I wanted to share my experience with Mr Gan in the hope it helps other women who may be facing complex gynaecological surgery, including hysterectomy, or living with severe endometriosis. From the very first consultation, Mr Gan was calm, knowledgeable, and genuinely reassuring. He took the time to listen properly, never rushed my questions, and explained everything clearly and honestly — including the complexity of my condition, the reasons a hysterectomy was recommended, and what surgery would realistically involve. I always felt heard and respected, which is so important when you’re already feeling anxious and vulnerable. I underwent extensive surgery under Mr Gan’s care, including excision of deep infiltrating endometriosis and a hysterectomy. Throughout the entire process he demonstrated outstanding professionalism and expertise. He was thorough, confident, and clearly highly experienced in managing complex endometriosis cases and major gynaecological surgery. Mr Gan combines clinical excellence with genuine compassion — something that makes a huge difference to patient wellbeing. I am deeply grateful for his care and would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone facing a hysterectomy or complex gynaecological surgery for endometriosis. I was seen on time. Mr Bansal gave me plenty of time to talk and examined my knees and sent me for XRays which were swiftly carried out. On re interview I was shown my X-rays which were explained and then faced with a decision on surgery which was a little intimidating as it is major and it all seems to happen so fast and is a bit scary. At that point possibly a bit more information about what it entails and what the likelihood of success is might help although I understand the consultant can’t lead the patient as it is their own decision to make. Just a bit more chit chat around knee arthritis disease and knee surgery in general and what stage mine are at and what likely progression might look like have taken a bit of pressure off my decision which I felt was a bit hurried and therefore potentially not too well informed. However I want to stress the consultant was perfectly nice and his and the other staffs service overall was superb in an excellent environment at the hospital.. Maybe a short period of grace (say a week)could be afforded on these major decisions so that one has a chance to fully consider the ramifications. Hence my score is 4 not 5. But it is still 4 star which is very good.

I just want to put on record what an absolute gentleman Dr Gall is. His natural ability to be so genuinely empathetic to me on my initial consultation, made me feel comfortable instantly that I had chosen the right consultant to help me with my problem and subsequent surgery . There was nothing that I didn’t understand along the way as he took as much time as was needed to put my mind at ease with everything that was ahead. On the day of the procedure Dr Gall had had an exceptionally busy day and I was the last on his list but he still spent a lot of time reflecting on the surgery even after a busy clinic. He explained the findings fully with no rush to get away despite it being 9pm by then. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Gall and have already recommend him to anyone who asked as he is clearly the leading consultant for a reason.

I recently had a PFO closure operation after discovery of a congenital heart issue with Dr Aggarwal. From consultation he explained everything and made me feel valued, allowing me to ask questions freely. I felt confident in his care and this continued to the day of the operation, where any fears were alleviated. I’m pleased to say he did an amazing job! Recovery was explained and I felt comfortable to ask anything. Dr Aggarwal’s medical secretaries are also worthy of a mention - their communication, friendliness and efficiency are second to none and I have been able to contact quickly at every need. Thank you for giving me a fixed heart. If I ever needed a heart operation again (fingers crossed we will never meet again!) I would be straight to Dr Aggarwal with no hesitation. Dr Sood and his team were absolutely fantastic in the care they provided my 1 year old daughter. As a qualified paediatric nurse there was nothing more I could ask of him and his team. He explained everything perfectly so that both me and my partner (who does not have a medical background) understood perfectly. He also gave us a good understanding of all our options, detailing positives and negatives of each so we could make an informed decision on our child's care. The team have excellent attention to detail when it comes to the care of children to make even the most undesirable of tasks (like blood tests) run smoothly with the least amount if distress to parent and child. Everything was first class from reception to the nurse checks to the kind person who took me to surgery, the surgeon was nice to talk to, the team in the surgery room were efficient and kind. Back on ward the nurses were so lovely. I had a wobble (previous trauma) which unexpectedly made me emotional.
