Thank goodness we found you! My son was born with torticollis and, as a result, always slept on one side. We had no idea this would lead to the flattening of his head, especially since no advice was provided post-birth. He was subsequently diagnosed with Plagiocephaly and a 15mm asymmetry (which is classed as moderate). We felt incredibly let down by the initial lack of guidance. While repositioning could have helped in those early weeks, by the time we realised there was an issue, too much time had passed to correct it without intervention. Navigating the next steps was difficult, as we were faced with a plethora of misinformation. We had several NHS and private consultations, but no one could categorically tell us that a helmet would fix it. The "party line" from the NHS is that they don’t work, but I can now categorically say that is simply not true! We initially met with a different helmet company but got cold feet when they couldn't guarantee the results, they estimated a "best-case" improvement of only 9mm. Following a discussion with Bassel Zebian, a Paediatric Neurosurgeon at King's College Hospital, he recommended we see Dr. Stenhouse at Ahead4babies. After discovering that two of our friends had also used them, we felt reassured enough to reach out. From the very first phone call, we were sold. They were clear about what to expect, answered all our questions, and confirmed they could get the asymmetry down to 0mm. Knowing the clinic is run by craniofacial surgeons gave us total peace of mind that we were in good hands. Dr. Stenhouse, who carried out our son’s treatment, is a Consultant Maxillofacial Surgeon at King’s College Hospital. He is incredibly honest about expected outcomes and will not recommend a helmet if it isn't truly necessary. After the first meeting, you are given the space to digest the information and decide whether or not to proceed. This was a breath of fresh air compared to other companies that seem to focus more on profit than actual need. While other helmets might look "flashier," they often work by removing layers as the head grows. In my opinion, this is far less effective than Dr. Stenhouse’s approach, as he bespokely trims the inside of the helmet to accurately adapt to the head as it grows. Our son wore his helmet for 17 weeks in total. We eventually agreed it was time to stop at 1mm asymmetry rather than risk overcorrection. Throughout the process, the 24/7 WhatsApp support team was fantastic, making the entire journey incredibly smooth. To any parents in doubt, if your child has moderate or severe asymmetry and you are past the first 12 weeks where repositioning is most effective, get the helmet! It is extremely unlikely to improve significantly on its own. It is also VERY important that you take action early while their head is still soft to see faster results, ideally as soon as they can support their head (around 4–5 months). I hope this helps other parents navigating this process. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me on social media. I’ll leave you with a picture of the result, one happy baby with a perfectly shaped head!

KT is by far the best physio I have ever been to. I went to KT to help to address a posterior pelvic tilt to help with a hip cam lesion as per instructions from a surgeon. KT took time in advance prior to our first appointment to read through the surgeon notes and very clearly understood what the notes suggested and was able to articulate this to me in a very easy to understand manner. KT really puts her patients first. She took time to understand what my personal goals were on the route to recovery such as getting back to a full gym routine and from the very first session suggested moderated ways in which I could build back up my routine. Under KTs clear and thoughtful guidance I was able to resume some level of exercise far quicker than I ever thought possible. KT provided very thorough instructions during our sessions and in the email write up that she sent after each session. Something I found particularly valuable was that KT demonstrated any exercises she gave me and then would film me doing the exercise on my phone to watch back, with her instructions voiced over the video. KT adapted well to my needs and continued to progress me in each session within what she knew I was capable of. After each session with KT I felt more and more assured and confident in my recovery. I could not recommend Katie enough, her friendly attitude and genuine desire to help not only aided in my recovery but made the entire process thoroughly enjoyable.

This was my first colonoscopy procedure so I didn’t know what to expect and was quite anxious. Looking at the patient reviews on this site beforehand really helped me so I wanted to add my own comments here as well. The 2 day preparation for my late afternoon procedure (fasting and drinking the cleansing medication) was actually the worst part, however I followed the instructions and kept myself very hydrated throughout, that along with a couple of boiled sweets in the last couple of hours to stop the hunger pangs really helped. The clinic staff were all really friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived and talked me through the process throughout so I knew what to expect. I had sedation for the procedure itself which was completely painless, and I got the results quickly. At all times my wellbeing was prioritised by the staff, with 1 to 1 nursing and a very welcome drink and biscuit afterwards. Special thanks from me to Roberta and Dr Khan, and my aftercare nurse whose name I forgot (sorry!)

We decided to visit them after reading their positive reviews and wanted to give it a try. After reviewing my test results, they recommended a three-month course of treatment. The instructions and cooking process were clear and easy to follow. After completing the three months of treatment, I went for another test and was delighted to learn that my FSH levels had gone down, which felt unbelievable and made us extremely happy. That said, I would have liked to learn more about my TCM diagnosis and what it meant, as this was not really explained to me. This was a bit disappointing, as I was genuinely interested—especially considering the cost of the consultations. Communication and transparency could have been better in this regard. However, Professor Au did call us to reassure us whenever he felt it was needed, which we appreciated. I would recommend them to anyone who is struggling with fertility and looking for support.

