My experience at the Fitzrovia private maternity suite at UCLH was exceptional from start to finish. The room's were spotlessly clean, comfortable, and calm - exactly what you hope for during such an important emotional time. The food was genuinely excellent, with a great variety of choices, which made a real difference during recovery and long days on the ward. Most importantly, the staff were absolutely amazing. From the midwives and healthcare assistance to the catering team, every single person was kind, caring and professional. The midwives were extremely knowledgeable and always on hand to support and reassure, no matter the time of day. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. What truly stood out was the continuity of care even after discharge. The midwives remained available to support me with breastfeeding and post cesarean aftercare, which was invaluable and made me feel supported well beyond my stay. I cannot fault the Fitzrovia private maternity suite at UCLH. The standard of care, compassion, and attention to detail where outstanding, and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering private maternity to care.

From our very first consultation, he was reassuring, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. His entire team was equally wonderful, and I felt supported every step of the way. My recovery exceeded all expectations. Within three weeks I was walking comfortably without crutches, and now just nine weeks post-op, I’m back to most of my favourite activities with a completely pain-free hip. The surgical scar has healed beautifully and is a testament to Dr. Field’s skill and precision. This surgery has been an absolute game changer, and I’m so grateful to Dr. Field for giving me my quality of life back. I can’t wait to return to surfing later this year!

I am writing to share my feedback following my second appointment with Dr. Aaron Hughes. In an era where healthcare can often feel rushed and impersonal, Dr. Hughes is a remarkable exception. From the outset, he was friendly, approachable, and demonstrated a genuine interest in my wellbeing. I particularly appreciated that he remembered specific concerns from my previous visit, which immediately made me feel valued as an individual rather than just another appointment slot. Dr. Hughes is an incredibly patient practitioner who listens actively and takes all concerns seriously. During the examination, he was thorough and took the time to explain his diagnosis and treatment plan in detail. Most importantly, I left both appointments feeling genuinely cared for. He is truly one of the best health professionals I have encountered in a long time. I would also like to commend the rest of the staff at the dermatology department, who were equally friendly and helpful.

Asked to be 15 mins early for scan, but then not called until 30 mins or so after time of appointment without any prior indication of running late (perhaps because it was at 6pm ). Head scanner was still busy so junior radiologer kindly chatted to me for 15 mins after I'd changed to kill time. Having been told it would take 15 mins, scan took about 45 mins and team forgot to talk to me or put music on despite me saying I was a bit claustrophic (but can get by ok). Then at 8pm, no doubt in rush to scan next person, they didn't remove cannula so i wandered around to find another staff member to do that who happily obliged. Not a major problem but not up to Cleveland usual standards. Staff were all very friendly though, but perhaps clinic shouldn't book in patients at end of day if they can't really handle them properly.

Having been to several medical professionals in my life, I can honestly say the care provided by Dr Katie Cowie is exceptional. She has a great bedside manner, there is no judgement and she is, very knowledgable and understanding. Personably speaking, I would now always consult her on my journey through peri-menopause and beyond. She is well worth the cost for such excellent one to one care. I also see her for weight loss and again, for anyone contemplating medical assisted weight loss, I would always recommend going through someone like Dr Cowie. The assistance she provides with her vast knowledge on the subject is invaluable. I’m so grateful to have met her. and I recommend her to everyone I know going through any women’s health issues.

It’s underneath my chin, lopsided, on top of any tissue, not even near my chin bone, and they refute 2nd opinions I’ve had that there’s anything wrong with this. They also promised me a referral for a CT scan for months but keep deferring. So I’ve had to arrange these scans myself to get proof needed. Made a formal complaint and didn’t even get a written response. Independent adjudication (ISCAS) next then Small Claims. They will not take responsibility for negligence/errors so beware! Please pass on so people are aware - as this needs to be made public

Dr Shaw is extremely pleasant and a great specialist. After having gone through the NHS initially to both an ENT and neurologist I was discharged from the service with little follow up or support and uncertainty as to my exact diagnosis. I continued to suffer from debilaitng symptoms including vertigo attacks and booked an initial consult with Dr Shaw. From the get go I found Dr shaw extremely easy to talk to and he takes the time to explain the potential causes etc and a management plan to treat accordingly. Talking to Dr Shaw has given me hope once again. Very throughough and one of the best drs around for vestibular issues. Would definitely reccomend.

Nick from Physio Jack Studios was really great. I had what I thought was a typical calf strain but all the standard treatments from another physio did not heal it. 4 weeks out from a marathon, I was unable to run 1km without pain. Nick went through a very thorough diagnostic appointment, corrected my diagnosis to an overloading issue at a specific calf/achilles muscle complex and guided me through multiple plyometric exercises and a progressive running plan to allow me to finish the marathon in 3hrs 40mins. Could not recommend him highly enough, super knowledgeable, detailed and passionate 👍

I recently saw Dr Cath for the first time in many years, and was delighted to be able to see her again as my past experience had been so positive. I received excellent care from Mr Challacombe for prostate cancer, diagnosed in 2023. I had a robotic total prostatectomy for a high grade cancer and two and a half years later I remain cancer free, with normal urine continence and satisfactory recovery in erectile function. My follow-up appointments are always on time as scheduled. I highly recommend the professional care provided by Prof Challacombe to any man faced with a diagnosis of prostate cancer.

His technical/medical information was presented in a very straightforward and easy to understand manner. At the end I had no hesitation in asking him to undertake the procedure I needed. Overall experience was good, its just last day after one staff's manners made it all very sour. My impression was staff in question was ready to go hone after her shift and as my lift couldn't come before the end of shif ,she made me feel as I have where to go and makings an excuse for late going home. All sorted with very friendly staff who came on night shift after her. I did staff let know that I will be going home afrer 8 pm.

Simon is both friendly and professional. I spent the last couple of weeks in pain following a hernia op with the NHS and without a long-term plan.
