As a business owner and mum of 2 it is vital that I keep operating as close to my A Game as I can. As a result I have been trying to find both the optimal HRT for me personally - and also the best provider/ clinic I can find. I started with the NHS and my local doctor which quickly didn’t feel bespoke or targeted enough for my hormonal needs or personalised in the approach. I then registered with an online menopause clinic and worked thru them for over a year. The HRT felt much better however it was a logistical challenge. HRT was sent thru the post and took 2 weeks to arrive. If you missed/ had to reschedule an online appointment/ blood test (which with a business and kids happens regularly) it had ramifications so I would find myself running out of HRT with a 2 week stretch ahead of me. This just didn’t work with my job where I am client facing and needing to know that I am feeling grounded, confident and not overwhelmed / severely anxious. Another problem I found was that the online clinic wasn’t conferring with my NHS doctor so my records were not up to date which felt concerning. I have private health and know how close the private doctors work with the NHS so this raised alarm bells to me. It was in one of these periods when I was about to go into a work trip with no HRT that in my desperation I saw an advert for Dr Kemp. I booked an appointment with her and the process felt so personalised and easy. The consultation was surprisingly in depth (much more so than the online clinic). I realised after the consultation the importance of working with a medical professional who can take a holistic view of your health as a female - not just focussing on your hormones. I realised during the call that I was behind on my mammogram - and also have since the call booked myself in for therapy in the advice of Dr Kemp. She asked for a blood test - and prescribed a new variation of HRT with clear instructions on how to use. The prescription was emailed direct to me within a few hours and I could use my local chemist to action it. This felt so liberating being able to pick up within hours as oppose to waiting for a few weeks. Dr Kemp sent me the notes from our conversation with her suggested next step actions - which prompted me to both book the mammogram and therapy. And has checked in a number of times since. She also sent a letter to my NHS doctor and logged both the recommendations and HRT prescription. As a result if I need some urgently and I can’t contact Dr Kemp I can now go direct to my NHS doctor and ask them to prescribe. I feel I have finally found the set up and professional I need to be able to navigate myself through the perimenopause and menopause whilst maintaining the responsibilities I have in my life. I’ve realised how anxious I have been previously not feeling like I have a medical professional and HRT available to me - and I feel so relieved that I’ve been able to find the set up with Dr Kemp. No matter what the menopause continues to bring up/ throw at me I know I can face it head on - with my optimum health and mind set - with the advice of Dr Kemp helping me maintain my emotional and physical strength.

I booked a consultation for my daughter, Olivia P,with Mr Robert Sutcliffe on Monday 24th November 2025 at 2.00pm. With Olivia’s full consent, I handled all communication on her behalf due to her work commitments. Before the appointment, Mr Sutcliffe’s secretary contacted me to ask whether the consultation could be moved to the following week. I explained that we were due to travel abroad for three weeks to celebrate my husband’s milestone birthday. She advised she would discuss this with Mr Sutcliffe. She later called back to confirm that, in light of our circumstances, Mr Sutcliffe was happy to keep the original appointment — which he honoured. I accompanied Olivia to her consultation. Mr Sutcliffe was exceptionally thorough. He examined her carefully, explained his diagnosis with clarity and compassion, and put both of us completely at ease as he outlined the next steps. He requested a further liver function blood test, which Olivia had done at Nuffield Health Wolverhampton. I asked Nuffield Health to send the results to both Mr Sutcliffe and Olivia’s GP, which was done. Mr Sutcliffe’s secretary informed me as soon as the results were received and assured me they would be reviewed promptly. True to her word, Mr Sutcliffe reviewed the results quickly. His secretary then advised that he had no concerns and that our planned follow-up in the New Year could go ahead as arranged. I would also like to note that, as we were leaving Harborne Hospital, we happened to see Mr Sutcliffe leaving at the same time. It was clear he had come in specifically to see Olivia that day, knowing we were travelling abroad — something he was under no obligation to do. As a family, we found this gesture incredibly thoughtful and deeply appreciated it. Throughout the entire process, Mr Sutcliffe could not have been more helpful, supportive or empathetic. I am truly grateful that we can now go away on our family celebration holiday with complete peace of mind, knowing my daughter is under the care of such a capable, caring and dedicated professional. I recently visited John Flynn Opticians for my 2-yearly eye exam. Dr Janjua is always incredibly thorough in the eye exam, explaining each step and answering all my questions with patience. He takes the time to discuss my prescription in detail and also the variety of lens options available such as anti-fatigue, blue light reduction and anti-glare. I work in the computing industry and having the right eyewear makes the difference between a good day and one where you’re severely tired at the end of it. Dr Janjua’s expertise and attention to detail makes sure you’re confident it will be a good day. Dr Janjua is also supported by an amazing team. Everybody is welcoming and professional, making the entire process seamless and comfortable. I only needed new lenses this time which will be fixed to my existing frames, but when new frames have been required they’ve helped me choose the perfect frames that not only suit my style, but also feel comfortable. What really stands out is the personalised care and attention I received. Dr Janjua and the team genuinely care about your eye health and it shows. I highly recommend Dr Janjua and the team to anyone in need of eye care.

I recently underwent an ankle operation with Mr Pavier, and my experience throughout the entire process was fast, smooth, and reassuring. He was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, and provided clear explanations at every stage. I couldn’t be more pleased with how efficiently my case was managed. I was treated as a day-case patient and recovered quickly. It has now been just over two months since my operation, and I was already walking comfortably well before that. The procedure was modern and minimally invasive, resulting in a small wound, a shorter healing time, and the ability to walk without crutches in less than a month. Although I am a patient at Lincoln Hospital, I was given the option to attend a nearby hospital in Nottingham to speed up the operation, which was extremely helpful. The facilities were clean and modern, and the staffs were very welcoming. Thanks to the excellent care I received, my ankle is healing very well, and I am excited to return to my normal daily activities and resume sports without discomfort.

I saw Alex Townsend for a running injury on my foot/ankle via Bupa. He was very professional, provided great care, and was excellent at communicating his thought process as he inspected my injury. He was efficient and determined in getting me the necessary follow ups booked timely when I told him I had an upcoming race. He referred me to Dr. Burdon who was also very professional and provided great care. After our follow up, Alex provided me with useful training resources for foot taping and running. He performed walking and running gait analysis on me. It was insightful to hear his analysis, and it formed the basis for him to refer me for additional foot physio appointments to strengthen my foot and minimize chance of future injuries.
