I had a Rhinoplasty here with Lucian Ion. I'm grateful to all of the staff at the hospital for making my stay so comfortable; the room was clean and comfortable, and whenever I needed help the nurses were quick and helpful, plus the food was really good. The surgery and anaesthetic itself went smoothly, and it was re-assuring to talk to both surgeon (Mr Ion) and anaesthetist (Dr Warwick Marchant) beforehand, and then see Mr Ion multiple times after the surgery. When I was soon to be discharged from the hospital I momentarily (for a few minutes) felt very rough; the hospital staff were really friendly and there wasn't any rush to discharge. One thing I did note is that there wasn't always complete consistency between the surgeon and the hospital, e.g. on the admission time, or on how to clean the wounds, so I would suggest trying to improve this (the patient, at least speaking for myself, isn't always a reliable intermediary), however this was a very minor issue.

Came across Southside Medical on FB ....my own GP practice has no online appointments for all of November and December. I had mine booked and completed in just a few hours. Doctor took time to understand what was up (sciatica) and what he could do to help. Did a complete check to make sure it was sciatica and not something else and gave me advice should my symptoms change. Then after a discussion he arranged for me to get some medication which is certainly helping with my sleep. Can't fault the timeliness and the expertise of the doctor. Very warm and empathetic and can't recommend highly enough.

I've had, and continue to have, a really positive experience with Pride in Health. Everyone I've spoken to has been so dedicated and kind. I've felt so understood and at ease, which is special to me as I've never experienced feeling this way from healthcare providers before. When I've struggled to interpret information due to my autism, the team has always been so patient and helpful and quick to answer my queries. I recall when I first reached out with questions, I was sent back a super in depth answer, answering questions I didn't even know I had. The work they do is fantastic. Thank you!

I had to book a blood test after seeing a consultant and a follow up telephone appointment for the next week. I sat and waited 45 mins for my blood test and then had to go and ask at Reception how much longer I would have to wait. The original Receptionist who booked it had gone home. I was then seen within 10 minutes. Also follow up appointment had been booked as face to face when I specifically said “telephone appointment”. Luckily the consultant remembered he said to book telephone appointment and rang me at the specified time. Two mistakes by the same receptionist. Not good

I would not choose Spire as a private patient. The nursing staff were fabulous but the overall experience was poor. I feel that since they now take 80% nhs patients then the overall standards have dropped. After my operation I ordered an evening meal that didn’t materialise and after starving for over 24 hours was able to get a chicken sandwich eventually. The breakfast was quite simply atrocious. Cold scrambled egg, awful tea, toast inedible due to being soggy. I recently had emergency surgery at Taunton NHS hospital and they were far superior to this hospital.

I was admitted extremely unwell to queens with meningitis , I ended up in itu after slowly recovering from this with the expert care of the itu staff there was a further complication and it was discovered that I had air on the brain that was causing the most excruciating pain I have ever experienced. I was I. Agony and confussed mr Weiss calmly took charge of me and decided to operate on me, thus saving my life, will his skilled hands he patched the hole in my skull. I will forever be gratefull to him and his excellent team.

Mr Sharma was amazing and took the best care of my mum. He removed a suspected BCC (thankfully turned out to be a cyst) and a smaller cyst. He took the time making sure she was ok before, during and after her procedure. He always took time to make sure everything was explained, understood and was happy to answer any questions asked. Couldn’t recommend Mr Sharma enough, he is amazing.

I am over the moon with the care I have received from Mr Lomax and the team at Spire Roundhay, Leeds. Everything has been explained clearly, my treatment has been quick, I have had an easy recovery. I wish instead of trying to cope with the agony of Mortons Neuroma, if I'd have been braver I should have reached out to Mr Lomax sooner. No regrets about having the surgery

Today I attended the review 6 weeks after my inguinal hernia procedure. The meeting went very well as I have not experienced any issues since the procedure. Mr Chitsabesan was very happy with my progress and checked the area of the incision and it was all fine. He advised me to still be careful when lifting anything heavy and when coughing.