Mr mughal was great and had a great team, they took care of me really well for my 2 operations, few points was communication i was allergic to the surgery dye but this information was not told to any staff members i had to remind numerous times and even before I went into theatre, also as I have mental health issues some staff was rude and not understanding just judging, just a little care and attention as you dont know what someone is going through, also at Cannock hospital some stuff made feel uncomfortable and not really giving me the care so the after care after the operation was very poor, alos at new cross some staff are rude and make it uncomfortable, but I spoke with mr mughal who is going to see me in 12 months to see how my leg has healed and also about doing my left leg as I have pain in it, but mr mughal has done a great job and hes been very supportive, made me feel comfortable and reassured.

I normally don’t write reviews, I’m someone who feels that if you do your job well, there is no need. However I have just been been signed off for my second eye cataract surgery and would like to thank all those involved in bringing this about. It was a long haul as my second eye was so bad after an accident back in my teens that a lens had to be made specially to correct my vision. It took about six weeks to make, but I was kept informed of progress regularly. I have nothing but praise for the people who saw me throughout. From the security guys, reception and medical team, to the optometrists, the surgeon and of course Hannah. As my point of contact, Hannah was there to answer my questions and kept me up to date with progress. Once again thanks one and all. In the nicest possible way, I hope I don’t see you again for a long, long time.

I had an online ADHD assessment with Bernhard Kelley-Patterson. Bernhard was very friendly and professional, I felt at ease throughout the appointment and would happily talk with him again. So far my experience with Skylight has been very positive, the wait times between communication emails are generally 3-5 days and it took approximately 8 weeks to get my first appointment after the registering my interest. Considering the NHS waiting list for an ADHD assessment is 4 years, I’d say that pretty damn good. I would highly recommend opting for Skylight through the ‘Right to Choose’ pathway via the NHS. Thanks Bernhard and thank you Skylight

My surgery took place there and had to stay overnight due to vertigo and dizziness. The hospital was friendly, new and pristine. The nursing staff outstanding as well as of course the medical team. I had dinner and breakfast and it was also healthy and delicious. Yesterday I returned to have the dressing removed and it was equally good. If any criticism would be to the pharmacy with a 30minute wait to get my prescription and also despite being a Bupa hospital not having the availity to charge Bupa for medication- I am under Bupa Global and in other Bupa hospitals this is the case.

The Professor has been excellent each time I have met him with exactly the right level of professionalism in a very client focused manner. He just incredibly knowledgeable about all thing cardiology and given me excellent advice and guidance using the most up to date CT and MRI scanners to understand the issues involved. He explained, using the screens, the issues involved in a very user friendly fashion for the laymen/patient to understand. I had total confidence in his advice and very pleased my Doctor referred me to him. Thank you Professor Leyva-Leon

Having been treated for kidney cancer four months ago, I was anxious when noticing symptoms linked to the prostate. Professor PS had been the first person I saw when becoming ill last year and I was keen to seek his advice. He explained the situation clearly, sent me for tests and then painted a clear picture of their outcome and what I need to do in the future. I was also extremely impressed by the lady manning the desk at the LSDC London clinic. She really could not have been more helpful and went out of her way to get my tests arranged the same day.

I had a breast reduction and uplift with Parkash Lohana in December 2025 and I am delighted with the results. All the staff here are so kind and friendly. Special shout out to Roslyn for how well she looked after me (and my very anxious mum!) on the day, Bernadette, Lisa, but everyone has been amazing. I'm still healing and had to come in for a same day appointment to have something checked and Belinda totally put me at ease and gave me really clear information. Honestly couldn't fault a single element of my experience!

I am very happy with my first experience at the Practice today. Everyone was relaxed and friendly. It was so reassuring to be certain I was seeing an actual medically qualified person (uncertain in todays NHS) whose judgement therefore I felt I could trust. Dr Ridout was very understanding and approachable - an attentive listener, carried out an objective examination and was happy to discuss it together with why she was suggesting the proposed treatment plan. I would definitely recommend this Practice.

The building was easy to find and receptionist greeted me with a smile. I was really nervous for my allergy testing after suffering an anaphylaxis and I was put at ease straight away by Dr Rutkowski. He was super informative explaining why I could have had the reaction, explained what would happen with the testing and the control he had of any reaction occurred. He talked the whole time what he was doing next which really helped me feel less terrified.

After having a consultation with Aris I decided to go ahead with two separate Cataract operations over a few months in late 2025. Must admit I was very worried about the procedure, however Aris explained everything to me and was very patient and kind. If anyone requires Eye Surgery I would say he is an Amazing Surgeon and if possible get him to treat you. Since the Operation my Eyesight is just fantastic - it was well worth the worry .

We visited Mrs Langton Hewer with our 14 year old son, who has suffered with nosebleeds for many years, which have worsened. We were absolutely delighted with the service provided, from the relaxed manner of the initial conversation, to the procedure being carried out there and then with no fuss and our son, who is a typical 14 year old, being made to feel very comfortable and at ease. Highly recommended.
