Dr Vyas has been my son’s paediatric allergy specialist since he was 5 months old, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the care he has provided. When my son was first referred, he had severe eczema covering most of his body. The constant itching and redness meant he could barely sleep at night, and he would scratch himself until his skin was weeping and bleeding. It was an incredibly difficult time for our family. Dr Vyas was patient, thorough and incredibly attentive throughout the investigation. After carefully assessing my son’s symptoms, he identified cow’s milk as a major trigger and advised us to eliminate it from his diet. The improvement was remarkable – his eczema improved by around 80%, and his skin has continued to get better ever since. Thanks to this, he no longer needs to see a dermatologist. My son has since been diagnosed with egg, cow’s milk and peanut allergies. Dr Vyas has guided us through introducing the egg and milk ladders gradually and safely, while planning a hospital-based peanut food challenge when the time is right. His treatment plan has been well thought out and has worked exceptionally well for my son. We are incredibly grateful for Dr Vyas’s professionalism, expertise and compassionate care. He has made such a positive difference to our son’s health and quality of life, and we would highly recommend him to any family looking for an outstanding paediatric allergy specialist.

I had YAG laser surgery in the Bangor centre on Caernarfon Road to remove the film from previous cataract surgery. The whole experience from enquiry, booking, wait time (under a month from date of referral,) and actual procedure was exceptional. Staff were informative, friendly and helpful throughout. Mr Mathew's explained in very easy to understand why the procedure was needed, what was going to happen prior and during the treatment. The procedure apart from a little stinging from the eye drops was painless quick and much like an eye examination. My vision improved almost immediately and I was back to going about my day a couple of hours later and watching TV comfortably by evening. Cost wise very reasonable. Really grateful to the team for their care, I would recommend Mr Mathew's without question for this procedure.

I had a knee replacement under Sam Rajaratnam. I’m 10 days post-op so I can’t yet say that I’m hiking up and down hills again. However, going from the x-rays (which are a thing of Victorian daguerreotype beauty), he has done a beautiful job. What I can tell you is that Sam and the entire team at the Cleveland made me feel safe and listened to from the moment I arrived. I was fully informed at every stage (from timing of operation, to how I would feel, to what the pill was and why I was taking it) and never once made to feel that I was making a fuss about anything. Porters, night nurses (shout out to Moyo), day nurses (thank you Gisele), Barry, Arry and Andrea, the pharmacist, the physios… every single person who I interacted with were fantastic. Oh, and the food was excellent too!

Mr Alibhai was fantastic. His bedside manner and explanations were clear, whilst matching my level of understanding - not too complex and not patronising. He evidently is experienced and highly knowledgeable, effortlessly reeling off statistics and probabilities. He was friendly and very helpful from the first consultation, to the operation, to the post-operative review. His secretary, Lina, was also incredibly communicative and quick to assist. I cannot fault anything and would highly recommend him. I would not hesitate to contact him first in the future if I have need of on oral surgeon.

I initially went to see Charlie about an ongoing issue with shin splints injuries in both legs, during my first assessment he noticed overpronation in my ankles (which I hadn't noticed before) and recommended an ankle strengthening plan, orthotics and changing footwear. I have had issues with shin-splints since 21/22 and can honestly say that he has helped more in the last year than other professionals. Also, he has helped me to get back into running with stretches and warm ups. I go monthly for sports massages as I intend on keeping active. Can (and have) most definitley recommend.

Although necessary, I naturally wasn't thrilled at the thought of having a gastroscopy. However, I had complete confidence in Dr Hussenbux throughout, and he made the whole process feel seamless.

I recently had surgery to my left hand small finger which involved straightening it the finger under local anaesthetic. The procedure was explained and performed by Mr Karen Al -Tawil who was very professional and knowledgeable. The procedure went well and my small finger is now fully straightened and back to normal with the help of some physio. I would highly recommend Mr Karen Al-Tawil for and type of surgery that he specialises in.

I was already a patient in the QEQM ,hospital and my eyes were very fuzzy due to not being able to attend for 6 months. It’s a small little hospital but good location. Coffee cups are left about leaving a distasteful mess and odour. Found reception staff deep in conversation and made to feel intrusive for asking a question regarding upcoming surgery. Been several times and always amusing to me, that I will introduce myself, and the consultant I am here for, they will nod sagely and the ask for my name and whom I am here for.
