I am a very active 51 year old man and Mr Atkinson fixed my medial meniscus tear which had been obstructing movement in my leg. After 8 weeks I am back swimming, practicing Yoga 5 times a week (all poses including deep squats and child pose) and I also started kick boxing again. I will be training jiu jitsu again in a week's time. I also climbed the stairs at Highgate tube station this week - all 100 of them - without any pain or locking. I had a very good experience with Mr Atkinson. From initial to final consultation I was very happy with the care given to me. In fact my girlfriend who is also a doctor was very impressed by Mr Atkinson's knowledge on a variety of questions she asked. He was very accommodating of her as well allowing her to talk to him on the phone and with me in my final consultation. I want to thank Mr Atkinson for putting me forward for this care, without this I would be struggling with my physical activities and now I have a new lease of life. Thank you so much.

His focus is not only on removing the cancer but also on achieving the best possible long-term quality of life for his patients. Thanks to his outstanding surgical skill and expertise, my operation was a complete success: the cancer was entirely removed with clear margins, and I have experienced no incontinence and no impairment of sexual function. I cannot recommend or thank Mr Abou-Chedid highly enough.

I visited Mr Natt this week after experiencing tightness in my throat. He took the time to ask thorough questions to understand the issue and carried out a nasal endoscopy to investigate further. Throughout the procedure, he explained everything clearly, checked that I was comfortable, and showed genuine concern for my wellbeing. When the issue became visible on the screen, he carefully explained what was happening in a way that put my mind at ease. Mr Natt was kind, professional, and attentive from start to finish. Visit was in Luton and Dunstable hospital. I have arrived early for appointment and seen straight away by nurse on duty for first checks.( hight/weight). Then Doctors Gyampoh has seen me for a verbal consultation explained process regarding my concern regarding the condition and scan on the day. After that scan took place with another Doctor. After that Dr. Gyampoh thoroughly have explained my scan,outcome, options and process going forward. Great experience thank you very much. Keep up the good work and experience with patience.

I would very highly recommend the Clayton ward. We have had two babies there and were really well looked after by kind, happy staff (doctors, midwives, assistants, catering and reception) who taught us a huge amount about how to care for a newborn. Having access to 121 support from midwives anytime day or night is just invaluable. The food was very good (for hospital food) and we genuinely looked forward to it each day - it really helped us recover as sleep deprived parents.

Overall the experience was as expected however I felt there were delays both prior to the procedure as we were contacted on the morning to request an earlier arrival and then a delay after the operation waiting for discharge medication . Having a two hour journey from/to home made it quite a long day.
