Everyone was at all times friendly and quietly efficient. I was assessed via up to five impressive machines on the working day following my initial approach to the clinic. I had to approach the Clinic following the retirement of the consultant whom I had originally engaged, and who had agreed with my optician that I was ready for surgery. The initial examination at the Clinic was most impressive, and when Mr Chan met me shortly thereafter he was clearly able to make a quick assessment. He explained to me that the operation would be challenging, given the damaged condition of my eye, but he agreed with my decision to ask him to proceed. The pamphlets provided enabled me to have a good understanding of the nature of a cataract and the usual course of treatment before and after the operation. On the day of the procedure I approached without misgivings, and following a full discussion with a senior nurse who sought fuller details of my medical history, and then the application of anaesthetics by the anaesthetist, I proceeded to the operating theatre. It was good and very reassuring to be able to feel the area round my eye go numb in advance of entering the theatre. The operation was for me comfortable, and I enjoyed the soft verbal exchanges between Mr Chan and his staff, and the gentle and futuristic sounds of the surgical equipment. Afterwards, I have felt no discomfort from the after effects, and the post operation advice from another nurse has been very clear and helpful. And I am delighted with the outcome. After having been in effect virtually blind in my right eye, my vision is now clear, bright and colourful. Very much better that these current aspects of by “good” left eye! Well done everyone! I have visited Daniela at Sonoworld on many occasions since 2020 for various reasons / body areas to be scanned. Sometimes for routine checking and at other times, via doctor recommendation. Daniela is always very thorough, kind and her room is spotlessly clean. She has always made me feel at ease when explaining her findings. She clearly has many many years of experience and knowledge. She always goes above and beyond and has followed up with me via email and phone call, especially when she could tell that I was anxious. I have been to other Ultrasound clinics in Central London and I have always found that they are more expensive (for no better service) and more importantly, they always try to upsell more of their services, not something that I believe is appropriate when it comes to health. Daniela has seen myself and friends of mine at short notice, and I will always continue to recommend Daniela and Sonoworld to anyone who requires an ultrasound.

I have been so pleased with my experience of surgery by Dr Shilen Patel. At the first consultation he explained very clearly and in detail what my operation would entail and the possible risks, but without scaring me. This gave me a lot of confidence for the day of the operation, and the surgery went very well. When dressings were removed 10 days after my operation I was really surprised to see how neat the wound was, and it was healing nicely. I had very little pain, and Mr Patel explained to me at my follow up appointment that the tumour had been removed fully without rupturing, so there is very little chance of it returning. He had also explained how they had worked to ensure they did not damage a nearby nerve which I had been so relieved about. In conclusion, I was very pleased with the overall treatment received and with the care and respect I was shown. Thank you.

We met the excellent Mr Arthur Dalton who has known me since 2023 when he led the outstanding NHS team (which included the ICU nurses) that saved my life after a brain subarahcnoid haemorrhage and, again, in 2024, when my aneurysm needed recoiling and a flow diverting stent was also inserted . This time we sought his opinion to help us decide between two treatments for a brain meningioma, after two previous consultations at another private hospital had created confusion and anxiety,. As always, with impeccable professionalism and a warm approach, he explained the pros and cons of each procedure in relation to my particular case, allowing us to finally make the decision that suited us best. It is always deeply reassuring and an absolute joy to receive Mr Dalton’s opinion. We feel extremely lucky to have met him.

Consultant Gary and allergy specialist Rachael were incredibly friendly and attentive, putting my very worried daughter completely at ease—not like a scary doctor's visit at all. They managed the prick testing smoothly and professionally. It was very quick and efficient, with no waiting, but equally felt no hurry and could stay and chat and ask questions without ever feeling like we were outstaying. Clear follow-up advice. I had an excellent experience with Dr Bhandari. He was very attentive and took the time to genuinely listen to all of my concerns.
