Dr Hogan is very professional and was also extremely patient and gentle when treating my baby. The overall experience of the appointment is nice and friendly. Thank you.

Thank you for writing this lovely review. It is always a pleasure to be able to help parents feel reassured about their children and babies' eye problems.
Simon Horgan gave very clear explanations at appointments before surgery and on the morning. Comprehensive literature describing details before and after sent by his office was useful. Lorraine was very helpful All the staff at Nuffield Woking were very friendly and helpful which made me feel at ease He performed amazing surgery to fully remove a dense cateract with tailored aftercare it has given me full sight back. It all felt personal seeing the same people, much appreciated

We are so pleased to hear that you felt cared for and looked after as an individual which is always our aim. Thank you for the special mention also - we are here to help.
From the first consultation I felt I was in the safe hands of a professional and am thankful that my sight is now much better again.

Wonderful to hear; thank you for taking the time to write this lovely review.
All brilliant Thanks

Great to hear, thank you.
I was a little disappointed to have a Yag which was costly and which subsequently prevented me from having a new lens implant. I wish there was a way to determine beforehand whether the blurred vision was a lens problem or simply a change in the eyesight due to ageing. The Yag made absolutely no difference.

We are very sorry to read this. There may be a mis-understanding as patients usually only have YAG laser after cataract or lens replacement surgery. We would really welcome a call from you so that we can discuss and try to resolve this.
I travelled from the Midlands to be treated by Mr Horgan and I am extremely happy with the results of my eye surgery. It was well worth the investment and travelling time to and from London. I am thankful for Mr Horgan's expertise, warmth and patience when I had any questions. Excellent from the start to end and thank you to Lorraine for her help with arranging and booking appointments. I am very grateful.

So lovely to hear that you decided to make long journeys especially to see Mr Horgan. That tells us something. Very pleased to hear that you were happy you made this decision.
Professional, courteous and kind. Took the time to explain things clearly

'Thank you for this lovely review.
I came in with a long-term condition which I have tried to manage myself with support from doctors and optometrists. The standard treatments have not worked well for me, so I booked this appointment to get some specialist, bespoke support. The advice I received was very generic (would be the first thing to come up in a Google search of my condition) and therefore I have already tried the suggested treatments. When I raised my concern about this I felt dismissed. A very perfunctory physical exam was completed and the entire appointment took less than 20 minutes. I have received better treatment from a free eye examination offered by the NHS.

I am sorry you weren't satisfied with your consultation. We always allow time for the patient to explain the problem and to examine the eyes. Some problems are chronic and difficult to cure instantly, as your case typified. With appropriate advice it can usually improve and I encouraged you to continue with the recommended treatment. As always, I ask for feedback after a few weeks so that therapy can be altered or added to if necessary.
Excellent service. The condition and the upcoming procedure was very clearly explained to me. The procedure itself was professionally delivered and the outcome was outstanding. The aftercare was also discussed in detail and a result the recovery time was minimal.

Thank you for sharing this lovely review. It means a lot to know that patients are satisfied with their treatment and outcome.
Simon is a great surgeon, the best endorsement I can give is that I recently asked him to operate on a family member.
