My doctors are always amazing and when ive had a serious procedure they have been excellent. Only minor thing id say is once the doctor hands over to the team of nurses etc it felt as though they werent sure what to do with me. I was sent for bloods then asked to go to the main hospital then told to go to ground floor then someone else was able to sort out my appointments. When I couldve resolved a few things on the day I went, it ended up having to make appointments for everything. I was given a urine sample kit to take with me. I kinda wish my bloods and urine would have all been completed on the day as they have the facility and there was time as I sat on the chair for a few minutes before they apologised and told me id have to go to the main hospital. I think when its one thing to do, its pretty straight forward but when theres a few things to book in I was handed from one nurse to another to anothert and in the end I left having to change my appointments. They are all lovely but feels as though they are missing some direction and considering that the patient may already be a bit anxious about the visit. Otherwise its always a good experience

Mr Dalgleish was recommended to me by my physiotherapist, who had always found him to be extremely helpful. He has provided me with exemplary care. He listened very intently and sympathetically to all my symptoms, and weighed the problems very thoroughly. It was clear that he wished to give me the best possible care, while at the same time being suitably cautious and circumspect. While it had not been a given that surgery would improve my knee condition, he performed the operation meticulously, and seemed almost as delighted as I am with the great improvement that has resulted.

Dr Rouhani is knowledgeable, efficient and has an air of quiet confidence. She made the experience easy and was also very open to seeing if I had any other dermatological issues unrelated to the one I presented with, as she was happy to look at those too. Fantastic permanent staff in the unit; not always the way with other staff. Some horrendous experiences with these staff that fastened my choice to leave. Some groups were brilliant some repetitive; I don't necessarily think I've come away having learnt anything other than having a routine but my stay was short.

The only area of improvement (and this is being super critical), is that on arrival at the hospital reception, a warmer confidence building welcome would have helped with the receptionist seated or standing at head level instead of deep behind a counter.

The staff are empathetic and very helpful and you definitely don't feel as if you are wasting their time and need to get off the phone because you are holding up a queue.
