We came to Miss Kenga Sivarajah for the birth of our first child, initially contacting her around 20 weeks before starting private care shortly after. From our very first interaction, she was exceptional. She responded to our initial email straight away and arranged a call directly with us. She explained everything clearly and we very quickly felt in safe and capable hands. Throughout the pregnancy, her care was outstanding. She was always available to answer questions, incredibly communicative and made plenty of time for us at every stage. The regular check-ins were reassuring and made us feel consistently supported. She struck the perfect balance of offering expert advice while also giving us the space to make informed decisions. It truly felt like a collaborative approach, which we really valued. She also made excellent use of the resources at King’s, including connecting us with a fantastic midwifery team. On the day itself, having that continuity of care and knowing she was there throughout made all the difference. When things became a little more complex, she remained calm, focused and reassuring, which helped us feel at ease in the moment. Her care did not stop after the birth. She continued to check in during the weeks that followed and remained available on the phone, which was incredibly reassuring during those early days. For such an important moment in our lives, we really could not have asked for better care. We would not have wanted anyone else.

The whole experience from the start of the consultation process through t the MOHS surgical procedure and after care has been nothing short of first class! Dr Vindy is a consummate professional, his experience is world class and second to none and I could not recommend him high enough. His skill care and welcoming manner was extremely reassuring and I am more than happy to attest that his patients are in the safest possible hands. While it is natural that patients undergoing MOHS treatment may be slightly anxious, I can assure that the procedure could not have gone better. Other than very minor and a few short seconds of discomfort from the anesthetic injections, the whole surgical procedure was totally comfortable and pain free. I did not require any pain relief post surgery whatsoever, and the initial recovery was smooth and comfortable throughout. Dr Vindy is a wonderful medical professional and I cannot thank him enough for taking amazing care of me, his stitching technique is a work of art, so much so, that in less than a month of recovery, friends and family commented that they were amazed and could hardly see the scar which is still recovering but is barley noticeable. Thank you Dr Vindy for the opportunity to enjoy quality of life without any concern following removal of my BCC, your skill is truly amazing and I could not be happier with the result!

Mr Mahantesh Karoshi

Treatment for a large fibroid (avoiding hysterectomy). Prior to seeing Mr Karoshi I was told by numerous gynaecologists that the treatment for my large fibroid was a total hysterectomy (a surgery that I personally wanted to avoid). Mr Karoshi listened and gave me options but didn’t push me into any decision. I ended up having an open myomectomy with Mr Karoshi at the royal free. Mr Karoshi’s communication was clear and excellent prior to my surgery and post surgery. He got back to me quickly regarding every question I had with a clear answer. He is an excellent surgeon and my scar is neat. The entire team at the royal free were outstanding. I felt safe, looked after and cared for. Before surgery I was anxious and post surgery I felt vulnerable moving but I felt I had a team of caring cheerleaders in the nurse team. The anaesthetist is some sort of wonderful medical magician and made my recovery comfortable and listened to my concerns over certain drugs. He did such an amazing job I wondered if I had actually had the surgery later that evening and I slept comfortably the first night. If you are looking for fibroid treatment and are looking to avoid a hysterectomy Mr Karoshi is your gynaecologist!

I consulted with Mr Abouzeid after 18 months waiting for the NHS to assist me in relation to my prolapse which was becoming unbearable. Mr Abouzeid was kind and caring and very gentle in his manner, which was reassuring. He explained everything going forward in his quiet and calm manner. I arranged with Mr Abouzeid to have surgery and was reassured by his manner and explanation. I agreed a date and time for my operation and although I was nervous, I felt I could trust him completely. I am now on the mend and want to share my experience. If you are seeking help for a gynecological matter, this kind and gentle man/specialist is someone who I can highly recommend. I must just add that he is supported by his PA who is a lovely lady called MARTA. She is very efficient and will always get back to you if needed. I hope this review may help others.

I came in with severe sacroiliitis. Some days would be fine… other days I’d have to work from home because I couldn’t walk to the tube station. My initial physio journey had ups and downs. I’d make some progress, feel stronger, then flare up again, and so on. James advised me that this would happen, but that sticking to the process is key. And it has been… the past two months, the sharp pain has subsided to more of a subtle ache, and I’m now back to building strength with squats, deadlifts, and lunges after months of “skipped” leg days. After my most recent appointment, we’re even reintroducing running, which has been a long term goal of mine! All appreciation to James for helping me on my journey to become pain-free, and the amazing progress we’ve made so far.

I went to the LSRI clinic last Friday to get Botox for Raynauds performed by Dr Sankaye. I have tried many treatment from acupuncture to arm strength training. Dr and his assistant were welcoming, understanding and professional throughout. Dr Sankaye did an ultrasound scan to precisely locate the neurovascular bundles in the fingers, he then did 10 injections per hand. I have had Botox for hyperhidrosis in my hands before and the pain of this treatment was nowhere near as painful! Afterwards my hands felt a little stiff but this went away in 10-15 mins. I have noticed some blood rushing to my fingers shortly after. Also, 4 days later noticed my fingers getting less sweaty! Dr told me to wait a few weeks for the full effect of the Botox, so I’m hopeful!

I attended six sessions over three months, seeing Damien for neck pain. I had had neck pain for about five months by this time. Very quickly the exercises improved the pain and I was able to sleep without waking to a 'locked' neck. Damien was friendly and professional throughout each session. I had initially been looking for a female physio as I felt more comfortable with a women when my top half is only covered by a towel. With previous sports physio, I found it hard to relax incase the towel moved. However, at ESP I wore a sports vest throughout and felt more at ease. A month on from finishing physio, I am continuing the stretches and my neck is far better. I found the receptionists friendly and helpful.

He arranged an appointment for me to have a bubble study test to check for a hole in my heart, which was then confirmed. This is something I've asked others about in the past due to having repeated TIA symptoms, but no one took me seriously. So once again, thank you so, so much for taking the time to listen to me and helping me get to the bottom of things. Highly recommend.
