Louis explained everything in a really easy-to-understand way and talked me through the scan as it was happening, which helped put me completely at ease. The ultrasound was very thorough, and it was clear he really knows what he’s doing, nothing felt rushed, and he took his time to check everything properly. What I appreciated most was how calm and reassuring Louis was throughout the appointment. He made sure I understood what was going on, what the scan showed, and what the next steps might be, without using complicated medical language or making it feel overwhelming. The whole appointment felt professional but friendly, and I left feeling informed, reassured, and confident in the advice I was given. Whilst going through the trauma of a small kidney stone lodged in my ureter, and with a stent in place from the NHS, my first consultation with Professor Turney was incredibly reassuring. He explained clearly what the next steps on the road to recovery would look like and following our discussion, immediately arranging an appointment for an ureteroscopy . Although the final operation date depended on the consultant’s workload—and therefore was not as soon as I initially hoped—the process felt well managed and transparent throughout. The information and guidance Professor Turney provided before, during, and after the procedure were exceptional, as was the support of his wider team. The operation itself, along with the subsequent stent removal, went smoothly and was a complete success. After nearly eight weeks of discomfort and pain, the care and expertise of Professor Turney were instrumental in restoring my well‑being, leaving me genuinely grateful for such a positive outcome.

Welcoming and helpful. Only one lift was working and the remaining one was noisy and slow but there was a notice advising of this. The coffee machine in wait area was out of order Reception staff were kind and helpful but sometimes difficult to understand accent. One set of chairs in a sub waiting area was under a shelf which meant I knocked my head. Appeared clean and efficient and was quiet on day of my visit. Preoperative bloods were done straight after consultation which is very good and in fact results appeared next day. That's good service. Overall allowing for things that happen a positive experience.

The Clinic was a little difficult to find but once there the staff were excellent and very efficient. My appointment was on time and the waiting area was warm and comfortable. The consultant was very helpful and explained everything and answered all my questions. I wasn’t rushed or meant to feel unimportant. The nurse was helpful and reassuring. There had been an administrative problem that I had mentioned to the lady on arrival and that was completely sorted out by the time I left which was extremely efficient. I will have no hesitation on returning for a procedure in the near future. An excellent clinic

On arrival, and in good time, there was a huge que at the reception desk with only one member of staff trying to deal with patients. We waiting a very long time even to be acknowledged so, not wanting to be late for our appointment, we made our own way to the area A. We were then approached another member of staff in Area A who was able to give us the forms we should have received at reception. Knowing that a significant number of patients were due in the recetion should have been fully staffed with an expeditious way in processing through.

His answers to my queries were thorough and reassuring. He was more than happy to take his time and encouraged dialogue.
