We made contact with Mr Sabatini after 3 failed IVF rounds, undergone in a well known IVF clinic in our local area. Mr Sabatini was recommended to us by another Obs and Gyne doctor, as our main reason for infertility was due to a male factor (my husband is a Cystic Fibrosis Carrier) . From the very first email, Preet (Mr Sabatini’s secretary) was approachable and very kind. We started our IVF journey with them in September 2024. He showed us compassion and knowledge from the first follow up, he knew the problems we have been facing and he gave us clear options and a plan of care. There is never a straight answer with IVF, but we felt reassured and understood by him. He gave us hope but he was always very honest with us. During the whole process, he recommended Karyotype testing for both me and my husband, blood tests and investigations, to understand better our situation. We always had the choice to get this tests done where he recommended or to other clinics of our choice. We felt accompanied and informed by Mr Sabatini and Preet, every step of the way. During the different phases of the Ovarian Stimulation they organised follow up visits, Ultrasound checks, Blood tests and Medications. He adjusted the different doses depending on the response of my body to the Therapy. He guided us through the whole process and we had our procedures (Egg collection and PESA) with him to the Clinic he recommended. After the 3 failed rounds, our hope to succeed wasn’t at the highest, but he kept us positive that we could at least have more answers from this 4th round. He gave us personalised care and helped us to reach our goal. At the end of our first IVF cycle with Mr Sabatini we had 2 good quality Embryos, at day 5 Blastocysts stage, results we have never reached before! We decided to freeze both Embryos, as at the time a fresh transfer wasn’t recommended for me due to clinical reasons. This was a whole new chapter for us. We decided to go ahead with the frozen Embryo transfer in September 2025 and after the implant of one of the two embryos, I had my positive pregnancy test on the 5th of October. I am currently 22 weeks pregnant. So far everything is running smoothly and we can’t thank enough the knowledge and expertise of Mr Sabatini that has helped us to get to this unremarkable result. We will always be grateful to him and Preet for the support and compassion they showed us. I highly recommend Mr Sabatini, because obviously he has given us the greatest results we could have hoped for! But I would recommend him even more because, I have always felt he would have helped us to get to the answers we have long hoped for. Thank you from the bottom of our heart, Mr Sabatini and Preet.

I’m writing this after having my 12-week scan yesterday, where we saw a very active little baby, something we once weren’t sure we would ever experience. After a very long IVF journey, including multiple operations due to severe endometriosis, we made the decision to switch clinics and come to Guys under Professor Khalaf’s care. He performed one final operation that resolved the recurring issue I had been facing, and now, incredibly, I’m 12 weeks pregnant. During a time when we were truly in the depths of our IVF journey, a process that can be gruelling, exhausting and emotionally overwhelming, he gave us hope when we needed it most. He is incredibly approachable, positive and reassuring, and he gave me such a boost at a time when I needed it most. Mr Leach was absolutely fantastic from the moment I stepped into his office. After months of suffering and multiple GP and hospital visits, I’d become increasingly worried as severe neurological pain set in and my mobility rapidly deteriorated. Following my MRI, John immediately recognised the seriousness of my disc herniation and the level of pain I was experiencing. For the first time, I felt truly heard and understood. Within two days of our consultation, I underwent urgent surgery for a severe far-lateral herniated disc. The operation went extremely well, and John explained that the herniation was beyond the point of rehabilitation. The disc was severely compressing my L4/L5 nerve, causing significant muscle wastage and neurological pain that was difficult to control, despite the strong pain relief I was taking daily. After surgery, John set realistic expectations for my recovery — and it’s worth noting that I was wheeled into hospital, but I walked out the very next day. I’m pleased to say that, ten weeks on, I completed my first four-mile hike without any significant discomfort. I still have some nerve pain and numbness, but my mobility has improved dramatically.

Newmedica Leeds. 5* Care from start to finish. My optician at Specsavers suggested it was time to consider cataract surgery and I was offered an NHS referral to my choice of providers. I chose Newmedica Leeds and just over 2-3 weeks later had an initial consultation at Newmedica. Unfortunately my high blood pressure caused some problems and delayed the first cataract operation to my left eye, after 4-5 weeks weeks I had surgery on my first eye and 5-6 weeks later my second eye was done. Without exception all of the staff I met at Newmedica were friendly, helpful, and very caring. The consultant who carried out the procedure on both eyes (Mr. Kamran Khan) took the time to explain the procedure and answer my questions. During the procedures he was reassuring and calmly explained what was happening. Both procedures were carried out successfully and my sight is so much better now. I would like to give a big thank you to Mr Kamran Khan and his team and my Optometrist Summer Elyoussfi and her team for all the care and attention I received. I have no hesitation in recommending Newmedica Leeds.
