After I had my procedure and was in the room, I needed to use the toilet, but I was hooked up to a catheter. Therefore, I could not go unaided. I needed to use the toilet for a poo and was desperate to go. I used the call button and told the nurse, who said they would come back. I was left for 4 hours in agony. I was really anxious as I had been told I was not to strain, and I was doing all I could to not mess myself. This left me really upset and agitated. I did not feel cared for at that time. The breakfast was very poor and not at all palatable. The fact that you could not get in the lift without someone tapping you in is ridiculous, as you then have to search for someone to assist. Also, when I subsequently came back for my catheter removal. There were no disabled parking spaces at the front, so I had to come in the back. I was told I needed to go to the ward. So I made my way to the lift and was very dizzy and weak. My wife left me at the lift to go to the front to sign me in, and the receptionist could not have been more unhelpful and stroppy. My wife then took me up in the lift, only to be told that they would not see me until she had gone back down to the reception. The other receptionist then signed me in and was pleasant, unlike the other receptionist. Sadly, small things let you down. But when you are a patient, you feel very vulnerable, and the lack of professionalism from a member of the team makes a big impact.

We went today for our gender scan. The waiting room was lovely and was nice to have a drink and biscuit whilst waiting. We were early and went in not long after our appointment time. Once in the scan the two ladies were lovely and so friendly. Our baby was being difficult and didn’t want us to see what gender they were. They checked everything else for us and did all the measurements and checks which we were grateful for. The ladies did everything they could to not have our journey wasted. I first was sent for a wee, then a walk and a hot drink. Baby was still sitting cross legged whilst cuddling the cord so told us to go shopping and then come back. Once arriving back the lady told us to sit and wait and she’ll come get us once she could. Wasn’t waiting long and went back in. Finally was able to see our babies gender. The Ladies loved seeing our baby, laughed with us about their movements as they were active and couldn’t reassure us more that our baby was happy and healthy. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience. We didn’t have the best first experience with NHS but this had made up for it. Will forever recommend this place to friends and family.

Having consulted with another orthopefiac surgeon in march when my symptoms first started were there was no treatment suggested , Miss Umarji sent me to do MRI and RXay on the day and alíviate my symptoms by providing a steroid injection . I am very pleased she saw how important my hands were for my daily living and was not going to leave them to deteriorate any further . The rest, is my responsibility to continue with the hand exercises and antiinflamatorio diet . I highly recommend Miss Umarji .

I was recommended St Giles physiotherapy to take our Son to as he was complaining of knee pain. Claudiu diagnosed what was wrong and gave our son various exercises to do to help with the pain. Our son also had laser treatment and massages which really helped. The exercise programme we continued with at home too using a friendly app to track progress. I highly recommend St Giles physiotherapy and Claudiu.

The hospital was very clean, very friendly and very welcoming. I was shown to my room, given a menu for dinner that night as I was staying over. The staff were all very polite and attentive, even going above and beyond to get me a chocolate milkshake when the kitchen had shut. I needed an MRI scan and called Darcy Healthcare on Saturday, 27th December. They promptly scheduled my scan for the 30th. On the day of the scan, the staff were professional and friendly. The scan took about 30 minutes, and I received the results the next day, on New Year's Eve. I highly recommend Darcy Healthcare.
