The staff were lovely, so kind and understanding which has been thoroughly appreciated. However, some frustration noted around wait times. While it is appreciated that diagnostics are a lengthy process and take time, I found issues where my assessments were delayed due to Skylight not having all the information from the forms I had already completed, and after submitting my forms I was not told that all of the information had not been received until I reached out and chased my application due to the time frames I was given being overdue. To improve this experience, more communication on what has and hasn’t been received would improve the experience and shorten some people’s wait times, as my wait time was partially increased due to lack of communication over forms I had or hadn’t filled in.

Excellent service from initial consultation through to my procedure. Having had very complex abdominal surgery 20 years ago, I was extremely apprehensive about having any further investigations on my abdomen but Mr Ismail and his team were incredibly calming and reassuring. Mr Ismail is an absolutely outstanding surgeon, managing to complete my procedure, under extremely difficult circumstances given my level of scar tissue, with barely any discomfort . The whole procedure was explained clearly to me throughout and I would not hesitate to thoroughly recommend him to anyone requiring gastric investigations/procedures. A huge thank you again to Mr Ismail and his team!

I have been coming to Hope House since being diagnosed. I have seen multiple consultants, but everyone pails into insignificance compared to Andrew. The only reason that I attended Hope House is Andrew. Andrew is friendly, compassionate. He treats his patients as friends, which immediately puts you at ease. He goes beyond normal parameters to know his patients background and whats happening in their lives. He is extremely knowledgeable, and very understanding, explains things in layman's terms. There has been a period recently where Andrew wasn't available which affected a couple of my appointments, to the point I started to research alternative clinics

Very useful. As I was anxious ,having driven from Worthing I did forget to ask Mr Anderberg about alternative medicines to relieve pain. I am taking curcumen, CBD, and have ordered chilli pepper cream . In the hope these products will help relieve pain. Also I missed completing the registration form sent with your initial letter . I am not IT ‘savie” and struggle with my I Phone and I Pad on occasions when I do not understand instructions . I have ,however on 3rd attempt, managed to print the encrypted letter you sent me today . Thank you, E.A.

My appointment was as pleasant and smooth as it could have been, the consultant i saw was extremely helpful, thorough and pleasant, i couldn’t have asked to see a nicer doctor. He talked me through and gave me the best advice moving forward. He had a thorough look and was generally very helpful and pleasant. The Spire has excellent facilities (car parking, waiting area, consulting rooms etc) and the reception staff are very attentive and helpful. The “formal check in” using an iPad is an unnecessary hurdle for patients to negotiate. The earlier system of just checking in with the receptionist was much better. My appointment with Dr. Balerdi was on time and a very useful session. Re. Dr. Balerdi himself, my very postive comments are in an earlier section.

Better signage would help. We wandered around looking for the appropriate location. There are two car parking 4 areas which doesn't help. Luckily we found a helpful Doc who took us to where we needed to be. Once there we were welcomed. I couldn't eat anything after the op, the restaurant didn't have anything for gluten, dairy and egg free patient. I feel sure they could have products on standby for the future, most vegan products would suffice.

I had the most fruitful medical experience with Dr Ong and cannot recommend and thank him highly enough. I have been dealing with new incredibly itchy skin and had seen multiple doctors who were unable to diagnose the condition. Within a few minutes Dr Ong had given me a diagnosis and treatment plan my scabies, identified the mites which he showed me, and now finally my ordeal is over and the itching is finally clearing!

Equipment is state of the art. My report came the following day. Should I need a scan again, it would my go-to clinic without doubt.
