Usually feedback is of a negative nature but this is not one of those occasions. My experience was awesome for which I am super grateful. I have had a number of gastroscopies in my life so was nervous about what was going to happen. From the moment of my arrival I was greeted and made to feel comfortable straight away. The pre-procedure nurses were very clear, helpful and showed huge amounts of empathy about what was going to happen. When wheeled into the operating theatre I was introduced to all of the team who were to perform the procedure, all of whom had welcoming smiles and a reassuring tone (a tone that continued throughout the procedure). Dr Alan Watson was super clear, professional and again very comforting. I knew I was in safe hands. I just had a throat spray, no sedation, so was fully aware of what was going on. One action that was performed by a nurse during the procedure was to, comfortingly, rub my shoulder. I couldn’t see who it was, but such a small, seemingly insignificant action, was hugely important to me and kept me connected with humanity during the brutal fact that I had a scope down my throat. Post procedure, I was greeted with the warm smiles again and wheeled to the recovery area where again everyone was super attentive. I can’t say thank you enough for everything. The team were awesome.

I cannot thank Mr. Mukherjee enough for the incredible care and expertise he has shown throughout my entire surgical journey. From the very first consultation, he was fantastic—professional, thorough, and reassuring. He took the time to explain every step of the procedure in detail, making sure I understood exactly what to expect before my operation. On the day of the surgery, Mr. Mukherjee visited me again, and his warm, friendly manner instantly helped calm my nerves. He truly made me feel safe and supported. I’ve just had my 2-week post-surgery appointment, and I am amazed by how beautifully my scars have healed. His work is absolutely perfect. Mr Challand always greeted me with a very pleasant and positive attitude at our face to face meetings. This was very encouraging and helped me to carry the positivity throughout my time under Mr Challand's care. When I came round out of the initial surgery, I saw my situation and for the next 2 days I allowed my internal voices to voice how they saw my future situation. However at the end of the 2nd day, I gave myself a good talking to, that tomorrow (the 3rd day) there would be no more "why me" complaining. This is how I carried on - Only Positivity, and it worked for me. Yes, there were a few situations but I dealt with each in a plus positive manner. I always made sure to greet every one with a positive outlook. My visits with Mr Challand have always been very pleasant and straight to the point. Thanks to all the staff who were involved with my case. I'm so fortunate to be here and can only express my sincere thanks to all. The best gift to me has been the reversal. The appointment itself was very positive. Dr. Robert Gordon was calm, validating, and genuinely listened. The room was quiet, warm, and set up like a cosy study, which made it feel safe rather than clinical. He explained the diagnostic impressions clearly at the end in a way that finally made sense, and it didn’t feel dismissive. I left feeling understood in a way I haven’t experienced with other services, although the level of positivity felt unexpected and left me a bit uncertain about how to interpret it. The only issue was the arrival process. My appointment was in the late evening, and reception was closed. It wasn’t clear where to check in, and I had no phone signal. I had to rely on Wi-Fi and the website photos to work out where to wait. Overall, despite the initial uncertainty about the building, the clinical experience was extremely positive. Everything went smoothly, and the assessment itself was very professional.

I recently had robotic laparoscopic cholecystectomy at Ross Hall hospital. My surgery went very smoothly with a very quick uneventful recovery. I was home the same day, and back to work in less than 3 weeks. Having robotic surgery meant I required minimal pain relief post op, and I felt great. Mr Renwick as excellent at explaining exactly what the procedure involved, post op complications, where my scars would be so I knew exactly what I was expecting. After surgery he explained in depth how the surgery went, and followed up with pathology report at my 6 week review. All in all an excellent consultant and I felt safe allowing him to carry out my procedure

I reached out to Doctor Ramcharan to see my 10 year old Son who has Cerebral Palsy and is experiencing a lot of chest pain. Doctor Ramcharan saw him very quickly, he listen to my son and listen to us (Parents), he read all my notes and concerned, he gave him a thorough examination, ECG and Echocardiogram. He spent a lot of time checking everything, and taking pictures of the results. He discuss the results with us all and in layman's terms both for us and for our son. He put our minds at ease. I would highly recommend seeing Dr Ramcharan.

I was put at ease by Mr Stavros Karanakos, he explained the treatment for my condition, invited questions from me which he answered, and explained the procedure in detail. I left after that initial meeting feeling that I was in very capable hands. On the day of the operation I was visited by him where he outlined the procedure again, explaining the possible issues that could happen. I was visited again after the operation to check on my progress and to update me on how the procedure went.

Mr Iqbal was very kind and professional and i was very comfortable with him operating on my eyes.The procedure was explained in detail, it was recommended that I researched and thought about the eye surgery that we have discussed. Mr Avis has been so thorough and responsive to the issues. He immediately did multi level investigation to separate my shoulder from my wrist issues and literally sorted out the injections into my shoulder on the day I was there. I was so impressed. The hospital orator is beautiful - spotless and all the team are fabulous.

I was referred to Pure Sports following a long standing back issue I was dealing with. Erin was my physiotherapist and was great throughout, explained everything, continuously measured progress and was very easy and open to discussing the ups and downs of recovery, as it never always goes smoothly. Seen a few physios over the years but can highly recommend.
