Mr Ayoub explained the whole process and subsequent outcome very thoroughly and answered any questions and concerns in detail. I cannot recommend Mr Deshmukh, his colleagues and Moorfields Private Eye Hospital highly enough - the whole experience has been incredible and I am almost unable to believe the outcome - having had months of deteriorating vision while trying to get a proper diagnosis, once I attended Moorfields Private and met Mr Deshmukh I was reassured and confident that a resolution was possible. I had virtually lost the vision in one eye, and had impaired vision in the other, was unable to drive, to read and latterly to use a computer or see the television. Prior to these problems I had worn rigid contact lenses for 48 years. Following replacement lens treatment with EDOF lenses I am now able to see better than since my teenage years - I do not need glasses at all, thanks to Mr Deshmukh.

I was recommended by a friend who had the same Bilateral refractive lens replacement with Trifocal lenses that I was looking for and I am so pleased I followed that advice. Everything was explained to a super in depth degree, including videos of the actual procedure so I was fully aware of what to expect. The aftercare and follow ups were excellent and I was left in no doubt that, had there been any issues, which there weren't, everything would be managed which gave me piece of mind in making my choice of surgeon. Our eyes are so precious, it's important that you fully understand everything and you have the utmost faith in the professionals you choose. My only regret is that a phaffed around and didn't get it done years ago!

I researched many Opthalmologist when I developed PCO after having surgery elsewhere. I read that Mr Say Aun Quah had an excellent background and so I booked an appointment. He took the time to do a thorough examination of my eyes and after explaining everything to me we agreed that laser eye surgery was the only option to correct my condition. I booked in and although I was extremely nervous but he put me at ease. The laser eye surgery was totally painless and very successful. The difference in my eyesight was fantastic. This was my second consultation with Mr Ionides to discuss removal of my cataracts. As before, Mr Ionides was excellent; his explanations were clear and I felt able to ask as many questions as I wanted. I am going ahead with the operation.
