Dr Duncan Birth

We saw Dr Duncan throughout our pregnancy from Week 12 to 2 weeks post-partum.

Keith supported me through my first pregnancy and elective c-section, having been strongly recommended by a friend. I really appreciated how accessible and responsive Keith was throughout - he would reply within minutes to any WhatsApp messages, validated any concerns and offered scans etc at short notice to allay any anxiety. Keith was also patient as I considered which type of birth to pursue and helped me weigh up the pros and cons of the different options. I felt confident trusting his guidance given his wealth of experience and insightful advice. My recovery from the c-section was much better than expected and I believe that is largely due to Keith’s expertise and surgical skill. Other doctors and midwives expressed surprise at how well and how quickly my scar healed and my mobility returned very promptly with minimal pain. Keith was also as attentive post-op as he was during pregnancy. It’s worth mentioning that Keith’s secretary, Colette, is also very responsive, efficient, kind and empathetic. A big thanks to them both for such a seamless experience.

Dr Duncan provides exceptional care. He made us feel so safe, reassured and happy throughout the process, from the first appointment to the birth and beyond. We are so grateful that we can say we had a magical experience due to him, completely stress-free and enjoyable. He was always available for any questions big or small and gave clear and quick replies. Dr Duncan is a lovely person who clearly loves what he does, which alongside his incredible expertise and experience, provides such comfort. His team and particularly Colette are also so wonderful and go above and beyond to help with any requests. I had a very swift and pretty much pain- free recovery from my Caesarean and the healing of my scar has far exceeded even my most optimistic expectations, which is no doubt due to the expert hands and the great care Keith took during the op. We would not hesitate to sincerely recommend to anyone and hope to go through this journey again with Keith and his team.

I've been under Dr Duncan's care for the birth of both my daughters, and failed pregnancies in between. He and Colette have been incredibly supportive throughout our journey, and provided the reassurance that we needed during my most recent pregnancy with scans every fortnight. I had a second c-section in October, and everything went smoothly. My incision is neat, and healed quickly without issue. I really cannot recommend him enough.

I traveled from a different country to be under the care of Dr Keith Duncan and this was the best decision my husband and I made. From the very day go, Dr Duncan’s professional skills managed my pregnancy journey so well. Having had a traumatic past experience, I must say that Dr Duncan is filled with compassion and empathy. Not only is he an excellent Dr, he is an amazing human being. I would travel from miles and miles away to seek this kind of medical treatment in the future again. Thank you Dr Duncan.

Dr Duncan is a superb obstetrician. We were fortunate to be introduced to him during an open evening at the Portland Hospital, and within minutes of talking to him, I thought that he was the right fit for me during my first pregnancy. My husband and I thoroughly looked forward to each appointment with Dr Duncan during the 9 months of pregnancy; we always felt informed, cared for and safe in his hands. His qualifications and experience speak for themselves, but in addition to that he is a warm and interesting person and we always enjoyed his company, as we did that of Colette, his phenomenal secretary. We are supremely grateful for the experience with Dr Duncan and could not imagine a better one with anyone else.
