I had a breast augmentation done by Mr Naveen Cavale, on day of the discharge I have been told everything went well but a few days later nerve pain kicked in on right side , barely could walk , was not able to move my arm properly and cried my eyes a lot as could not bare it and I have been told by nurse to go to A&E if it is that bad but this was a private surgery so expected private care too in case of a complication like this. I felt constant daily nerve pain for about 3 weeks but sorted now. 8 weeks after surgery, I started to feel implant ripples of a sudden which to me are also painful especially on left side where is more noticeable at touch. It wakes me up at night if I sleep on that side. I am very upset as most women seem to have great results from this type of surgery in comparison with me otherwise I would have not done this at all in first place. I am also not happy as my upper body mobility has been restricted , I like working out and I have started to lift weights above my head two and half months later and I honestly have to say it is a struggle , not able to extend my arms properly as before and not sure if ever able again to do the workout that I was doing before surgery. Getting implant ripples is the most upsetting of all that happened especially when I made sure I take time off work to recover fully and followed the post procedure recommendations. Now I am worried that will get worse and have to pay again a lot of money for removing them.

My appointment with Miss Preshaw was excellent. During our initial conversation she was attentive and seemed genuinely interested in my symptoms and medical history. She was able to make connections between minor complaints that have previously been dismissed/ignored, and suggest tests to rule out conditions that might cause them. I was particularly impressed by how supportive she was of the care I had received by her colleagues in the NHS, even when she felt certain things had been overlooked. I left with a clear plan of action and a sense that things were being put in motion. The follow up letters to myself and my GP were sent very clearly and accurately reflected my understanding of the appointment.

I came in today for surgery feeling incredibly nervous after a bad experience on the NHS previously, all I can say is I am so impressed with how different the process has been with the team today. Everyone from reception to the nurses to the anesthesiologist and of course Mr Banwell were genuinely fantastic and I can’t thank them enough. No question or ask was too much, I truly felt genuine care and warmth from all the staff. They checked on me regularly, reassured me constantly. My pain has been managed incredibly well and Mr Banwell’s precision has most definitely aided this too. I can’t be more grateful for everyone that cared for me today, Thank you all so much.

I saw Mr Ho following some concerns I had with one of my eyes after cataract surgery carried out by a different surgeon. Mr Ho was very thorough in his approach and identified that I had some tears in my retina which needed repairing fairly urgently. He performed a vitrectomy (retina repair) the same day and following a few weeks recovery my eye is now fully healed. I can't recommend Mr Ho enough, his manner with patients is excellent, he fully informs you as to what he plans to do and why and his aftercare is excellent. I'm very glad I engaged him when I had a problem with my eye and wish I'd had him do the cataract surgery in the first place.

I went at 11 weeks for a scan and for a NIPT test. The booking process was excellent, the members on the phone were so helpful and considerate. My appointment with Dr Desi was on time and extremely thorough. She was so compassionate, caring and kind throughout the appointment, explaining everything each step of the way and being extremely thorough through the scan and explaining our NIPT options. It’s the best consulting experience I’ve had throughout my pregnancy. Reception staff were extremely helpful too. I would really recommend LPC to any expecting couples. On arrival, and in good time, there was a huge que at the reception desk with only one member of staff trying to deal with patients. We waiting a very long time even to be acknowledged so, not wanting to be late for our appointment, we made our own way to the area A. We were then approached another member of staff in Area A who was able to give us the forms we should have received at reception. Knowing that a significant number of patients were due in the recetion should have been fully staffed with an expeditious way in processing through.
