I had a very positive experience and truly appreciated how well organised all departments were. The staff across the hospital were consistently helpful, professional, caring, and welcoming during every visit. Everything was handled efficiently and in a timely manner, which gave me confidence and reassurance throughout my treatment. However, there was one aspect of my experience that left me feeling uncomfortable, and I would like to share this feedback constructively. My husband and I met with “nurse” Perry during my pre-surgery appointment (28th April 2026, around 11am), where she was responsible for reviewing my medical history and explaining the preparation and post-surgery process. While she appeared knowledgeable and confident in her role, I felt that her communication style lacked empathy and basic courtesy. At the beginning of the session she was very rude to her colleague, this was in front of us in her office. This was already showing signs of unprofessionalism. This followed with the review of my medical information on the screen very quickly, making it difficult for me to follow, then we had to ask her to repeat the information more slowly. She took this badly and it clearly annoyed her. At one point, when I asked her to repeat a question that I did not fully understand, she told me to “talk to your husband” and asked him to explain things to me in my own language (Thai). Which my husband doesn’t speak Thai. This made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected, especially that I can speak english fluently. It gave me the impression that my ability to communicate was being dismissed rather than supported. Throughout the appointment, her tone and manner made me feel anxious and uneasy. Instead of feeling reassured before surgery, I left feeling more nervous and concerned. I understand that healthcare professionals often work under pressure, but I believe that clear communication, kindness, and empathy are especially important when patients are already feeling vulnerable. I hope this feedback will be taken into consideration to help improve the patient experience in the future.

I recently visited the One Stop Breast Clinic at The London Clinic and had an outstanding experience from the moment I arrived. The clinic itself was spacious, spotless, and exceptionally well organised, creating an immediate sense of calm and confidence. There were no waiting lines at any stage, and the entire process — consultation, scans, and results — was completed in under 1.5 hours. Every member of staff I encountered, from reception to the nurses and technicians, was welcoming, gentle, and genuinely warm, with a smile on their face throughout. Their kindness and professionalism made me feel fully looked after during what could have been a stressful appointment. I was told the wrong time originally so was nill by mouth longer than needed. Ended up being sent home to come back a few hours later. Surgery was well and surgeon was incredible along with day staff. Had a sandwich when I came round from theatre. But because I'd not eaten for 24 hours I was hungry during the evening. I was told I needed to order an Uber if I was hungry by a night time nurse. I think the timings of my op was a genuine mistake and I didn't let it stress me out. But the food situation having paid all that money I found absolutely disgusting!

I needed a coronary angiogram for a congenital heart defect as found by Prof Aaron Peace after a CT scan. At every stage he explained his findings and reasons for the next step. I have now been referred for cardiac surgery and am glad I chose Prof Peace as my cardiologist as I have heard nothing but praise for him from every professional I have met. He talked my though his findings at the end of the procedure, and even came to visit me in recovery afterwards to explain it again as I had been receiving pain relief. He was excellent at every stage.
