The treatment/visits were certainly friendly and professional enough but explanations about the injury and treatments were limited and involved some scribbling with a pencil on a piece of paper which were difficult to understand rather than using actual pictures of the relevant joint/injury area. When asking any follow up questions through the online system the clinic uses, MyChart, there was never a response. This happened on a number of occasions. Most recently, I submitted a request for a referral to a physio. After more than 6 weeks of asking this, and repeating this request on more than 4 occasions, I have given up and have had to pay for the physio privately absent a referral. I also would not recommend Dr Mark Gillett for a frozen shoulder. I have since learned that a hydrodistension is the most effective treatment for this, as opposed to long waiting times for an initial appointment, then booking an MRI, and only then booking a steroid injection. The latter helps with the pain and inflamation, but less so with improving mobility. I also discovered after the event that the radiographer had actually recommended a hydrodistension.

I was referred to Mr Simon Withey by my Dermatologist, Prof.Malcolm Rustin for the removal of a malignant tumour on my face near my eye. I was very anxious but can't praise Mr Withey highly enough for his kindness, reassurance and the care given to me right from my initial consultation when he listened to all my concerns and clearly and carefully explained the proposed surgery. I was amazed how quick the procedure was. Even more significantly I was truly thrilled with the result, particularly than the cancer was totally removed, and I experienced absolutely no pain, numbness or discomfort afterwards. Mr Withey is truly an expert surgeon and was able to neatly close the wound without needing a skin graft. Now eight weeks later I don't even have as much as the faintest of a scar remaining. My family cant believe that I have even had any surgery! I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Mr. Simon Withey.

My most recent visit was a post-surgery appointment. The purpose was to assess my progress and to provide advice and , in my case, a lot of reassurance that I will make a full recovery. Everything went well. Mr. Ibrahim was very factual and reassuring. I left the appointment feeling less stressed, confident that I will return to my being very active. My overall experience under Mr.Ibrahim's care has been positively memorable. He is very professional, calm, friendly and knowledgable. His support team is excellent! Amira was my contact. She was friendly, professional and pretty much perfect. She moved heaven and earth to ensure everything was in place pre and post - surgery. Dealing with Mr. Ibrahim and Amira has been an absolute pleasure.

This is my second surgery in the Cleveland Clinic and once again It was without fault and without equal. All the staff from the nurses, surgeon, anaesthetist, porters & dinner team are so friendly, kind and display genuine care to patients/my family. My surgery with Dr Nikolaos was easy, quick and surprisingly a nice day despite circumstances of my health! He is an amazing professor with a keen interest in rib problems which is rare in itself but he was also very bubbly, reassuring and friendly i look forward to seeing what he publishes next on all things slipped rib syndrome as this painful condition has been very challenging to me and he was the one to fix it! After seeing several gynecologists, Mr Raza was at last the most reassuring and straight forward in explaining why having a robotic laparoscopic hysterectomy would be the best way forward for me. I am now 6 weeks post op and I am feeling great. I am continuing to be amazed by how small my scar is (2cm!). I would highly recommend Mr Raza to any women doubting whether to have the operation. Every person is different of course but he is so knowledgeable, kind and professional. His PA - Sukhy - has been extremely helpful, supportive and always at the end of the line if I had any question - even during the Christmas week. Thank you !

I had a online assessment, I was seen by Wioleta Cholewinska. She was really lovely, welcoming and put me at ease. She made me feel comfortable and was understanding and listened very well. The longest waiting part was from filling out the forms to the assessment, but even tho this was a wait, I was expecting it to be a lot longer than it was so that’s great. The actual booking of my assessment was super quick and easy. They sent me a date and time that was for an appointment within 14days of them sending me the appointment details. I’ve heard this can be a lot longer elsewhere so I was surprised about this in a good way.

The overall experience was good at the start been going go treatment over a year the oncologist never contacts me only if I complain the nurses never pass my concerns on I’ve been waiting for private prescription for 6 days which has never turned up rang and spoke to a doctor he promised to pass it on to oncologist never happened after 4 phone calls the service is disgusting the amount of fees I am paying I expect a better service than I’m getting I’m seriously thinking of going back to NHS where I did get better service I certainly wouldn’t recommend Genesis Care to anyone

All the staff were friendly and helpful. The entire stay was comfortable and I felt informed at all times. Although I asked the anaesthetist and two other staff members for numbing cream for the cannula and being told this would be ok, this wasn't done. When I got to the theatre, the theatre nurse explained it was too late. I was a bit disappointed that I was only allowed a sandwich in the evening but was told this was because of the anaesthetic. The breakfast was lovely and one of the nurses kindly helped me with my suitcase when I left which was appreciated.

Mr Brown is a very pleasant surgeon and extremely competent. He managed to repair tendons in my shoulder which previously were told were irreparable. His secretary is excellent and responding to my queries to Mr. Brown and both have been very patient with me. His matter is very pleasant and was good at sharing details of my operation and answering questions. He has a good sense of humour which often is lacking in surgeons! I am happy for Mr. Brown to view my comments.

Transfered to Clarytin after disappointing time with NHS awaiting time for appointment for cataract removal. Very pleased with Clarity who saw me very shortly after referral and operated on a week later. I was going to wait for the next operation on the NHS on the 4th February but when that was moved to sometime in April, I took the next available appt on January 20th for a private operation. Both private experiences have been a pleasure and very good.
