I was very lucky to have Mr Zaid Shalchi as my Physician. He is an extremely polite and very caring Eye Surgeon. While operating Mr Shalchi kept on assuring me that I am doing well. My Left Eye has improved A LOT compared to My Right Eye. In my opinion Mr Shalchi is A Great Asset for SpaMedica Bedford. My Best Wishes for Mr Zaid Shalchi. Mirza M K

It’s been 2 months since I have had LASIK surgery with Dr Hove. I couldn’t be happier with the results, Dr Hove has really changed my life. I was anxious about the surgery when I first came in for my first appointment but he explained the whole procedure to me to ease my mind, even providing me with his personal contact details in case I had any additional questions before the surgery, which I did, and he patiently responded to them all. The procedure went smoothly and was over in a matter of minutes. I didn’t feel any pain, just a few strange sensations of pressure but that’s about it. Dr Hove and the team were kind and reassuring throughout the procedure which made me feel comfortable and safe. Recovery was fast and I was able to return to normal life in just a few days, with a few precautions here and there to ensure my eyes healed perfectly. I can honestly say I highly recommend Dr Hove for LASIK procedures, I am so grateful for his skilled hands blessed by God!

My beautiful son unfortunately has multiple severe health conditions and is therefore under numerous consultants. Whilst they are incredible as was Dr Self, he gave us the (I find rare) feeling we could ask anything without feeling as though under time constraint and ensured I fully understood what I came in for prior to leaving. Also really appreciated such a warm approach to both myself as the parent but obviously Dylan.

Very professional and clear diagnosis provided by Mr Horgan in relation to my eye problem - and no pressure applied to go ahead with any unnecessary treatment for now. Would highly recommend this eye clinic.

I have acne rosacea and used to have really bad blepharitis and meibomian gland dysfunction. I used to get chalazions all the time and hot compress didn’t work! I saw an ophthalmologist and had meibomian gland probing but at 2mm and although my eyes felt better they still felt dead gritty. So I saw Robert Longhurst in Harley Street for deeper probing and wow! He was so knowledgeable and understanding and he probed at 6mm but it wasn’t at all uncomfortable like before as he used anesthetic gel. My eyes feel better than they have for years and I’ve stopped getting chslazions! Thank you so so much!

Excellent service and explanation

Dr Kasmiya operated on Cataract in both my eyes. He's an amazing doctor who really listens, shows compassion and is adept at his job. Being a young cataract patient I had lots of queries which he answered and made me comfortable and discussed suitable options. Being a high myope and after having faced early cataract, after surgery my life has completely changed for better and Dr Kasmiya deserves all credit. I'd most certainly recommend him for any eye ailments. Thanks

Ms Saw is a fantastic consultant who made an effort to go the extra mile and ensure I had a smooth procedure. My recovery post surgery has been pretty seamless, mostly due to the guidance Ms Saw gave and her willingness to answer questions and be on hand when needed.
