Mr Shahzad was very welcoming on the first consultation meeting. Clearly a highly experienced, knowledgeable and very easily understood consultant who painstakingly took the time to explain the procedure I was undergo and keen to answer any questions no matter how repetitive they may have sounded to him. A very kind and pleasant manner he quickly put me at ease with both a friendly, respectful nature. On the day of the procedure Mr Shahzad was quick during his rounds to allay any sense of pre-op anxiety and during the procedure he was very explanatory throughout maintaining a very encouraging dialogue with me.

Everything was explained very clearly and any questions were answered immediately. I had a vaginal hysterectomy and tidy up to deal with a prolapse. The whole process of consultation, operation and follow up was excellent. I can honestly say the procedure was painless - I kept expecting pain but there was none!
