About Mr Sid Goel
Mr Goel graduated with his medical degree in 1996 and since then has trained and worked for over 20 years in Ophthalmology in eminent teaching centres in the UK and internationally. He has acquired a range of qualifications and memberships with specialist ophthalmic organisations.
Mr Goel has been a Consultant Ophthalmologist since 2008, working via both the NHS and private sector. He has a vast amount of experience as a cataract and refractive surgeon and also in the field of oculoplastic surgery. He has performed thousands of operations successfully and has excellent patient feedback.
Mr Goel is very well presented and published in National and International platforms with over 20 publications and 100 presentations to his credit. He has won many awards for his academic work. He is often invited to premium ophthalmology events to teach and share his experience.
Mr Goel is the clinical lead for Eye Correction Centre UK East division. His clinics are based at Grimsby, Scunthorpe, Hull & Lincoln and he serves the Humberside, Yorkshire, and Lincolnshire areas.

I have had life long poor vision and finally plucked up the courage to explore the options of corrective surgery. After being referred to Mr Goel by my optician I was pleased to hear that he could offer me the corrective surgery to hopefully enable me to have less dependence on glasses. Mr Goel spent a lot of time and effort discussing the pros and cons of the procedure which enabled me to make a fully informed decision regarding the procedures. He was patient and kind in his manner whilst answering all my questions. I had the lens replacement surgery which was successful and resulted in the most achievable outcome for my particular visual problems. The unexpected final result of having not to wear glasses at all has been life changing and I am immensely grateful everyday
Overall an extremely positive experience. Mr S Goel was extremely professional. Supported me in exploring potential treatment options; even midway through planned surgical interventions. Could not have asked for better care.
Mr Goel is every thing i would hope for and more. Professional, kind and informative, a highly skilled individual. On the next page review the ststem does not give YAG proceedure!
Mr Goel represents the very highest standards in the Medical profession. He has exceptional skills ranging from a warm/caring personality ,good communicator which instils confidence,a good team developer,who responds quickly/efficiently and the results from cataract surgery were exceptional with a calm/skilled approach in theatre/follow through performed at the highest level. An exceptional professional.
