I have been so impressed with Mr Horgan. He made me feel like he was really invested in improving my condition and really supported me on my healthcare journey that extended way beyond my eye condition. He puts you at ease immediately and creates the perfect balance of showing empathy whilst focusing on examination and treatment. I had cataract operations on both eyes which were very successful. Before surgery Mr Horgan clearly explained lens choices, what to expect from the surgery and the aftercare. His bedside manner is reassuring and caring. The post operative care is very good with follow up phone calls before an "in person" check up.

Mr Horgan is very experience eye consultant and friendly personality

Mr Simon Horgan removed a cataract from my right eye 3 years ago and of course when my left eye required the same, I did not think twice about who I would like to consult again. Mr Horgan is a thorough professional who explains everything and to the point. I of course could clear any doubts or ask questions during my Consultation. Mr Horgan made me feel at ease before, during and after the procedure. I already had everything explained to me so knew what to expect. Mr Horgan has an amazing Team and I would in particular like to mention his Secretary Lorraine as she always goes that extra mile to make sure everything runs smoothly. I had an issue with my insurance company and she made sure it was resolved quickly so I could go ahead with the procedure. From my previous experience with Mr Horgan, I had complete faith and trusted that he would give me the correct advice suited to my condition. Mr Horgan prefers the use of Premium lenses which incur an additional charge but he decided to use the Standard lens in my case as that was best suited to me. I would recommend Mr Horgan as I felt safe in his care and knew I had the best Consultant to look after me.

Very polite and informative

My experience was great. I think my issues is where I don’t ask enough questions to know what I can do afterwards, & if can take drops for dry eyes after the treatment. Not Mr Horgan fault but my own
