I am writing to formally complain about misleading advertising by the clinic Skin55. Their website led me to believe that laser treatments were available at the clinic, and I booked a consultation directly with the clinic, not with any specific doctor. However, upon attending the appointment, I was informed that the clinic did not have the required laser equipment and that not all doctors at Skin55 perform laser treatments. This discrepancy meant that I paid an initial consultation fee of £300, only to then be told that I would need to be referred to another doctor within the same clinic who does provide laser treatments. This second consultation was then quoted at £380. This sequence of events highlights a lack of transparency and constitutes misleading advertising, resulting in unnecessary expenses and inconvenience. I believe that this matter warrants investigation to ensure that Skin55’s practices align with advertising and consumer-protection regulations. I am prepared to provide supporting documentation upon request

I had a total hip replacement on 30 September 2025. The initial consultation was clear and concise regarding the procedure. On the day of the operation, I met briefly with Mr Joseph, but the other medical professionals had fully briefed me. Before discharge, I met Mr Joseph again, and he relayed what had occurred. Mt surgery had gone well. My recovery has been rapid, and after six weeks, I met Mr Joseph again. He gave me practical advice on how to continue my recovery. Simply, the operation was successful, and I am on the strong road to full recovery. Furthermore, I am amazed at the size of the scar, which is neat and minimal. My next-door neighbour is a consultant, and he removed the bandages after two weeks. He was very complimentary about the neatness and health of the wound. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Jopspeh for this type of surgery.

The overall experience was excellent. As an NHS patient I felt I waited too long which affected my mental health and mobility, this wait has impacted on my recovery. I would have waited even longer if I hadn’t gone to my GP and asked for my operation to be escalated. The whole process took six months of physio initial NHS xray took a further 5 months to see the consultant then a further 4 and a half months for op. This has been a nightmare. I am however extremely appreciative of my operation and the treatment I have received during my stay at Hoarders. Also on the discharge sheet I was given a number to call for worries and questions once I got home this number was however not answered and my answer phone message was not called back.

I was in private unit ,I had an apointment with Mr. al Midani. For the subjects kidney , hernia, obesity. I turst Mr. Al Midani. He is a perfect doctor. 👏👏🧿🧿⭐⭐. He thinks with the patient, on the side of the patient. He explains everything briefly. We had the obesity subject in the last 6-8 months. ,it goes very well. I got 18-20 kg lighter. And in a few months Most probably I will have the surgery for my hernia occured after the kidney transplantation/mediterranian univ. Mr. Al Midani will do the hernia operation here in Royal Free. Because he has the experience on both hernia and kidney transplantation. Thanks to him for all his efforts.. And congrats 👏🧿⭐

Dr Lerman went out of his way, many a time to explain exactly what he was going to do, what he had done and the next course of action. On no occasion did he rush my consultation or limit these to the standard ‘15 minutes’ for me and, on one occasion, after a procedure, he rang about late at night and rang me twice to ensure I was not experiencing an adverse reaction to a procedure, that may have required admission. I was pleasantly shocked and impressed at Mr Lerman’s standard of care and attention towards me, and would absolutely recommend him as a 5-star doctor for gastroenterology care.

The staff were so kind and helped me to relax when I went for egg collection. The Embryo transfer was a beautiful moment and they ensured it was marked with a photo of the embryo being transferred and a hand written card. Unfortunately, our first transfer was unsuccessful but I know we are in safe hands for our next steps. The admin team in particular have been amazing - responsive, sensitive and friendly. Thank you to all of the staff that quietly encourage hope in a scary time

I went into my appointment on time which was good as I had cone out of work. Mr Gatwari was very pleasant and happy with the results of my most recent procedure and happy with the results overall. He explained what had been done and checked I understood. I was discharged from his care with no need for further follow up. I am more than happy with the treatment I have received and the overall experience with Mr Gatwari and Soire Murryfield.

All staff were very welcoming and their bedside manner was outstanding. The whole team kept me feeling very reassured and I felt I was in safe hands. Very caring and professional especially Alice she stood by my side throughout distracting me from the procedure. Special thanks to Mr Clerk, very professional, trustworthy and a very knowledgeable consultant, he made me feel at ease at all times. I cannot thank him enough ☺️

I found starting with the Receptionist and then on to the Nursing Staff and anyone I came into contact with, both polite, friendly and caring. I cannot think of any situation where I was made to feel uncomfortable. I find Mr Ijsz Sheikh a very pleasant and polite gentleman with whom I feel comfortable and able to talk over sight problems.

The team who looked after me throughout my appointments at the Spire were exceptional, including the reception team Today’s visit was only marred by the lack of car parking spaces and careless parking by individuals which made navigating the car park dangerous and almost impossible due to the random positioning of Cars.
