Ms Puja Shah is a highly experienced Clinical Optometrist and Contact Lens Specialist with over 26 years in the field of Optometry. She is based in London’s West End, where she has worked in a variety of settings, from NHS hospitals to private practices, developing a comprehensive skillset in eye care. Puja’s journey in Optometry began at a young age when she discovered the transformative impact of contact lenses on her own vision. This early experience ignited her passion for helping others achieve clearer, more comfortable vision.

She qualified with Honours in Optometry from City University in 2004 and has continued to build her expertise, specialising in advanced contact lens fitting, including for complex conditions like keratoconus. Puja is also trained in Independent Prescribing, with extensive experience in managing conditions such as dry eyes and myopia control. She is committed to ongoing education, regularly attending specialist workshops and conferences to stay at the forefront of optometric practice.

Her clinical interests sit at the intersection of specialty contact lenses, cataract co-management, and neuroplasticity-based vision training — areas where modern optometry can genuinely change a patient’s quality of life.

🔹 Specialty Contact Lenses — Fitting soft, toric, multifocal, RGP, scleral and orthokeratology (ortho-k) lenses for patients with complex refractive needs, irregular corneas, dry eye, and myopia management.
🔹 Pre- and Post-Cataract Assessments — Working alongside ophthalmology colleagues to provide thorough biometry-informed pre-operative evaluations, IOL discussion support, and structured post-operative reviews to optimise visual outcomes after surgery.
🔹 RevitalVision for Presbyopia & Amblyopia — Offering RevitalVision, a clinically validated, FDA-cleared neural training programme that improves visual acuity and contrast sensitivity in adults and children with amblyopia (“lazy eye”) and helps presbyopic patients reduce dependence on reading glasses — without surgery or drops.
🔹 Myopia Control — Evidence-based interventions including ortho-k, soft multifocal contact lenses, and lifestyle counselling to slow myopia progression in children.
