At first I was apprehensive but when I finally met him he was natural, and informed me about my eyes and the process of macular degeneration in a simple and direct way. I have recommended him to my GP surgery and personal friends,

Dr Hanumunthadu is always so attentive, reassuring and clearly explains everything. I never feel rushed during my appointments and feel completely at ease and reassured when I see Dr Hanumunthadu. I know I am in safe hands with him, which is much needed when it comes to eye care. It is clear to me how much Dr Hanumunthadu cares for his patients and strives to give each person his full attention. I am very glad and grateful that I have him as my opthalmologist.

Due to my condition, I have regular appointments at the clinic with Dr Daren Hanumunthadu, and my experience each time(although difficult under the circumstances) is always excellent. I feel I am receiving the very best care, with patience, genuine kindness and understanding. Dr Hanumunthadu is one of the most patient and amazing medics I have ever come across. He takes the time to listen and thoroughly explain your condition, the treatment and risks involved with surgery and post op care. He ensures you completely understand everything and answers every question, never focusing on time but giving you all his attention. I especially appreciated his explanation of each part of my surgery during the entire procedure. I would highly recommend him and thank him for all his care. He epitomises everything you would want in a medical professional.

I have been under Daren's care for 5 months. I consider myself to be very fortunate to be his patient. When he first started treating me he would call me regularly to make sure that I was OK and that I was not having any problems with my medication. For such a busy person he is always available to answer any queries. When I attend his clinic, he is always very thorough and takes the time to explain my condition and my treatment. He is extremely hard working and I have 100% confidence in him.

Daren is a great Dr/consultant who is friendly understandable and empathetic. He is knowledgeable in his field and works above and beyond his job.
