I cannot speak highly enough of my treatment at St Hugh’s. From the warm welcome at Reception to the exemplary care of the Nursing Team (Nurse Whitney - your care and compassion are “gold standard”) I could not have asked for a more pleasant experience. Special thanks also to the Consultant Anaesthetist, Consultant Ophthalmologist and Theatre Team. Your skills and expertise are more appreciated than words can express. Last, but certainly not least, thank you to the lovely lady who served me with the delicious tea and toast! You are all a credit to the name St Hugh’s!!

It’s now almost 6 months since I had my operation with Mr. Mondelli, and I can honestly say I only wish I had done it sooner. I feel so good, and the pain I used to have before the surgery is now just a distant memory! The consultation was very informative, and I had time to think about my options. When I finally decided to go ahead with the surgery, I called his secretary and he put on the waiting list straight away without any delays. The surgery went really well, and Mr. Mondelli found endometriosis and managed to remove it all, also the one closer to my bowel.

Sam Wilde did an amazing job on my hip. I had a steroid injection and an extremely gloomy prognosis from the consultant with regard to osteoarthritis. Without Sam I would have gone into a deep depression! Sam talked me through a programme of rest post the steroid injection followed by a slow return to exercise with various adaptations. A year and a half later I am back to exercising 6 times a week with (so far) no issues other than the odd twinge from my hip. I am incredibly grateful and can't rate the treatment I got highly enough.

I was in clinic today with my daughter, who is being treated for acne. Dr Christine was extremely helpful. She listened carefully to my daughter before examining her skin thoroughly. She listed all the options that she thought would be suitable and gave my daughter opportunity to discuss each of them. After careful consideration, a treatment plan that everyone was comfortable with, was agreed. I was really impressed with Dr Christine today and would highly recommend her. She is professional, knowledgeable and considerate.

Mr Moraleda is an amazing doctor and incredibly human. I was deeply touched by his empathy. Finding someone like him when you are going through a difficult situation (hearing loss) really makes a difference and he made everything a little bit easier. I am very grateful. Besides that, on a technical side he's very clear in explaining the condition, the expectations, and very skilled in performing ear injections. I had absolutely no pain or side effects.

I thought that being asked to arrive at 4pm was too early. All I had to do for the first 2 hours was a 10 minute check-in with the nurse. Then at 6pm onwards I met the consultant. I was third on the list so it was after 8pm before I went in and I hadn't eaten since 11.30am. I just think you could ask people to arrive at 5pm, not 4pm. Nurses friendly. Facility good. Consultant and team excellent. Happy with procedure.

However, Dr Ganan was super, and made me feel that he had all the time in the world for me.
