I was a little concerned because my appointment was delayed due to a problem with the machine but everyone was so kind and comforting. My appointment could have been rearranged for another date but everything was done to ensure my operation went ahead that day. This I very much appreciated because I was really worried about having the procedure. I was very nervous but Dr Ho explained what he was doing and what to expect every step of the way and this helped me to relax. I felt everything before, during and after the operation was explained clearly and fully. Back at home I found all the booklets and other paperwork very easy to follow and so I knew what to expect and what to do. After I had bathed the eye the following day I could already see clearly. After many months of difficulties prompted by the sudden loss of my husband, I can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel. Communication with Kernow Psychiatry has been very responsive and I booked an initial appointment to discuss my mental health difficulties. Dr Reid welcomed me into a comfortable room at the wellness hub, she immediately put me at ease and took care make sure I was settled and ready to start. After the hour, Dr Reid summarised what she saw as the key priorities to getting me back on an even keel, suggesting a clear approach to addressing my intersecting issues. I am looking forward to my follow up appointment and the start of my recovery treatment plan. I only wish I’d followed my instincts sooner and booked in months ago.

The arrangements for my appointment were clear and I was able to park easily. The waiting area was clean and comfortable and staff at every level were kind, helpful and polite. He has been very clear about all issues and risks so that, when I underwent surgery, I was clear about what outcome I might experience. My son had a surgical extraction and the procedure was very calm and relaxed for him. I was able to be there too, so I watched the whole procedure and was very impressed at how clean the procedure was, resulting in a positive experience and successful extraction, ahead of upcoming orthodontic work. Waiting times weren't too long, although for private treatment we had hoped to be seen a little sooner than we were. The practice staff were friendly and very welcoming and high standards were evident throughout, in terms of hygiene and care. My son has no pain and is recovering well.

The waiting area felt like a barricaded corridor that was set up to harvest organs down the back of an alleyway. With the scales about a stretch of an arm away from the tightly seated row of patients looking directly at you, not much was existent of privacy. The room that I went into for pre op observation could be mistaken for the entrance door to a toilet cubicle. Inside was much similar. Repeated knocking from other staff member during your appointment also made the whole thing seem rushed. It didn’t feel like England, let alone Spencer.

I am traveling from the US and was so glad that Dr. Spartera had time to see me. He was very personable and clear in his explanations and obviously very knowledgeable. He was also sensitive to what worries I might have. Since we were traveling, he took the time to coordinate an echocardiogram that same afternoon, and we have scheduled a virtual follow-up. He also wrote a detailed letter that I can show to my doctor back home. I feel that I am getting excellent care and would highly recommend Dr. Spartera.

Mr Ali Abdelwahab made sure I knew what he was talking about. Today's visit, i was waiting just under an hour, which isn't his fault as he has other patients with complex needs, I appreciated him not rushing me off because he may have been behind. I can't fault him one bit. I highly recommend him, he also kept asking me if I had any questions before proceeding on with the appointment. He gave me suggestions so that my injury doesn't come back, which is very much appreciated.

If you are looking for a doctor who will treat your condition, but also explain everything in so much detail, to put you at ease, then Mr Elmiyeh is the right professional to go to! He takes his time to explain your condition, what you need to do about it, and reassures you completely. He won't be in a rush to get you out of the door! Also, he's very welcoming to anyone accompanying the patient, something I've not seen with other doctors!

The only area for improvement is the check-in process - quite often there is a queue of people waiting at reception and the vehicle registration screen is separate to the check-in form, which isn't very efficient. The waiting area and exam rooms are clean and tidy, the staff is friendly and helpful. I prefer coming here despite it being a longer drive than my nearest private hospital because of the great experience I've had previously.

After a frustrating year with an ankle injury sustained playing football, seeing Alex at PSM has been great. Alex provided a detailed analysis of my gait and took a 3D scan of my foot to create orthoses customised to me. He also clearly explained what was going on with my ankle and how it can get better, having done a number of tests to pinpoint the issue. Highly recommend Alex for anyone struggling with a foot-related sports injury.

She was warm, positive, respectful and dealt with my needs very professionally. I was re- assured with the positive measures organised. The blood work was excellently completed. A satisfactory and uplifting experience.
