Mr Goel is very thorough and explains the treatment required. I am very impressed and satisfied with his professionalism and highly delighted with the results of my cataract operations where after over seventy years of wearing spectacles for distance I no longer need them except for reading purposes. I experienced no pain or discomfort with either operation. I would recommend Mr Goel to my family, friends and colleagues without hesitation.

Mr Gödel explained everything very carefully before the procedure and was very kind and took trouble to reassure me before the operation so that I was fully prepared, the procedure went as had been explained and after wards he explained how my vision would gradually return and not to worry if my eye seemed to be looking in a different direction - which it was, but soon returned to normal. I returned for my second procedure the following week and was quite relaxed about the whole thing as I knew exactly what would happen. My vision gradually improved and now I can see brilliantly without glasses, even being able to read texts on my mobile unaided when before everything was a blur! I would definitely recommend Mr Goel and this procedure if you are looking to improve your vision.

I can't fault Mr Sid Goel in any way. From my very first consultation to the very last, he was absolutely amazing. He explains every step, and as the patient, I never felt left in the dark. Late last year I was diagnosed with a progressive eye disease, namely Corneal Epithelial Basement Dystrophy, which was having a marked effect on all aspects of my life. I underwent Bilateral Alcohol Delamination in October 2022. The procedure was carried out by Mr Sid Goel, lead clinician with the Eye Correction Centre, UK East Division. From my first consultation/diagnosis with him, through to my discharge, I found Mr Goel to be a highly personable, knowledgeable, professional and patient clinician - extremely important qualities when one is undergoing such a stressful procedure & painful recovery. He displayed a very positive attitude throughout. The procedure was successful, and has corrected the symptoms caused by the Dystrophy. Once again I am able to undertake and enjoy all the activities that the Dystrophy had taken away from me. Thank you so much Mr Goel!

I was referred to Mr Goel by my own optician as I no longer wanted to wear glasses. From my initial phone call with his secretary to the procedure being done, my whole experience was fantastic. His secretary made me feel relaxed as I was a bit apprehensive at first. My first appointment with Mr Goel and his team was amazing. My husband and I had all our questions answered and I was informed of what would happen and what to expect. We went away to ponder over what we wanted to do and I soon decided this was an option for me. My appointments were made promptly one week apart. The nurse (Jan) who looked after me on the day of my procedure was lovely. She made me feel comfortable and put me at ease. Mr Goel is amazing and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending him and his team to anyone considering any lens replacement. Once friends and family knew I was considering this surgery, Mr Goel's name came up so many times. He was highly recommended. on the 15th July I had a very thorough eye examination with Mr Goel, he was very professional, making me feel very relaxed through the whole process. he discussed the best treatment to correct my vision & clarified the cost clearly. he told me what the procedure would be like and I felt confident that he had the skills to correct my vision. On the 10th August I was admitted to have my left eye procedure, I arrived a little apprehensive, But Mr Goel was there to reassure me, he introduced me to his team and again explained the procedure, everyone was so relaxed and friendly, I had a nurse with me all the time making sure I was ok, Mr Goel completed the procedure and explined the after care, I never felt a thing during the procedure & he was very Professional. After a few hours I could already see a great difference in my eyesight. 17th August I had my right eye done again by Mr Goel, with the same relaxed, Professional care. my follow up examinations were thorough and I can`t believe the difference in my eyesight, I can now read very small print without glasses & long distance too, Mr Goel has changed my life my successfully diagnosing my eye problems & correcting them. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is considering eye surgery.
