From the very first consultation, I felt listened to and taken seriously. Mr Unadkat is calm, thoughtful, and very honest in his approach. He did not overpromise or try to sell a particular outcome, but instead took time to explain what was anatomically possible and what would work best for my face longterm. Speaking with him felt relaxed and conversational, while still being clearly professional and highly knowledgeable, which immediately put me at ease. On the day of surgery and throughout the process, I felt in very safe hands. He was professional, reassuring, and clearly very experienced. At my splint removal, he explained that the surgery had gone very well and talked me through what to expect during healing. Even at that early stage, the improvement in straightness and balance was already clear, despite swelling. What I appreciated most was his conservative, considered decision making and his focus on achieving a natural, masculine result rather than anything artificial or overdone. He also took the time to answer questions honestly, including post operative concerns, which made a huge difference emotionally during recovery. Rhinoplasty can be an anxious process, and I’m grateful to have had a surgeon who combines technical expertise with empathy and clear communication. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Unadkat to anyone considering nasal surgery, particularly if they value a thoughtful, safe, and natural looking approach.

I’m writing this after having my 12-week scan yesterday, where we saw a very active little baby, something we once weren’t sure we would ever experience. After a very long IVF journey, including multiple operations due to severe endometriosis, we made the decision to switch clinics and come to Guys under Professor Khalaf’s care. He performed one final operation that resolved the recurring issue I had been facing, and now, incredibly, I’m 12 weeks pregnant. During a time when we were truly in the depths of our IVF journey, a process that can be gruelling, exhausting and emotionally overwhelming, he gave us hope when we needed it most. We will always be incredibly grateful. I cannot recommend Professor Khalaf highly enough. He is incredibly approachable, positive and reassuring, and he gave me such a boost at a time when I needed it most. Having finally decided I needed to do something about my bunion I was referred to Miss Lauren Thomson. She was clearly focused on finding the best solution to match the way I live my life, which includes walking and exercising regularly. She explained very clearly her recommended surgical approach which immediately made me feel I could trust her entirely to operate in my best interests. She spent time to explain exactly what the procedure would entail, how to prepare for it and what to expect regarding recovery. There was plenty of opportunity to ask questions. The procedure went exactly according to plan and at every step I felt very confident that Miss Thomson was doing a great job with her combination of professionalism, knowledge & experience alongside her ability to communicate and connect with me as a human being. I wish now that I had had the bunion attended to earlier as I had put up with it until the point where my right foot was virtually unshoeable and my gait was causing pain in my right knee and hip. 8 weeks after the operation I am getting back to normal activities and wearing shoes without discomfort.

I just want to put on record what an absolute gentleman Dr Gall is. His natural ability to be so genuinely empathetic to me on my initial consultation, made me feel comfortable instantly that I had chosen the right consultant to help me with my problem and subsequent surgery . There was nothing that I didn’t understand along the way as he took as much time as was needed to put my mind at ease with everything that was ahead. On the day of the procedure Dr Gall had had an exceptionally busy day and I was the last on his list but he still spent a lot of time reflecting on the surgery even after a busy clinic. He explained the findings fully with no rush to get away despite it being 9pm by then. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Gall and have already recommend him to anyone who asked as he is clearly the leading consultant for a reason.

St Giles Physiotherapy provided excellent care for my painful wrist, and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing physiotherapy in Northampton. From the outset Georgia understood my issue which meant we could maximize the appointment time for hands-on treatment. She used a variety of different techniques during the session, which made the treatment feel thorough and targeted rather than one‑dimensional. I was also given clear follow-up advice and tailored exercises to continue at home, which has really helped my recovery between appointments. Everyone I dealt with at the clinic was caring, friendly and genuinely interested in helping me, which made the whole experience feel very supportive as well as professional.

The advice I received aligned with my own independent analysis using AI tools, particularly ChatGPT, which further reinforced my confidence in both the diagnosis and the prescribed treatment plan. Dr Chopra also addressed additional concerns beyond the initial reason for my visit, offering a broader treatment approach, which I appreciated. While I understand that diagnosing multiple issues within a half-hour appointment is challenging, the consultation was helpful and provided the reassurance and confidence boost I was looking for.

So I wasn’t made ware how drastic the set up would be for my 2.5 year old toddler - actually quite a scary thing to deal with for such a small person, and had I’d known I would have managed him better leading up to it. I also had to calibrate a lead in middle of the night, and the surgical tape used did not come off easily so as you can imagine he was screaming when I was taking off the leads in the morning and there wasn’t any help with this - on his face/hair etc so it was very painful for him - it was actually horrible. Please give some ‘Eaze off’ to patients - or warn patients about this.

Lucy Clarke was recommended to me after a failed diagnosis and plastic surgery to my accident related damaged left eye lid. Lucy diagnosed the damage was to a muscle in the eyelid and her and her team carried out the surgery to correct this. The consultant was very reassuring throughout. The teams, medical and physio, came across as calm, competent and professional. The nurses and reception staff at the hospital were friendly, calm and professional not just to me, the patient, but to my wife as well. Recovery after the procedure was less daunting than I feared it would be, the pain experienced was less than I feared it might be, and the rehab process has been every bit as easy as I was told it might be. I came for a wisdom tooth extraction that was a bit more complex and I was extremely nervous but everyone was brilliant. Thank you so much to the lovely nurse who held my hand throughout and to the dental surgeon who kept me informed and as calm as she could throughout as I was in the chair for about an hour overall! Ringway is such a lovely dental practice to visit and actually very affordable with the monthly plan - and much nicer than my previous surgery which was more expensive!

My second visit to Clinic and Dr James Thing. This time for issues with ankle. Dr Thing asked questions regarding the ankle and a few exercises to ascertain problem areas and carried out ultra sound and explained this to me. Best option forward was injection which was pain free and advice on what to watch out for etc. Also recommended a follow up with podiatrist at portobello too. Great service for start to finish special mention to Luvena who was most helpful and professional.
