Since having a cystectomy back in 2023 and being discharged from another hospital, my periods were terribly painful lasting 16+ days causing me a lot pain and some days I felt I was unable to cope, I was often cancelling on plans and having to bin clothing due to the heaviness of my periods. I often felt down due to the pain and felt stuck after being told by another hospital my pain was down to “exam stress” Miss Ghosh believed my pain and investigated with multiple MRI tests, blood tests and ultrasounds I then got diagnosed with Adenomyosis. Miss Ghosh also removed me of the contraceptive patch and changed me over to the mirena coil which has changed my periods. They are now much lighter and do not last any longer than one week and are much more manageable. Miss Ghosh explained thoroughly the benefits of the coil and how if anything changes I can contact her. Thank you Miss Ghosh, you have made a massive impact to me and I am very appreciative. Dr James Thing is a miracle worker—I am now walking almost completely normally for the first time in almost a year. I had a Baker's Cyst which he drained and injected. I had limped into his office, barely able to walk and I (almost) skipped out. He did a scan on my foot but wouldn't do an injection until I had an MRI. This is good medicine as he wanted to be sure he was injecting in exactly the right place, and indeed, he wanted to make sure an injection was the right thing to do (which it was). The foot is so much better. I am back to walking my normal 4 ½ -5 mile routes without much difficulty. Dr James Thing is a brilliant doctor! What I like is that you go in, he does an ultrasound to make a diagnosis, and if appropriate, he carries out the procedure there and then. No waiting for additional appointments at additional costs. Treatment and relief are immediate. That is amazing to find in this day and age.

My appointments with Dr Mallek were extremely reassuring (I went to see him with some blood pressure test results that concerned me). At the first appointment, when I was feeling most anxious, Dr Mallek listened with a thoughtful and kind approach. He took a careful history, did some tests and gave me some comfort based on this. He also recommended some extra checks, to be thorough. On receiving the results of these tests (all of which showed no evident medical problem), he provided guidance that was clear and helpful. Yesterday I had a phone call from Mr Yang who came up with a plan for my latest UTI . We had a full and informative discussion. Within 5 mons of his call I had a private prescription emailed to me and within 30 mins I had a phone call from Forbury saying my UTI vaccine was ready for collection. I went to the Forbury and the vaccine was all ready for me complete with cooling pack to keep it cold. During the afternoon I also received a very accurate clinic letter from Mr Yang and copied to my GP. All very speedy and efficient and much appreciated.
