I would like to take the opportunity to thank Mr Mistry for the fantastic surgery that he performed on my right thumb. I am now pain free in the right thumb and it is in a much better position after many years of discomfort and being told nothing could be done . I could not fault my treatment from start to finish at the Spire Alexander Hospital. One thing that would just make it absolutely perfect is if in the coming months it would be possible to consider having the hand therapist attached to the Alexandra so that the procedure is started and finished at the one Hospital. Whilst MCH hand therapist we're very quick and helpful it was very difficult getting in touch with them if you had a problem with the splint etc . I do think that it would just help to make people feel a lot more secure if as I say it was all under the one Hospital.

I have never used private health care before and had been quite anxious. My first meeting with Gavin Macpherson, who had been recommended to me by a neighbour, was very reassuring. He was very clear in his discussion regarding my knee: looking at the x-ray, talking about the nature of the operation and describing the aftermath of the operation. It was a very helpful and supportive meeting. Gavin came to see me in my room before the operation. I didn't recognise him at first in his surgical kit! He was friendly, kind and reassuring. The operation went smoothly. Gavin called into see me several times afterwards. He had been pleased with the operation. I am delighted as I have had little severe pain - less than I had expected, some swelling but no bruising. Ten days on I already have promising mobility!

I had micro-TESE surgery with Mr Alnajjar and the entire experience was exceptional. He successfully retrieved sperm for us, which has now given us the chance to move forward with IVF next year. What stood out most was how personal and reassuring his approach was. We had met him a few times before the procedure and he always made both me and my wife feel calm, confident, and fully informed. The follow-up care has been outstanding — nothing felt rushed, and every question was answered clearly. His PA and the communication throughout have also been first-class. A genuinely brilliant surgeon and a top professional. Highly recommended.

From first meeting with Mr Haslam he spoke so much in lay men’s vocabulary which gave me confidence in the procedure I was to have. Operation was just as had been discussed at the first meeting in July. I was told that a full knee replacement would be painful, which was true and even after eight weeks can still feel sore. Physiotherapists have been. So very helpful in my recovery. I was able to update Mr Haslam , how I was doing and thankfully he was delighted with my progress. I do realise that progress is ongoing for a while but I have been given confidence and assurance by Mr Haslam that all is going well.

It would really help to recieve more accurate information on the assessment procedure before attending. Details such as if parent remains with child, if appointment also needs a seperate parent meeting and an indicator of when diagnosis would be made. It didn’t really tie up with pdf sent on welcome email. Would be better to schedule in parent appointment at a similar time as first child assessment appointment, or/ and make it clear this is the procedure. Phoning up Harley mind care prior to attending did not help me to understand & actually conflicted with what happened at appointment.

We chose Montrose as they appeared on a lot of ‘Right to Choose’ websites and were rated by the CQC and as soon as I called Mollie and the team’s support has been superb. The charges and plans were shared upfront and were explained well. We paid to have a private Adult ADHD assessment and the speed of the booking / assessment/report/ treatment plans and meetings were quick. Communication was excellent and most of all the support was top notch and expert. We have felt very supported and very secure that we are getting the best life changing support. Mr Roushdi always has time to listen to his patients acting in a caring professional manner. He thoroughly investigate problems and acting together with the patients concerns, carefully plans and fully explains treatment options. Last year I had surgery for base of thumb arthritis and Carpal Tunnel syndrome. This was successful. However 8 weeks later I unfortunately fell and damaged my thumb! It was very reassuring to have Mr Roushdi tell me he could sort this out for me. I’ve now had my mcp joint fused. The result I’m now pain free. The first time for several years.

We checked in early, due to traffic, 20 minutes early at 13.10 for an appointment at 13.30. At 14.05 I returned to the reception desk to ask why a large number of customers had arrived after us and been seen before and the Team Lead stated that she would check for me. She came back 3-4 minutes later to notify us that the reception staff had not booked us as arrived. We were told that they were sorry and that we would be moved to the front of the line. We did not have a very good experience with you.

I brought me 4-year-old daughter to see Mr Siau because of concerns about her breathing at night. The wait for an NHS appointment was too long and not many private hospitals are able to see or treat children. I was able to get an appointment within a week with Mr Siau at Leigh Infirmary, and my daughter is now booked in for surgery. The consultation was straightforward and the process was made clear and I am glad we don't have to join the long waiting list!

He's very competent and professional - he did my i-uni partial knee replacement 11 years ago - and I have seen him a few times since? My other half had a new knee at the Holly Hospital, which is 5 minutes from where we live, by Mr. Kumar - and she was pushing me to go to him, being very happy with her result. But although it's just over an hour to get to London - because I had always felt very comfortable with Mr. N and his ability - I chose him.

Really simple to order medications. Fairly straightforward experience. The problem starts and ends when the fact that they use Royal mail for deliveries. Had I known, I would have ordered elsewhere. Royal mail consistently mess up on deliveries especially on my area, and it's impossible to get through to customers service (which is non-existent really at Royal Mail).

The day is well structured and there is a good balance of groups and downtime. The therapy team are excellent and you really build connection with the counsellors which is unique.

My initial visit was for trigger thumb release surgery. The waiting time following arrival was minimal. The bedroom was comfortable and clean. The surgery itself was amazing despite being anxious - the team were very friendly and focused on making you relax. The aftercare visit was in line with this.
