I have been very happy with my overall experience at Vision Scotland Edinburgh. The staff were both friendly and professional. I was well informed regarding my choices and the procedure. I have been thrilled with the result of the cataract surgery. I was given an appointment very soon after the referral. I would however like to let you know how I felt the experience on the day of the operation could have been improved. Firstly I was not sent the Post Op information which would have been most helpful to read before the procedure. Secondly I got very cold in theatre and was given a blanket but it did take me ages to warm up. It would have been better to have been given a blanket before the procedure started. There is a lot of cold water being used which does add to the chill. Thirdly I was not told to bring sunglasses for the journey home or to bring analogies both of which I would very much appreciated as I lived over a hour away. On the journey home I became extremely uncomfortable. Finally the roof of my mouth and tongue got a little burnt I think by the coffee as they must have been a little bit anaesthetised still when I had the coffee. The coffee however i have to say was absolutely welcome and the best thing along with the toasted teacake. I found it very reassuring to have a telephone number to call which I did use. I also very much appreciate the phone call from the nurse a couple of days post op. I hope you find the above comments of use. I do not wish to criticise as overall it was an extremely good experience and I would and have already recommended Vision Scotland. ( I did tell my neighbour to ask for a blanket!)

Thank you to Dr Kuntal just doesn’t seem enough. Having suffered for years with horrific periods and severe anemia for the past 3 years and then on top of this bowel problems all of which meant I spent over half of every month not leaving the house. The keyhole full hysterectomy has cured each problem I had. Dr Kuntal is incredible very professional and always clearly explaining the what, the why and the how. I felt so comfortable, safe and most important of all I felt listened too. Everything went like clock work with surgery and I’m now 7 week post surgery and I don’t look back. The whole experience was and has been such a positive one from start to finish and this is all thanks to Dr Kuntal. I would not think twice about recommending Dr Kuntal. Thank you for everything if I had to sum my experience up in 2 words it would be “life changing”. You are in safe hands with Dr Kuntal.

You can tell he really knows his stuff — the kind of expertise that makes you relax and think, “Ah yes, I’m in very safe hands.” Professional, thorough, and kind — with excellent outcomes to match. If you’re looking for an ENT specialist who combines skill with great bedside manner, Mr. Moraleda is an easy 5 stars. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to family and friends.

I have recently had two procedures within two months, plus outpatient appointments. All members of staff, from receptionist to nursing staff to consultants, were extremely polite, and nothing was too much trouble. I have had two separate consultants, and they were extremely knowledgeable and put me at ease, as I was quite nervous. Their secretaries were very friendly each time I rang through, and nothing was too much trouble. The outpatient department is very modern and spotless. I was very impressed and grateful that so many different eye examinations were performed on me. The in patient department is also spotless, and my meal after my operation was delicious!

I've been trying to book an initial appointment for last two weeks. I've been emailed times slot for appointment but then we're told that the time slot was taken by another patient. I've called numerous times. But there is no one picking up the phone. Emails are not responded to in timely manner either. I don't know what to think of you're services and what your staff are like because you're team are not there to take calls or email back when we need them. Will you're doctors be the same? Would it be that difficult to get a consultation with them. I'm very disappointed with your reception staff!

Dr Charlotte Frise is an excellent doctor. Despite the multiple complications I had, she had time for me even when she was off duty. She saw me through until I sailed through. I was never afraid at any point even when I couldn’t breathe and had oxygen of 80% on room air, I was motivated. Her smile was always soothing and reassuring, it felt like family. She treats patients like family and it’s heartwarming in difficult times. I begin to tear up when I express how I feel about the care she gave me. Am very impressed and grateful for her services. The NHS is blessed to have doctors like her.

Thyroid blood test. Never been before. Autistic so some challeges : a sign on door to push would have helped, it was intimidating, couldn’t get in straight away. An area with reduced lighting to wait would have reduced my overwhelm, was very close to waiting outside. Became very overwhelmed trying to explain which test I had booked, knew there was a fault on the website. Although the situation was rectified satisfactorily, it was still an overwhelming, triggering experience.

I attended the private hospital for an ultrasound and consultation, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. I was very nervous on arrival, but the staff were incredibly friendly, reassuring, and immediately put me at ease. Communication throughout was fantastic, with everything clearly explained. The facilities were modern, extremely clean, and well maintained. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend the hospital.

From start to finish I had an excellent experience at Vision Scotland Glasgow. All staff were welcoming and friendly and the physical clinic was very pleasant, modern and clean. There was some complexity with my particular clinical requirements although the clinical team (especially Neil) were very patient and thorough in helping to identify the correct solution for me. The procedure was straightforward and I am very happy with the outcome!

I came to Mr Hodges to get both my lower wisdom teeth extracted. He was diligent and recommended 3D X-rays to see how close the teeth were to the nerve. He gave great advise about which treatment was best and the surgery went very well. Post operation recovery went smoother than expected and I was back to normal after a week and a half. I would highly recommend Mr Hodges.

From arrival to leaving, staff were very friendly and helpful. I was treated respectfully and with care. I visited the facility twice this week and on the first occasion - late afternoon, there was no option for purchasing refreshments. On my second visit, which was earlier in the day, the facility to purchase drinks and snacks was open, and was very good.

My experience of Miss Pelosini was excellent. The same could not be said of the support staff when I had my eye operation. I was told that I would have my operation at about 6.00pm but in the end the operation did not commence until 7.30pm. This was compounded by the support staff totally failing to keep me informed.
