I had an incredibly positive experience at Delamere and I’m very grateful for my time there which has been transformative. The programme is extremely well structured and thoughtfully designed - a really well-rounded mix of therapy, group work, education and peer support. The staff are kind, dedicated and create a safe, supportive environment where real change feels possible. I want to give special thanks to Mark, my therapist, and Gary, my mentor. Their honesty and approach made a huge difference to my recovery. I felt seen, challenged in the right ways, and supported to build real clarity and confidence. I made meaningful progress and left feeling stronger, clearer and had regained hope for the future. The only area I feel could be improved is the level of psychiatric support. During my stay, patients were offered one 15-minute appointment with the psychiatrist, which felt brief especially for those with more complex mental health needs. I would have valued more collaboration and communication around medication decisions. Strengthening this aspect of care would make an already excellent programme even better. Overall, I’m extremely thankful for my time at Delamere and would definitely recommend the centre to others seeking recovery support.

My recent experience with Dr Kunle Rathod has been amazing. I had an exceptional care throughout my recent open myomectomy surgery. From my very first consultation, he demonstrated not only outstanding clinical expertise but also a level of empathy, patience and professionalism that immediately eased me. He took time to explain the diagnosis in clear and reassuring terms ensuring I fully understood the procedure and outcome. On the day of the surgery, he was calm and confident. His approach gave me great comfort. Mr Wilson is not only a fantastic surgeon, he is a fantastic man. He is very understanding, empathic and very knowledgeable. Mr Wilson has been with me throughout a very difficult journey, I had a full term stillbirth back in 2022, Mr Wilson delivered my son. I truly believe if Mr Wilson hadn’t been the consultant on call that evening then my life would look completely different now. Mr Wilson then undertook bilateral salpingectomy surgery on me to investigate fertility problems. Again I was met with compassion and empathy. I then became pregnant with my rainbow baby, the pregnancy was very difficult mentally and Mr Wilson and his secretary continuously checked in on me to ensure I had the right support and care. Mr Wilson then delivered my baby again by c-section, I was asked for my input as to how I wanted the surgery to look in terms of music, talking, atmosphere etc. Mr Wilson ensured all my wishes were adhered to and he even managed to avoid further complications which were expected. Mr Wilson is truly the best consultant and surgeon and I wouldn’t trust my life in anyone else’s hands. Thank you Mr Wilson.

Since the moment I entered the clinic I was very well taken care of. The friendliness of the staff made all potential stress go away in seconds. The procedure itself was almost pain free and if any pain was felt that was similar to when one has their blood test done. My treatment was both radiofrequency ablation as well as foam sclerotherapy on both legs. It was done literally in a flash while having a friendly relaxing chat with doctor and nurses. I was shocked when I was informed the treatment was already completed. I have been instructed about the aftercare as a reminder as I had received many emails before the treatment explaining all stages including recovery. Then I simply got out of the clinic and had a walk around the city with my husband who was also amazed how quickly it all went. Their aftercare is spot on too and you can get in touch any time you might feel concerned. It is now my fourth day after the treatment and I feel great and I am so happy that all nasty vericose veins I had are gone. I would and will recommend the clinic and the treatment to anyone struggling with vericose veins issues. Milena

I had a meniscal tear repair on 20th January. I am really disappointed and dismayed with the conflicting advice I was given regarding physiotherapy. An hour prior to surgery, Brad the physio told me I would be fully weight bearing after the operation. After the surgery a different physio told me I could not weight bear for three weeks and had me up and about practising walking on crutches. She also put a leg brace on my leg which was locked. I wasn't told to unlock it. Therefore for 2 weeks post surgery I wasn't weight bearing and movement in my knee was restricted totally. Today I had my stitches out and my first physio session. Physio told me I should have been 50% weight bearing straight away and that my leg brace should have been unlocked to allow some movement. So three conflicting pieces of advice. I am really unhappy.

I’m being treated by Naomi Murray, who closely follows the latest international research on Achilles injuries, which is very reassuring. The rehab plan has always been clear, progress has been excellent, and follow-up is very responsive whenever I have questions. Her patients’ recovery and long-term outcomes are clearly a genuine priority for her. The facilities at the Lansdowne Club are also outstanding and make a real difference to the quality of the rehabilitation. I would definitely recommend Physio Remedies.

Met Dr Maciej Danilewicz a few months ago at his Leeds office. Within 1 hour I had answers what I’ve not had for 39 years. I would highly recommend his service. Wasted years going to doctors for help. What they don’t do at your Gp is send you for a psychiatric assessment. They throw tablets at you and send you on your way. For anyone struggling with mental health I think it’s very important before taking medication to have a full psychiatric evaluation. To make sure the medication your going to get is for your condition as you may have underlying issues not just depression like I had.

A good phonecall with listening to my issues with pain, my herniated disc that caused nerve compression and neuropathic pain, listening to what I've been on and my experience, and offering good advice on an immediate uptake in a different drug and getting booked in for injections of 3 possible types and will be assessed further at the time at to which to go with our how much Duloxetine has helped beforehand. I'm also Autistic and whilst I forgot to mention I found Dr Chaudhry easy to talk to and understand without him rushing me or making me feel like I'd done anything wrong.

From my initial enquiry about Refractive Lens Replacement surgery, through my surgery and aftercare I have had excellent care from Vision Scotland. Everything was clearly explained and the surgery has left me with the desired result, 20/20 vision with no glasses needed. The only (slight) negative difference here is a greater need for good light when reading at night or close work. The procedure was pain free and I have had no complications. I am looking forward to enjoying the results for (I hope) many years to come. Thank you to all staff involved with my care.

Nev Davies was diligent in his approach to assessing the cause of my knee pain. Following X-Rays and MRI scans he diagnosed the issue and recommended a course of treatment which was 100% successful. Nev's communication is friendly and clear. All consultations were communicated back to my regular GP through clinic summary letters. I have nothing but absolute praise for Nev's work and I will certainly seek him out if I need to consult on any knee issue in the future.
