I had booked an echocardiogram with a female technician, and had taken the day off work to attend, but when I arrived and asked about the female technician (to confirm), I was told that a female was not available, which was extremely disappointing. I had called twice earlier in the day (before travelling to the appointment) to confirm that a female was available, but no one in the echo department answered the phone. Further, I have been attending the Cleveland Clinic since March of last year, when I had a subarachnoid haemorrhage, and had been told that my standing request for a female echocardiogram technician had been recorded in my patient profile. The staff in the imaging department seemed to be surprised that a woman having this test would insist on a female technician, which indicated a lack of sensitivity and training, and they appeared not to know how to handle this situation. So, not only did I waste my time and lose a work day due to this oversight, but I had to cancel my follow-up cardiology consultation, and now cannot take time off work to reschedule until the new year, which has created a very stressful situation for me. In my opinion, the Cleveland Clinic should always have a female echocardiogram technician on duty, for women who are uncomfortable with a male, and the front desk staff needs much better training in this regard.

Having worked for a group of plastic surgeons in the past, I received my 1st ever botox & fillers treatment on my 50th b'day from a leading Consultant, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon, Ms Effie Katsarma. After I left the hospital/ industry, I was eager to find an aesthetic nurse practitioner who could maintain her high standard of work. My research eventually led me to Giacinto. I'm particularly fussy & wanted a medically qualified & skillful aesthetic nurse with a keen, creative eye. I knew instantly Giacinto was exceptional. He has been maintaining my ongoing botox requirements for approx the past 7/8 yrs. I've also recently had profilio & fillers for the 1st time at his Harley St practice. He never tries to upsell, is highly knowledgeable & always achieves a fantastic aesthetic result (no bruising!). He is an absolute pleasure to deal with, I trust him implicitly & wouldn't dream of going to anyone else... I highly recommend him.

My visit to Dr Paul Farrant was just as I'd hoped. I'd selected him to carry out a skin check, based on his high rating in the Brighton area from reviews I'd checked, as well as his qualifications. This was my first skin assessment ever and, at 74, was really later than it might have been! Happily nothing serious was found, but I was advised on a skin maintenance programme which i will adopt going forward. I want to age healthily, and this approach will help me do so. I will return every 2 years from now on for a regular check with Dr Farrant. Highly recommended. (He has very nice skin, by the way, which is encouraging :) :) )

We checked in early, due to traffic, 20 minutes early at 13.10 for an appointment at 13.30. At 14.05 I returned to the reception desk to ask why a large number of customers had arrived after us and been seen before and the Team Lead stated that she would check for me. She came back 3-4 minutes later to notify us that the reception staff had not booked us as arrived. We were told that they were sorry and that we would be moved to the front of the line. We did not have a very good experience with you.

I saw Mr Brown yesterday for a lower back pain problem that I have had ongoing for some years. He went through the image scan with me and explained very clearly the issues I was having, what could or could not be done and things to hopefully help. Very professional, helpful and friendly so I felt I could ask any questions. Full marks also to Tracey, Mr Brown's PA, who was very efficient and helpful in all aspects of the booking and paperwork submitted afterwards.

I am extremely fortunate to have Dr Davar to look after me as my Cardiologist. He always shows professionalism, with total care and concern for my health and well being. He is a Doctor of phenomenal diagnostic ability and a medical practitioner that the London cardiac community is extremely lucky to have. I cannot recommend Dr Davar highly enough other than to say whoever uses his medical care is truly lucky to be cared for by him. I owe my life to this man!

The audiologist was very helpful and gave me a referral letter to see the Doctor and once the infection has cleared I could return to complete the wax removal . From the consultation to the end results, Mr Mohan was professional and responsive. He has a skill of recognising what needs to be done for my frame and body shape. I no longer have loose skin and have a flat tummy (wearing size 8-10!). The opportunity to have two consultants operating in their expert fields meant I got the best results. As always the Cleveland Clinic makes all medical situations as pleasant as possible …every question I had was answered completely and fully in “layman’s” terms.. It is reassuring to be a patient at The Cleveland Clinic.
