The hospital was very clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. The procedure staff were particularly nice and professional. I was very happy with the procedure and the level of professionalism and also good bedside manner. One/two areas which could be improved if you are interested : 1. Pre-procedure information suggested an overall time from entry to release of approx 2hrs. With a 6pm admission time, I assumed I could arrange a collection for 8.30pm with some time to spare. However, on arrival, after approx 1hr 15mins it became apparent that the admission time of 6pm was a general time for 3 patients to be admitted and seen that evening between 6-9pm. I happened to be patient no.2, so was seen around 7.30 and released around 9, meaning I could not use the lift arranged (my wife &kids were ok til then, but not after). This then presented me with a choice of either taxi home or to ask someone at short notice to come and collect me. Had I known the range of procedure/release times in advance, I would have arranged a different, more appropriate, lift from the start. This leads to point no.2 2. I was not made aware of the choice on whether to have sedative or not. The literature states "you will be given a sedative" not that you have a choice. After the delay above, this then created a difficulty whereby if I took the sedative, I could not legally be released to an unknown taxi driver and would have to arrange another lift at short notice or not take the sedative. I opted to not take the sedative. Had I known this option was there, I could have driven myself to and from the appointment. It also would have saved my wife and kids spending time in the car on a busy evening. In connection with this, during the appointment, it sounded like release/recovery after the sedative was likely to be several hours, so release before 10-11pm was unlikely from the start and it was always probably going to be later if I took the sedative. Please don't take the above as criticism, just highlighting that making the choice on sedative clear would have allowed me to more easily plan both my transport. Also providing a bit more detail on the admission/procedure time range and release time range would have allowed me to more easily arrange appropriate transport. Basically, more information would have made things a bit easier is all

Excellent care - Cannot fault how Ms Adams and Mr Parker and their teams looked after my mother before, during and after her operation. We paid personally for the operation (~£40k) but our experience with the billing and payments and the wider admin team is in a complete mess. We had to pay up front for everything prior to admission, which was ok, but unexpected (could have been better communicated to us, rather than a sentence lost in some paperwork), and fairly sure the insurance companies which they usually deal with wouldn't do this. One of the payments/billing team then visited my mother in her hospital bed, 4 days after a major abdominal surgery and started demanding more money verbally (to be paid that evening/the next day) with no paperwork/invoice/backup). Some things weren't done as part of the operation and the Consultant messaged us to say that it should be discounted, but no adjustment has been made. I have requested detailed backup on numerous occasions, and nothing has come through. A real shame that the medical and care team have been let down by the Cleveland back office on this occasion.

I have been under the care of Miss Vicky Lee for over a year after being diagnosed with TED in July 2024. From the outset, she has been exceptionally thorough in her examinations and clearly very passionate about her work. Her explanations are always clear, factual, and easy to understand, and appointments are handled efficiently without ever feeling rushed. She is understanding and empathetic, and she is excellent at following up with appointment letters and promptly responding to any questions. Miss Lee also encouraged me to take part in a clinical trial. Although we are still in the early stages, she consistently takes the time to explain procedures and carry out thorough assessments to ensure accurate monitoring. Her approach is both consistent and highly professional, and her empathy, combined with her evident knowledge and experience in this field, is extremely reassuring. I truly feel that I am in very safe hands under her care.

Some unfortunate circumstances meant I had to change surgeons a few weeks before my surgery was booked in. This was quite unsettling and it took me a few times of meeting Dr Agha to feel comfortable. What I realise now is that whilst I was initially put off by his questioning I now realise that this was part of his thorough approach to his work and part of ensuring that I was provided with all the information. Taking so much time to explain the procedure, this risks and uncertainties and asking questions was part of a transparent approach which allowed trust building. Dr Agha changed the plan I had with my original surgeon (fleur de lis) to an extended tummy tuck and I am so happy he did. I am thrilled with the results. My scar is very thin, well placed and I had a very smooth recovery process. I would recommend Dr Agha to anyone wanting a transparent, realistic and honest surgeon who wants the best results achievable for his patients.

Grace is the most professional, knowledgeable, caring, friendliest dentist we know. She always makes us feel comfortable and truly confident in everything she says and does, she NEVER over treats us, she keeps us so well looked after. The receptionists and all Grace’s team are all extremely friendly, so lovely, and are always very supportive and polite. Myself and all my family members have ALWAYS been made to feel welcome and comfortable throughout our experiences in the practice and I would highly rate this dental practice 10/10 for excellent quality and care.

The toilets were yet again filthy. For the second time I complained. I appreciate that nothing will change, but I discussed not only with the nurse, but also with front desk that the hygiene level was very low indeed. In a private facility this is a disgrace. Further, I found that any details given on a prior visit had not updated onto the current registration form. While I came in after 6.30 pm, i have seen the awful queues for registration at earlier times. Your reception person was on his own and was also on his own on the prior visit, and the paperwork took far too long. You need more than one person on the front desk. Overall, the clinic is poor.

Mr Abou-Chedid is a phenomenal surgeon and invokes nothing but comfort and confidence. I had a robot-assisted radical prostatectomy, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Recovery was quick, and even the first week after surgery I was fully functional in every way. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Mr. Abou-Chedid or the robot-assisted radical prostatectomy procedure he performs. I haven't experienced any loss of function, but instead have experienced several improvements post-surgery (not to mention being (hopefully) free of cancer). I feel very lucky to have been connected with Mr. Abou-Chedid based on my Internet searching.

The receptionist and the nurse were lovely. However, the consultant made me feel like I wasn’t heard at all, I didn’t really get to talk about anything I wanted to talk about because every time I tried to I was cut off and told I would have to speak to someone else about that but I was confused as I was speaking about the issue I was there for. I also felt like I was penalised for my gp making a mistake and did feel very uncomfortable by the end of the consultation. Which made me quite sad as this is an issue I’ve been dealing with for a couple of years and I feel like I’m still getting no where with it.

I have suffered a particular condition for over 5 months. Dr Batty is the first medical practitioner to give me confidence that he under stood the symptoms and believed he knew how to alleviate them. Within 5 mins he had arranged for x rays and within 15 had used them to explain what needed to be done and how. Within 5 days I had a further appointment and the agreed treatment. Throughout Dr Batty was patient, decisive and professional. He listens carefully and answers in detail and using terms that are understandable to the layman. I am very grateful for his help and treatment.

It's always a pleasure to go to the dentist. She sees my husband and daughter and we never have any "dentist dread". She's patient, thoughtful, courteous and always professional. She helps me a lot with joint dysfunction in my ear and has provided me with various mouthguards over the years to help alleviate the pain. She was also excellent when whitening my teeth last year taking the time to guide me through the whole thing. Can not recommend her highly enough and we hope she's our dentist for many years to come.

As a VERY nervous dental patient, I was referred to Vermillion by my own dentist for a wisdom tooth extraction with sedation. No-one likes dental treatment, but I could not recommend Vermillion anymore than I can do, the patient experience was seamless and extremely gentle and caring. It really was! From entering the practice and the friendly receptionist, through to consultion and surgery with Dr Fiona, as well as a follow-up to assuage my anxiety of the recovery of extraction. A 5-star treatment all round.

they were very considerate considering I was terrified as once before I had to press the button. I couldn’t go through with it and I had to go to an open scanner as they were about to place me through. I had to stop them. They gave me time to recompose and got me to look backwards and upwards and out through the exposed end and that made the whole experience different can’t tell you how relieved I am to get through that. I’m highly claustrophobic so yes, the experience was a positive one.

It included an X ray scan to assess recovery in the affected area, along with a general review of the movement in my leg and ankle.
