The last four years have been incredibly difficult for my son and our family. He has been suffering with symptoms that no one seemed able to explain. My son was waking at 2am, 4am, and 5am crying, attacking himself, and not sleeping at all. It was heartbreaking to watch and exhausting for our whole family. Eventually I reached a point where enough was enough, and I started searching for help myself. That’s when I found Professor Mike Thomson, and I can honestly say he has been a Godsend. Professor Thomson was incredibly patient, kind, and friendly. My son is autistic and non-verbal, but he listened carefully to everything we said and took us seriously from the start. He immediately arranged for a scan and prescribed medication for my son’s gut. Seeing my child finally sleep through the night – after years of pain, tantrums, and self-harm – is something every parent dreams of. I truly cannot recommend Professor Mike Thomson enough. He is caring, knowledgeable, patient, and understanding. From the moment you meet him, you feel like you are in safe hands and receiving the very best care. His team are just as wonderful – always helpful and responsive on emails, and very supportive with referrals and follow-ups. I only wish I had found him years ago. I had a deep plane facelift and lip lift on 23rd January 2026 performed by Taimur Shoaib l chose this surgeon because l had a previous successful upper blepharoplasty plus he listened and advised on what was best during filler and Botox appointments in the past, l don’t think you can put a price on the value of trust when it comes to face surgery. Right from the first consultation he could see all the things l could see that needed correcting and talked me through the realistic expectations and possible risks , I was given time to think it over no sales pitch or rush, l had options of having surgery in Glasgow or London. Melania who organised things would answer any questions within hours to put my mind at rest. I opted for Glasgow the staff and nurses were so friendly they made me forget to be nervous going into surgery l want to make a special point of saying as a tattooed person he has done remarkably well at not disturbing any artwork that could be saved without compromising the lift and also took out an old chin implant which l requested during surgery (not done by him) that never sat very well at no extra cost. It’s been nearly 8 weeks now and although l am advised to wait a few months to get the final results l can already see how great my new snatched jawline is.

I saw Mr Sundaram at Winfield Hospital (Ramsay Healthcare) through my private medical insurance. From my very first appointment, the entire pathway was superb. Reception were warm and efficient; pre-assessment was exemplary, especially Nurse Laura, whose calm and knowledgeable manner was truly commendable. Bookings were smooth and supportive. The ward nurses were attentive and compassionate. The anaesthetists were reassuring and meticulous. Carol in recovery was kind, vigilant, and encouraging. Mr Sundaram himself is an honest and highly skilled surgeon who consistently offered clear, professional advice. I underwent an L4/5 discectomy and decompression for disc herniation. I also had a smaller L5/S1 herniation, which he advised leaving alone because operating would carry a higher risk of harm; that integrity meant more than offering an unnecessary procedure. Six weeks after surgery, my outpatient wound checks were handled with care by Nurses Dianne and Sarah, who clearly cared about my wellbeing. The physiotherapy team has been outstanding; Fiona and Mary have been absolute angels. I am now walking without pain, rebuilding strength, and getting my life back. I cannot recommend Mr Sundaram and the entire Winfield team highly enough.

When I received my breast cancer diagnosis, I left the hospital overwhelmed and with more questions than answers. I had been told it would be a number of weeks before I spoke to an oncologist and this is when I initially reached out to Professor Wardley. We were able to arrange an online appointment for the next day. What helped wasn’t just more information, it was someone taking the time to listen to my concerns and provide straightforward answers. His approach was human and action oriented. My case has been far from straightforward, but Professor Wardley has consistently provided clear information, real support and structure at points of uncertainty. What has made the biggest difference is working with someone who has been willing to advocate for me to receive the highest possible standard of care.

Mr Amir-Reza Jenabzadeh

I would thoroughly recommend Mr Jenabzadeh for knee operations. During the pre-op consultations his professional and friendly approach made me feel completely at ease with the planned procedure. He later carried out a partial replacement operation on my right knee at One Hatfield, and the procedure was a complete success. I am extremely satisfied with both the outcome of the surgery and the care I received before and after the operation from Mr Jenabzadeh and the staff at One Hatfield. Following the operation, Mr Jenabzadeh advises attending physiotherapy sessions to regain full mobility and strengthen the surrounding muscles. This has played an important part in helping me restore movement, strength, and confidence in the joint.

He took the time to explain every step of the process clearly, which immediately made me feel safe and confident in his care. The procedure itself was completed within a day, and throughout my recovery I felt completely supported. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care made an enormous difference during what could have been a very daunting experience. Professor Reena Sidhu

Professor Sidhu was very thorough in her investigations and diagnostics and explained everything fully. She also followed through in what she agreed from the start. Whilst GI medicine is not the cause of my problems she has made sure that I have been fully investigated and also that ensured I have received appropriate treatment. I am just waiting for a copy of the letter summarising her investigations and treatment. If anything I would say this is an area that could be improved - the follow up letters have yet to appear and these are important for patients as well as GP’s to have for their records. Overall I would absolutely recommend Professor Sidhu whom is not only an expert but also professional and personable.

I cannot rate Mr Singhal highly enough. Not only did he save my life after a bowel perforation due to cancer, but he's been kind, compassionate and empathetic every step of the way. I feel extremely safe in Mr Singhal's care and I wish that every bowel cancer patient could benefit from his vast experience and expertise. Mr Singhal takes the time to explain complex medical situations and procedures and is never dismissive or patronising, as is sometimes the case with consultants. He has always treated me and my partner with a very high level of respect and understanding. I consider myself lucky to be his patient and will likely be undergoing further surgery with Mr Singhal in the future.

I will rate our experience 9 out of 10 over all There has been tremendous levels of professionalism and support throughout our journey since early 2025. The accuracy and dedication to do their job I have never experienced on my 10 years IVF journey moving from country to country. In person one was really unusual. The tasks seemed strange. I felt I have to explain why I thought I was autistic rather than them investigating if I am. I didn’t like at the end where he said I showed traits but not enough to affect my life. I felt really of put by that as I do struggle but learnt how to deal with it over the years. The assessor I spoke to online explained it’s not just him that makes the conclusion and he settled me and really got to know me. Asking me a lots of questions about me. End of story I am autistic. Deniz Birley is excellent. She was able to diagnose my injury quickly. Her treatment was very effective. She then demonstrated to me which strengthening exercises to continue with in order to accelerate my recovery. She fine tuned the exercises in subsequent visits. My injury is 100% resolved.
