I recently completed my final assessment with Dr Edney Boston-Griffiths through My New Self and I can honestly say the experience has been both positive and inspiring. Edney has been a consistently supportive and motivating presence throughout my journey — professional, empathetic and genuinely invested in helping me make progress. As one of the pilot participants, I had the privilege of working with a tailored team of MNS Experts — from fitness coaches to cognitive therapists — all contributing unique insight and expertise. Understandably, there were a few teething and technical issues along the way (as you’d expect from a pioneering platform in its early stages), but these never detracted from the value of the programme itself. The concept behind My New Self is truly fantastic — an integrated, evidence-based approach to wellbeing that connects mind and body in a practical, personalised way. I look forward to seeing how the team refines the video content, CRM and AI technologies to enhance delivery even further. Once these developments are in place, I would absolutely love to revisit the programme and experience its full potential. In short: a brilliant concept, an outstanding team, and a platform with enormous promise.

I was admitted to Kings Park Hospital, Stirling for my day case procedure. My experience was very positive from start to finish. The nurse who looked after me on the day was caring, informative and extremely supportive. The theatre team were also, without exception, extremely reassuring and supportive. My Consultant, Mr Payne was exceptional. He was down to earth, approachable, sincerely engaging and very pleasant at all times. He was also very reassuring, involving and informative before, during and after my procedure. He contacted me personally to deliver my results a couple of weeks after the procedure and I felt not only reassured by the good outcome, but was also confident to know that I could approach Mr Payne again at any time for follow-up, if I had any further GI issues. I would absolutely recommend Mr Payne, his Tayside team and Kings Park Hospital to anyone with similar concerns.

I was referred by my optician to see Mr Jonathan Yu, from my first consultation to being discharged from his care for my cataract surgery on both eyes, I have been delighted. He explained the process very clearly, took his time to phone me back if I had any questions, explained about the premium lenses to my complete satisfaction. The surgery went very smoothly and I recovered very quickly, I had sedation which was explained very clearly, the anaesthetists who worked with Jonathan were very reassuring. I found Jonathan Yu very friendly and very professional and the Regency Clinic and staff also very professional. I would not hesitate in recommending Jonathan Yu and the Regency Eye Clinic.

From the moment I entered the Cleveland Clinic I was aware that I had entered a centre of excellence for my partial knee replacement surgery. Mr.Dinish Nathwani put me at ease addressing my concerns and made me feel safe and secure. He set out timeliness for my goals and ambitions in regard to returning to normal fitness, which I can confirm I am achieving. I new I was in exceptionally safe hands. The whole team ie. anethiest , nurses and physio looked after me with great care. I have no hesitation in recommending patients to the Cleaveland Clinic. I had a double knee arthroscopy 4 weeks ago, I cannot find a single issue at all that could possibly be a negative in regards to my visit/procedure. The staff were absolutely amazing, the care I received was outstanding, the clinic was clean, welcoming and comfortable. Despite my reasons for being there, I think I can honestly say that I have had worse experiences on a 5* holiday than I had during my stay. I truly thank all the staff, consultants and surgeons for which, apart from the reason I was there, was a truly calm, comfortable, relaxed and exceptionally friendly time there. I honestly cannot thank them enough.

I was admitted for a segmentectomy in the lung. Dr Lawrence had explained the procedure on a Zoom call and I had the opportunity to ask any questions / think it over for when I next saw Dr Lawrence. I met with Dr. Lawrence on admission and had ample opportunity to ask my questions. The procedure went very well and the whole experience was very positive. I am now home and recovering having been given instruction on what I need to do to aid my recovery. 🙂

Excellent on all fronts. Both eyes with new NHS lenses. Quick, efficient. Great results. I’m short sighted and was offered lenses that still gave good vision for reading and moderate distance . I opted for standard lenses which give good distance vision . This does mean reading glasses are needed. I’m getting used to that, but I’m glad I can now see distance.
