Dr Adam Friedmann

Dr Alan Friedman is an incredibly knowledgeable and safe pair of hands to be in while dealing with your skin concerns. I have been treated and cared for by Dr Friedman for over a year now and have had the very best service from him at Pro Derma. I am a big worrier and get very anxious about the various skin lesions that have surfaced in recent years from years of ill-educated sun protection practices in the 1970’s. Dr Friedman has a lovely reassuring manner which is so welcome when you’re concerned about your skin patches and bumps. He takes great care to talk to you to understand your concerns, he thoroughly checks out all the areas and will advise carefully of all the treatment options that are available to you. He has treated me on the spot for a few unhappy skin patches, all of which have responded positively and vanished completely. I saw him today for what has been found to be a group of solar keratoses on my forehead. After a quick treatment of cryotherapy I am delighted that these areas have been treated so efficiently. Just knowing of someone who is so skilled with such vast knowledge is so important. Dr Friedman has been my calm and capable hero and I highly recommend him.

Dr. Friedman is an exceptionally polite, empathetic, and understanding professional who genuinely listens to what you say about any medical concerns you might have. The clinic provides an excellent level of service throughout the entire process. I went to see him specifically for the removal of a wart on my face, the treated areas have all completely healed, and I can barely see any remaining scars. Additionally, everything in the clinic is meticulously clean and tidy, the facility is fully disabled accessible, and the environment is made even better by the nice, friendly staff.

I first encountered Dr Adam Friedmann about ten years ago, when I had a worrying lesion on my scalp. Although I tend towards health anxiety anyway, my GP referred me to an NHS dermatologist with a date far in the future, so I was rather concerned. I searched the Web for London Dermatologists and rapidly selected Dr Friedmann for his truly excellent knowledge and experience. I was not disappointed, he gave me a very swift appointment, and I have been truly pleased with my various consultations with him over the following years. In the case of the scalp lesion, he gave me plenty of time, his manner was delightful and reassuring, and he took a biopsy during the same appointment. He kindly phoned me a few days later to report that the lesion was benign. My subsequent consultation with him have been for lesions on the face (solar keratosis) and on the upper chest; both of which Dr Friedmann froze off using liquid nitrogen (cryotherapy). He is certainly my strongly preferred expert, even though I live 70 miles away from his Harley Street practice. I should add that his charges are surprisingly reasonable for a Harley Street doctor. Very highly recommended.

Having had skin problems for most of my adult life, it was such a relief to find Dr Friedmann when I moved to London around 10 years ago. During that time he’s helped me successfully manage various skin conditions and flare ups - both in person and via email whenever needed. He has deep expertise, truly listens and really understands the impact that skin conditions have on your overall wellbeing. He takes time to explain everything clearly and I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a first class dermatologist.

The experiences my family and I have had with Dr. Friedman at ProDerm, have always been of the utmost highest quality. The advice he has given us, for a variety of skin-related conditions have resulted in the most speedy and comprehensive resolution of the problems presented. Saw Dr Friedmann regarding persistent acne on the face. Made time to see me in the office even after I was late for my appointment to see my skin and then I had an online appointment to follow up. Very knowledgeable of treatments, side effects and gave me several options to choose from for which I preferred. Always efficient and precise with prescriptions, consultations and queries and always made me feel at ease. At the moment am 1 month post treatment and skin is still all clear.

I have been a patient of Dr Friedmann for almost ten years now and followed him across to the ProDerm clinic. Honestly he is a godsend. He has helped enormously getting my adult acne/rosacea under control, with a pragmatic approach to trying various courses of medication until we found one that worked. I especially appreciate that he encourages communication and updates by email as I can’t always find time to come into the clinic and the ability to check in with him or send him progress photos is something precious practitioners haven’t been on board with.
