In June 2025 my wife's Bladder Diverticulum effectively perforated. She was in severe pain, initially being cared for at the PRUH in Farnborough where she was kept for almost 3 weeks. During that time, the Urology team were unable to correctly treat her perforation thinking that it had healed when it had not. This resulted in her contracting Sepsis and needing a catheter for almost 5 months. We sought further help privately, which is when we were introduced to Mr Arun Sahai. He was a breath of fresh air. He carefully and actively listened to exactly what my wife had been through over the previous few months (which included contracting Sepsis in hospital). He immediately put both herself and me at ease and gave us the confidence he would be able to fix her. Mr Sahai operated on her and it went perfectly, with the diverticulum being successfully removed. She is now catheter free and living a normal life. This is all down to Mr Sahai. He essentially saved her life and has enabled us to get our lives back on track. We cannot thank him enough and recommend him extremely highly, he is a master in his field. He also has a calm and informal bedside manner, explains things in plain English and is extremely approachable.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Honestly blown away by this service I’m nearly 80 now, and I can’t even count how many doctor visits I’ve had in my life, but MyDoctor by Northern Health honestly left me a bit blown away. The initial consultation was an evening appointment and I considered it to be expensive. The consultants fee (Dr Kadhim) was £250 (equating to £1000 per hour) Administration fee £35 (for what) and an e.c.g which took all of 5 minutes was £111. Total £396. I was promised by the consultant that Cardioversion would happen before my holiday in mid December but received excuses from admin staff why this could not happen. I kept pestering and eventually received notice at 3.00pm the day before that Cardioversion would occur at 07.30 the following morning. The actual Cardioversion went without hitch, the consultant Dr Menown and his staff were excellent, facilities were good, food was ample and all went well. So do not take no for an answer.

The toilets were yet again filthy. For the second time I complained. I appreciate that nothing will change, but I discussed not only with the nurse, but also with front desk that the hygiene level was very low indeed. In a private facility this is a disgrace. Further, I found that any details given on a prior visit had not updated onto the current registration form. While I came in after 6.30 pm, i have seen the awful queues for registration at earlier times. Your reception person was on his own and was also on his own on the prior visit, and the paperwork took far too long. You need more than one person on the front desk. Overall, the clinic is poor.
