I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Mr. Jonathan Collier for the exceptional care and expertise he provided during my treatment for severe maxillofacial trauma involving two broken jaws, following a serious accident. From the very beginning, Mr. Collier gave me clear, honest, and professional advice about the best possible treatment options, which gave me great confidence and reassurance. The level of care I received before, during, and after the surgery was outstanding. The surgery itself was performed with great skill, and the post-operative care was excellent. I was contacted daily by Mr. Collier’s team to check on my recovery, offer guidance, and make sure I was doing well. Their constant support meant a great deal to me. After the surgery, all the necessary medications, painkillers, and mouth-care products were thoughtfully prepared and given to me in one bag. This was extremely helpful, as I was not in a condition to go out and buy supplies myself. It allowed me to go straight home and focus entirely on my recovery. Overall, I felt genuinely cared for and supported throughout the entire process. I had a consultant review with Dr Shaikh for the re-initiation and titration of medication for a pre-existing ADHD diagnosis, and I was extremely impressed with the care I received. Dr Shaikh reviewed my previous clinical notes in a timely manner, which allowed him to offer me an initial appointment very quickly. He was attentive, professional, and took the time to fully understand my situation and reasons for seeking treatment again. He came across as highly knowledgeable and experienced in ADHD, and the discussion around medication options was clear, thorough, and informative. I felt listened to and supported throughout the consultation. Following the appointment, I received my clinic letter very quickly and was given the opportunity to suggest any amendments, which were addressed promptly. Dr Shaikh also provided a letter of support for education and employment without me having to ask, which was incredibly helpful and thoughtful. Overall, my experience with Dr Shaikh was excellent, and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking an ADHD assessment.

I received my care at the Spire Regency Hospital in Macclesfield following a unicompartmental knee replacement in November 2025, and the standard of care throughout was excellent. From recovery through to the ward, the post-operative care was consistently compassionate, professional, and attentive. Every member of staff I encountered — from nursing and medical staff to healthcare assistants, physiotherapists, and catering staff — was kind, supportive, and clearly committed to patient wellbeing. Although I didn’t manage to note everyone’s name, those I did were outstanding and a real credit to the hospital. The physiotherapy support was particularly impressive. My post-operative physiotherapist understood exactly how far my knee should be bending at each stage and struck the right balance between encouragement and reassurance. This helped me overcome the understandable mental barriers around pain and guarding, and I was given a clear and structured recovery exercise plan to follow at home.

I first saw Professor Finlay as an NHS patient in January 2025 and one of the first things he said was that he could definitely improve my heart arrhythmia and improve my quality of life. He was right. He explained everything clearly without a lot of medical jargon and listened to my concerns. He is down to earth and doesn’t sugar coat things. He has seen me regularly for consultations and carried out another procedure when it became necessary. In these days where it’s sometimes difficult to trust people, I can honestly say that I trust Professor Finlay 100% to do the very best for me. I feel great and at 82 looking forward to travelling to Cairo next month.

Dr Shaw is extremely pleasant and a great specialist. After having gone through the NHS initially to both an ENT and neurologist I was discharged from the service with little follow up or support and uncertainty as to my exact diagnosis. I continued to suffer from debilaitng symptoms including vertigo attacks and booked an initial consult with Dr Shaw. From the get go I found Dr shaw extremely easy to talk to and he takes the time to explain the potential causes etc and a management plan to treat accordingly. Talking to Dr Shaw has given me hope once again. Very throughough and one of the best drs around for vestibular issues. Would definitely reccomend.

This was my 2nd total knee replacement under Sam's care. The 1st surgery was a total success, however this 2nd surgery surpassed my expectations. Sam has a wonderfully positive and energetic approach and bedside manner, which is extremely infectious and aids a speedy recovery!!! The staff seemed very friendly and efficient in what seemed to be quite a busy little private out patient's department. I had to have quite a few test's and checks but didn't have to wait long in-between different department's. When I got to see the consultant he was very professional and explained to me exactly what my condition was, how it was affecting my vision . He then explained how he proposed to try to correct the problem, the likely time scale for the procedure, and the cost. I also felt that he was very clear to manage my expectations when the procedure does go ahead.

I had a very good follow up appointment with Mr Mullen after my total knee replacement 7 weeks. I am extremely grateful and thankful to Mr Mullen for such a positive outcome and successful postoperative result. I have made a full recovery and was able to walk well without crutches after only four weeks. I have been able to return back to the gym and continue to build on my fitness level. I am delighted to say I am not on any pain relief and infact, I am pain free. It is wonderful to be able to get back out walking and enjoy LIFE.

I have always been happy with the service and patient experience at the London Clinic. However, when I went for my MRI on a Saturday morning, MRI department was closed and there was no information about it. I had to go around the hospital to try and find out what was going on. After about an hour I was finally sent to another MRI scanner on a different floor . The clinicians there were lovely and very apologetic about the experience I had although it was not their fault.
