Everyone was at all times friendly and quietly efficient. I was assessed via up to five impressive machines on the working day following my initial approach to the clinic. I had to approach the Clinic following the retirement of the consultant whom I had originally engaged, and who had agreed with my optician that I was ready for surgery. The initial examination at the Clinic was most impressive, and when Mr Chan met me shortly thereafter he was clearly able to make a quick assessment. He explained to me that the operation would be challenging, given the damaged condition of my eye, but he agreed with my decision to ask him to proceed. The pamphlets provided enabled me to have a good understanding of the nature of a cataract and the usual course of treatment before and after the operation. On the day of the procedure I approached without misgivings, and following a full discussion with a senior nurse who sought fuller details of my medical history, and then the application of anaesthetics by the anaesthetist, I proceeded to the operating theatre. It was good and very reassuring to be able to feel the area round my eye go numb in advance of entering the theatre. The operation was for me comfortable, and I enjoyed the soft verbal exchanges between Mr Chan and his staff, and the gentle and futuristic sounds of the surgical equipment. Afterwards, I have felt no discomfort from the after effects, and the post operation advice from another nurse has been very clear and helpful. And I am delighted with the outcome. After having been in effect virtually blind in my right eye, my vision is now clear, bright and colourful. Very much better that these current aspects of by “good” left eye! Well done everyone! Since the moment I entered the clinic I was very well taken care of. The friendliness of the staff made all potential stress go away in seconds. The procedure itself was almost pain free and if any pain was felt that was similar to when one has their blood test done. My treatment was both radiofrequency ablation as well as foam sclerotherapy on both legs. It was done literally in a flash while having a friendly relaxing chat with doctor and nurses. I was shocked when I was informed the treatment was already completed. I have been instructed about the aftercare as a reminder as I had received many emails before the treatment explaining all stages including recovery. Then I simply got out of the clinic and had a walk around the city with my husband who was also amazed how quickly it all went. Their aftercare is spot on too and you can get in touch any time you might feel concerned. It is now my fourth day after the treatment and I feel great and I am so happy that all nasty vericose veins I had are gone. Due to a complication following a Trebeculectomy, I did have some anxiety as to whether or not I would have normal sight again. Dr. Zollet was always very professional answering my questions and taking the time to explain, in terms I could understand, what outcomes were possible and the treatment he proposed. This was the follow up having had a heart pacemaker fitted on 12 December 2025. All the test results indicate the implant is working well and I have had no further incidents of the previous problems. Dr Barman explained further technical aspects of the device regarding the operation of the device during the periods of atrial fibrillation. I had trouble releasing urine, as well as blood being present in the urine. Blood would still come out after urination. A stricture in my urethra was the reason for my discomfort. Mr Varun Sahdev was able to determine that and propose various procedure options. After the operation, all my discomfort gradually disappeared, with a very significant change right after the operation.
