In January I had cataract surgery on both eyes, and opted for the Rayner Galaxy toric lenses as I needed to have my astigmatism corrected, and as an artist needed to have good near as well as distance vision as I make very detailed work. Mr. Bassily is a lovely, highly personable, smiley surgeon who will put you completely at ease. In my case this was particularly important, as the prospect of any kind of eye surgery had previously terrified me. He explained everything clearly and thoroughly, discussed all the options available and recommended which options would best suit my particular circumstances. The surgery went smoothly. I especially enjoyed the lively background music in the theatre! Mr. Bassily talked through everything as it was happening and put me completely at ease. I am delighted with my new lenses, and although they are still settling in, I have better than 20/20 vision in both eyes, and the astigmatism has been completely corrected. Colour is exactly as I would have hoped (I was afraid there might be a colour tint), the only change being I have an additional colour which I had not seen before (a violet tinge in glasses of water, in some lights) which is quite thriling! If you need cataract (or any other) eye surgery, I thoroughly recommend Mr. Bassily as a friendly and highly professional surgeon.

I had a combined ASD & ADHD appointment at Diverse Minds Clinic and am very happy with the outcome. I had to fill in several questionnaires before the appointment, and that was pretty hard. However, the sacrifice was repaid, as Dr Cappai put me at ease and understood my difficulties. For the first time, I felt heard, and it was a great experience. The service provided at Diverse Minds Clinic is impressive. They tend to reply very quickly, and staff do all they can to support you. The team has been very helpful, and they went above and beyond to help me with the forms where I was having problems. Dr Cappai also arranged to speak with me on the phone, free of charge, before my appointment, which I thought was remarkable. I will continue working with Dr Cappai during the titration period and possibly in the future. Highly recommended.

Dr Goran Ahmed has been fantastic. I have been treated under his care from receipt of my cancer diagnosis almost a year ago, throughout my chemo and various treatments and then for my mastectomy and axilla removal twice when he operated on me. In clinic his explanations are clear and concise and nothing is ever any trouble. His manner is so professional, caring, genuine and kind. I went into my appointment feeling quite worried after experiencing palpitations and fearing that something could be wrong. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and well looked after. The staff were professional, kind, and very calming. I had full blood tests, an ECG, and a heart scan as part of my visit. During the scan, everything was explained clearly, which really helped put me at ease. Being shown my heart on the screen was an unexpected but very reassuring experience. Thankfully, everything appeared to be fine. I left feeling incredibly reassured and much more relaxed.

I attended tonight for a scan of my hands with Dr Patterson. On arrival I was welcomed at reception, checked in quickly and asked to take a seat in the waiting room. Breda then came out and called me to attend the consultation room, introductions were made, and Dr Patterson then performed my scan, he was professional, and provided information relevant to my condition. The whole consultation was a pleasure and demonstrated the significance difference a private company can make to a struggling NHS. Thankyou both again for such a positive experience.

I came for a wisdom tooth extraction that was a bit more complex and I was extremely nervous but everyone was brilliant. Thank you so much to the lovely nurse who held my hand throughout and to the dental surgeon who kept me informed and as calm as she could throughout as I was in the chair for about an hour overall! Ringway is such a lovely dental practice to visit and actually very affordable with the monthly plan - and much nicer than my previous surgery which was more expensive!

The staff were friendly and kept me updated with what was happening. The only thing that I believed could have been handled slightly different was the ordering of food. Prior to my operation I was asked to choose food for after the operation and for the next day. As you would imagine the last thing I was thinking about was food. I believe the choices could have been better timed, however this doesn’t take away from the fact I was well looked after in a clean professional environment.
