About
Mr Emeka Okaro is a consultant obstetrician and the lead clinician for benign gynaecology at St. Bartholomew's and the Royal London NHS Teaching Hospitals in London. He first qualified in medicine in 1991 from the University of Nigeria and has since become a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
Mr Okaro specialises in early pregnancy complications, pelvic pain, menstrual disorders (fibroids, polyps, polycystic ovaries), abnormal smears, endometriosis, and ovarian cysts. He has specific expertise in gynaecological ultrasonography, is a qualified diagnostic and therapeutic colposcopist, and is RCOG accredited in minimal access surgery (laparoscopic surgery).
Mr Okaro has a passion for research and is regularly asked to speak at national and worldwide conferences on the use of ultrasonography in the therapy of common gynaecological disorders. Throughout his career, he has published several research papers in both international publications and medical books.

He is a really good listener.He has a lot of patience and he is tryinf to make your visit aa good as possible. I had a problem and even if I checked it in other place they didn't find anything. MR OKaro saw from first.

I have been seeing Mr Okaro for over 4 years and have always had a very good experience. From general check-ups to surgery, he has been incredibly informative and patient in explaining everything.

Mr. Okaro explained my upcoming procedure very well during my consultation putting me at ease. Answering all the questions I had. He did an excellent job with my fibroid surgery and my scar is thin and neat. He also put the scar below my bikini line so it’s well hidden.

I have no hesitation in recommending Emeka. He is an excellent Obsterician and Gynaecologist and is well liked by patients and colleagues alike. He is an excellent communicator and as well as his private work, he is part of a team at a large London teaching hospital working with the latest innovations in care. He very kindly helped with the management of a family member and so I have personal experience of his high level of care.
