would like to make a complaint following an IPL treatment I had on 21/01/26. I had a consultation with Dr Branka and a subsequent telephone conversation with Krupa. I repeatedly asked this whether was risk of my symptoms being exacerbated by the treatment. I was repeatedly reassured that this would not happen. I had email exchanges with Krupa where she assured me repeatedly that the greatest reaction that I would get would be mild reddening around the eye lid for 30 mins. I had explained that I had a job interview the following day and was advised that would not be any reaction or issue. I was reassured both by email and in person on the day. My skin had a significant reaction to the procedure. The possibility of such a reaction to such a procedure had never been explained or even suggested. On meeting Dr Branka post procedure, she told me that my eyes weren’t dry, and in fact were significantly better. She said the tear break up was 7 seconds and that there had been an improvement, however I would like a second opinion on this, as they feel dryer and are visibly red, whereas they were not immediately beforehand. The visibly look and feel much worse than prior to the procedure. I completely feel like I’m being fobbed off. When I said to Dr Branka that I was not made aware of the risks she cheerfully old me that I signed the consent form and that of course there is the possibility of this reaction particularly with my very think skin. I was completely unaware that I had thin skin or that there could have been such a complication which would exacerbate my skin and eye problems. I explained that had a risk of this IPL been ‘worsening of dry eye symptoms, worsening of ocular rosacea/ rosacea’ I would have NEVER had the procedure. Dr Branka just said of course there was a risk and told me it happens in those people with rosacea. This had NEVER been mentioned in the consultation prior to the procedure. My eyes were not significantly bothersome prior to the treatment, I did it as a preventative to improve the gland and to avoid the dry eye disease progressing. When I asked Dr Branka what next in terms of how I manage this now worse situation she said that I can only use cotton flannels and saline as I am reactive to most things. She has told me I need to pay privately for a dermatologist for advice. This is not only causing me health problems but costing me money to resolve this. I have already spent over £700 for the consultation with dr Branka and the procedure! I am left anxious, distressed and upset by this experience and the ongoing problems. It has caused further issues with my skin. The rosacea was not posing a problem prior to the IPL and while I had been prescribed Soolantra and Azealic acid I had not needed to take them as I was not experiencing a flare up. I do not know where to go now for help, advice or to resolve this issue. I am really upset as my eyes and skin have worsened as a result and I am left alone to deal with it or pay out for help to try to correct it. Again, to reiterate, I would never have had IPL if I had known there was any risk of worsening symptoms. This was never explained, even when I explicitly asked initially. Dr Branka from from the outset said I was a good candidate but I needed to check with a dermatologist due to family skin cancer. I had checked this and the dermatologist said it would not be a problem from the perspective of skin cancer. I would like another opinion. I would like advice treatment and next steps. Not from dr Branka as all faith has gone.

The procedure went exactly according to plan and at every step I felt very confident that Miss Thomson was doing a great job with her combination of professionalism, knowledge & experience alongside her ability to communicate and connect with me as a human being. I wish now that I had had the bunion attended to earlier as I had put up with it until the point where my right foot was virtually unshoeable and my gait was causing pain in my right knee and hip. 8 weeks after the operation I am getting back to normal activities and wearing shoes without discomfort.

Mum was almost blind wearing really thick glasses, and couldn't see at all without them. She had a few complications with her eyes but Dr Stewart and team endeavoured to give her as much sight back as possible, even if just slight. After her cataracts surgery on the 'good' eye, she is like a new woman. At nearly 78yrs old, mum doesn't need to wear her glasses for the first time since she was young. She can see clearer and further away. Close up is still difficult but we trust that after both eyes are done, and potentially glasses again with alot less prescription, she will be able to see so much better. She's had no pain or anything. The drs were brilliant and we can't thank them enough. This is the best thing to have happened to mum who was petrified to get her eyes done. She says he is the best Dr I have ever seen and I'm so happy.

I had a Teams meeting today with Angela about my nutrition, as I’m looking for ways to gain weight. She was completely non judgemental, incredibly warm, and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole conversation. She never made me feel bad about my eating habits and was very kind and understanding in the way she worked with me. She gave me really sound advice and clear, practical feedback on how I can improve things going forward, particularly around healthy weight gain. I wasn’t sure what to expect going into the meeting. I half expected to be told to cut out lots of foods and start eating things I didn’t like but instead, she took the time to understand what I like and don’t like to eat. Overall, she was extremely helpful, supportive, and approachable, and I genuinely appreciated the session. I thought she was great.

Professor Akolekar has been absolutely Fantastic at every appointment all the way throughout our pregnancy. I was really struggling with anxiety in this pregnancy following recurrent miscarriages, and I have never felt more looked after, which has really helped me to be able to enjoy this pregnancy, knowing we have a fantastic consult looking after our baby. Appointments are always on time and very detailed, time is always made to answer any questions fully and I always leave feeling confident and reassured. I went as an NHS referral for cataracts and they explained about the various options for both NHS and private. As I work full time and do a lot of computer work I decided to pay to have Rayone Galaxy toric lenses. I am so pleased with the result. After wearing glasses since early teens I am now glasses free! Mr Injarie and all the staff at the clinic were friendly and professional and made you feel at ease. Mr Injarie took time to explain everything and obviously is a brilliant surgeon. I can't thank them enough. I was so nervous about having eye surgery but from start to finish I felt in very safe hands. I would highly recommend.

Paid privately for Hip Replacement, initial appointment was disappointing with an hour wait, and a non interested surgeon. A few blips along the way, upon arrival on surgery day, they had me down for a knee replacement not hip, staff on night shift not the friendliest, and thet x rayed the incorrect hip after the surgery. Day shift were great and surgery went well. I will say I expected more for paying privately however the main thing I've had my surgery instead of the ridiculous wait time on the nhs.

Very pleased with the procedure and the outcome. Checking in and all the pre-procedure checks was a smooth and efficient process. I have no complaints at all about the procedure carried out by Dr James Hickey. The procedure was a BCC removal and required several stitches in my thigh, but I can honestly say that it was completely painless and I felt totally relaxed at all times. Dr Hickey was very good at communicating everything that he was doing before, during and after the procedure.
