I had a concern that it had been a while since the incident that had caused me to need to visit a doctor, and as such, I thought explanation and initial diagnosis would be more difficult. Dr. Izquierdo, however, was accomplished at not making me feel like that and the technique he used to explore my view of my full health and lifestyle enabled us both to understand not only the injury but how I had reached this point in the context of a multifaceted life. Even before we reached the point of diagnosis for the actual injury I felt the visit had been beneficial. Dr. Izquierdo's proposal for further investigations was exactly what I had hoped for and set me on the path to focused and appropriate further treatment.

Our attending physician, Dr. Krista Farrell, exemplified the highest standards of clinical excellence. Her demeanour was consistently warm, respectful, and empathetic. She listened attentively to our concerns regarding our son and promptly arranged all requisite scans, tests, and evaluations. During the subsequent consultation, Dr. Farrell delivered a clear, thorough, and meticulously articulated explanation of the findings, addressing each of our questions with precision and care. We remain profoundly grateful for the exceptional calibre of care she has provided to our son. It is deeply reassuring to know that he is under the expert guidance of such an exemplary and distinguished clinician.

The aftercare was outstanding — the team checked in with me every day for the first five days to make sure my skin was healing well, and I returned a few weeks later for a follow-up to review my progress. Dr Behar saw my mother in 2024. This second consultation in November 2025 followed a hospital admission in the cardiology ward. The symptoms were dizziness, palpitations, chest tightness and headaches. Dr Behar identified possible causes and a management strategy in the community with the aim of maintaining independence. He is highly skilled in conveying medical terminology in clear and easy to follow manner. We found him to be reassuring; he provided evidence based recommendations. Dr Behar was patient focused throughout the consultation. He maintained eye contact, heard our concerns and provided a way forward for the future. I highly recommend Dr Behar.

Received urgent call requesting blood test for tolerance to Dye. I Moved appointments for that afternoon to facilitate a flying visit. After arrival kept waiting for 35 minutes until I asked reception as was needed elsewhere and was told phlebotomist would be with me shortly. With Phlebotomist approx 3 minutes, total time 50 minutes and 50 miles traveled Then had to wait 9 days for scan which was only scheduled following chase-up from private GP. On presenting for CT Scan was told that they did not require blood test as procedure did not indicate use of dye. Most unimpressive communication and administration throughout

I recently returned to Spire Hartswood Hospital for my post-hip replacement follow-up, and I was once again very impressed with the level of care. The staff were attentive, professional, and genuinely caring throughout my visit.. Everything ran smoothly and on time , and I felt well looked after from the moment I arrived. The facilities are spotless and comfortable, and the aftercare support has been excellent. I’m extremely pleased with my recovery and grateful to the entire team at Spire Hartswood for their continued professionalism and kindness!

I had a follow up appointment for more YAG Laser treatment. Upon entering Cathedral Eye Clinic you are greeted by very friendly and helpful staff at reception. Thereafter I had very detailed tests carried out by a female Optometrist who is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Finally I had further tests and this was followed by the laser treatment by Mr Best who exudes absolute professional brilliance and is very reassuring explaining everything in detail. A truly excellent experience and I can recommend their fantastic care to anyone.

Thoroughly impressed with The Harborne Hospital. The moment you walk in you know you’ve entered a place that really cares. Ultra clean, comfortable and welcoming. Every member of staff had a smile on their faces. As a designer I pay attention to detail and hats off to the person who decided to place Temple Spa scents in the waiting area. Made feel like I was in a 5 star hotel. Such a lovely and pleasant atmosphere. Totally forgot I was in a hospital.
