I booked a consultation for my daughter, Olivia P,with Mr Robert Sutcliffe on Monday 24th November 2025 at 2.00pm. With Olivia’s full consent, I handled all communication on her behalf due to her work commitments. Before the appointment, Mr Sutcliffe’s secretary contacted me to ask whether the consultation could be moved to the following week. I explained that we were due to travel abroad for three weeks to celebrate my husband’s milestone birthday. She advised she would discuss this with Mr Sutcliffe. She later called back to confirm that, in light of our circumstances, Mr Sutcliffe was happy to keep the original appointment — which he honoured. I accompanied Olivia to her consultation. Mr Sutcliffe was exceptionally thorough. He examined her carefully, explained his diagnosis with clarity and compassion, and put both of us completely at ease as he outlined the next steps. He requested a further liver function blood test, which Olivia had done at Nuffield Health Wolverhampton. I asked Nuffield Health to send the results to both Mr Sutcliffe and Olivia’s GP, which was done. Mr Sutcliffe’s secretary informed me as soon as the results were received and assured me they would be reviewed promptly. True to her word, Mr Sutcliffe reviewed the results quickly. His secretary then advised that he had no concerns and that our planned follow-up in the New Year could go ahead as arranged. I would also like to note that, as we were leaving Harborne Hospital, we happened to see Mr Sutcliffe leaving at the same time. It was clear he had come in specifically to see Olivia that day, knowing we were travelling abroad — something he was under no obligation to do. As a family, we found this gesture incredibly thoughtful and deeply appreciated it. Throughout the entire process, Mr Sutcliffe could not have been more helpful, supportive or empathetic. I am truly grateful that we can now go away on our family celebration holiday with complete peace of mind, knowing my daughter is under the care of such a capable, caring and dedicated professional. I underwent a total knee replacement at the beginning of October and I cannot thank Mr Gareth Stables enough for the care and reassurance he provided. From the very first consultation, he explained everything clearly and put me at ease. His support continued through every stage—the hospital stay, the operation itself, and the follow-up appointments—making what felt like a daunting journey so much easier to face. I was very nervous about the idea of being awake during the procedure, but thanks to his calm guidance, I felt safe and comfortable throughout. The relief was immediate—the arthritic pain that had troubled me for so long disappeared straight away. The only discomfort was from the operation itself, and even that was manageable with the medication provided. Recovery has been excellent. By following Mr Stables’ advice—taking pain relief as needed, keeping up with the exercises, applying ice, and resting—I’ve been able to heal well and regain confidence in my mobility. I would also like praise all the staff at Spire Cheshire Hospital for caring for me during my stay. They were brilliant!

I am at Kingsbridge Hospital for partial knee replacement surgery. Surgical Ward 1 - 28/11/2025. I am writing to express my deepest and sincere thanks for the outstanding care I am receiving during my stay at Kingsbridge Hospital, Ballykelly. The professionalism and kindness I am receiving during my care is outstanding. Sarah, Kerry, Laura & Kim (night staff) from Ward 1 have all been wonderful, nothing was any trouble and I want to thank them for going above and beyond to ensure my well being. Unfortunately, I can’t remember all the names of the staff on ward 1 when I booked in, but again these staff were amazing (Keavsa/luke). I have felt very at ease during my stay and that has come across naturally from you all. You deserve recognition for all your hard work and care you have provided. She listens, she explains, and she always makes you feel fully supported and understood. I would like to take the opportunity to thank Mr Mistry for the fantastic surgery that he performed on my right thumb. I am now pain free in the right thumb and it is in a much better position after many years of discomfort and being told nothing could be done . I could not fault my treatment from start to finish at the Spire Alexander Hospital. One thing that would just make it absolutely perfect is if in the coming months it would be possible to consider having the hand therapist attached to the Alexandra so that the procedure is started and finished at the one Hospital. Whilst MCH hand therapist we're very quick and helpful it was very difficult getting in touch with them if you had a problem with the splint etc . I do think that it would just help to make people feel a lot more secure if as I say it was all under the one Hospital.

The entire journey to replace my hip joint was expertly handled by the NTC in Kirkcaldy. From the pre op through to the day of surgery everything was explained by very polite and pleasant staff. The surgery and aftercare were excellent and I was able to return home next day . The nursing staff were excellent, attentive and very caring . All of the care from physio , OT, nursing team and theatre staff was excellent. I would recommend Mr Keenan and the NTC team to anyone needing a similar surgery. Mr Keenan has given me back the ability to walk without pain . I am indebted to his skill and the entire team for their excellent care. On Monday 1st December, at 12.30pm, I attended the ONE Ashford Hospital, for a total knee replacement. Within a short space of time I was ushered into my room, and eventually changed into a theatre gown. I was then taken to be prepared for my operation. This whole process was pleasant, reassuring, and very professional. Afterwards, I was returned to my room, and given all the attention I could wish for by the nurses, physiotherapists, and catering staff. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them, likewise for the Tuesday, when I was discharged in the afternoon.

I had an online assessment. I was very anxious first of all as i get anxious with the unkown. but was made to feel at ease by my assessor as she explained and broke down bit by bit of the assesment. I also was not rushed which made me more relaxed as I get time anxiety and I felt listened too.
