. Whilst I hope not to have to see Mr McLeod again any time too soon (!), should mishap recur and shoulder injury again result, Mr McLeod will be my first port of call. The team was incredibly helpful with everything from breastfeeding support to physiotherapy guidance, ensuring that I felt confident and well looked after as a new mother. I can’t recommend Mr. Richard Scawn highly enough. Before meeting him, I had seen three other surgeons and even booked the operation twice but ended up cancelling because I didn’t feel fully confident. From my very first appointment with Richard, everything felt different. He was calm, kind, and incredibly reassuring — never pushy, never rushed — and both my husband and I instantly felt we were in safe hands. I trusted him completely, and I’m so glad I did. I’m now three weeks post–lower lid blepharoplasty and absolutely over the moon with the results. My bruising was minimal and disappeared quickly, and the scar line is genuinely impeccable. I’m 39, so my skin is still fairly young, but even with a magnifying mirror I cannot see the incision. The work Richard has done is truly amazing. If you’re considering this surgery, I would wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Richard Scawn. I couldn’t be happier with my experience or the outcome.

Overall this was a good experience, I had a combined assessment via NHS right to choose. I liked that I was seen in person for this. The wait times were much longer than initially expected however I believe there was a huge influx of patients at the same time that I was referred. The assessments themselves were good with understanding and knowledgeable assessors. The report which I have received is in depth although I did think there may be a professionals insight into the early developmental questionnaire whereas it is just copied into the report. I had a few queries about the report which I am waiting on the answer to and also have asked for it to be sent to my GP which hasn't been done yet but again, this is the lacking wait times. Apart from the wait times, the service was great and I am thankful for their help. I think my referral was made in March 2025 and I am writing this review in December 2025.

Mr Withey was recommended to me by a very experienced beauty therapist. I consulted him privately following a bad fall against a door frame which caused me to cut a deep gash above my eye. Following emergency stitching at A&E at my local NHS hospital I was left with thick and unsightly scarring on my face and unable to use one side of my facial muscle. My Withey performed surgery - finding chips of paint buried in the wound. After normal initial bruising, the wound healed very quickly and the scarring has almost vanished. 6 months later the nerves have regrown and my facial movement is normal again. I found both Mr Withey and his assistant Aleks to be extremely professional, courteous, efficient and I cannot praise his work highly enough. I would trust him to perform surgery again in the future should it ever be needed.

I had a very positive experience at my recent doctor’s appointment. The staff were attentive, friendly, and truly made me feel cared for. I was especially impressed that the doctors themselves came to the waiting area to welcome their patients (shake their hands 🤝) and personally guide them to the examination rooms — a small gesture that makes a big difference. I also appreciated that I was offered help without having to ask repeatedly, which has unfortunately been my experience at my local GP in the past. Dr Chronopoulou has been an incredible consultant for us as we underwent IVF stimulation and a frozen embryo transfer at CRGH Great Portland St Clinic (with which we are now pregnant after the first transfer). I had an urgent issue with my back and Ms. Aamina Saeed was able to book me in right away. She was incredibly professional and attentive from the moment I arrived. Her massage, cupping, and use of the power gun were all excellent, and she immediately understood where my trigger points were without me having to explain much. I felt truly cared for and in very capable hands. She is efficient, skilled, and highly knowledgeable. amazing. I had keyhole surgery for a groin hernia. I was discharged the same day with zero pain and zero discomfort and it stayed like that throughout the recovery ( and no need for any pain relief or laxatives). I was out walking the next day and moderately active ( but avoiding lifting) throughout the recover period. The hernia is now completed fixed As I said to Mr Marshall " it was as though you'd never been in there and it's been fixed my magic".

I went in for a tooth extraction today, and based on past experiences I was expecting it to be pretty unpleasant. This was completely different. The numbing injections were easy, and the actual extraction took what felt like minutes with zero pain. I’ve been home for six hours now and still haven’t needed any painkillers at all. As far as dental visits and extractions go, this was genuinely a breeze, Yasin is an absolute wizard.
