My first visit was a very positive experience. The clinic was well presented, and I felt comfortable sitting in the waiting area prior to being called in. All staff members were polite, kind, and respectful during every interaction. When I entered the consultation room, I initially felt nervous; however, this quickly melted away as I was put at ease through warm and engaging conversation. I felt treated as a human being, not just a patient. The doctor ensured I was comfortable throughout the consultation and explained everything clearly and thoroughly. I am genuinely pleased with the outcome of the appointment, as I now have a better understanding of what is happening with my body and feel empowered to seek further support to improve my health and wellbeing. Professor William Ayliffe

I accompanied my 98 years old Mother for her appointment with Professor Ayliffe. He reviewed my Mother’s OCT scan and made the decision that she didn’t need an injection at this time and that he would see her again in April to review her condition. He fully explained his rationale for this decision. My Mother has been a patient of Professor Ayliffe since 2018 when he diagnosed her with macular degeneration. During this time, we have been totally satisfied with treatment my Mother has received from Professor Ayliffe. He has always been very caring towards my Mother and has always fully explained any treatment he has given. Both my Mother and I have total confidence in his treatment of her.

My surgery took place there and had to stay overnight due to vertigo and dizziness. The hospital was friendly, new and pristine. The nursing staff outstanding as well as of course the medical team. I had dinner and breakfast and it was also healthy and delicious. Yesterday I returned to have the dressing removed and it was equally good. If any criticism would be to the pharmacy with a 30minute wait to get my prescription and also despite being a Bupa hospital not having the availity to charge Bupa for medication- I am under Bupa Global and in other Bupa hospitals this is the case.

The treatment I received at the Matrix Eye Clinic was excellent from both Mr Guy Smith and his first class team. The results from the cataract operation in both eyes is sensational. My eyesight is significantly improved, the length, the accuracy and the intensity of the colour are all enhanced. I am absolutely delighted. Before I had the operation I was considering exchanging our television for a new model because I was having difficulty in reading small print and the scene was blurred. Now I can enjoy watching. Amazing! I have no hesitation in recommending Matrix Eye Clinic.

I have just had my second appointment with Dr. Rogers regarding a fracture in my left index finger. Something that was very positive about the appointment was the precision and speed in which I was treated. This is something very rare to find when receiving health care - it enabled me to return to school as quickly as possible which I appreciate greatly. What’s more, the way that Dr. Rogers goes about dealing with his ‘clients’ is the perfect blend between professionalism and friendliness.

Mr Sushmith Gowda

Mr Gowda has been very clear in his explanation of what the procedure entailed and the possible outcomes including level of pain possible although luckily I experienced only mild discomfort. His approach is friendly but extremely professional - an excellent bedside manner. He gave enough time for me to ask any questions I might have and was at all times reassuring. I felt confident about my treatment and that he was listening to me. Absolutely no complaints.

Disappointed I had to wait 20 minutes for an appointment first thing in the morning, however everything else was positive. Waiting area and treatment room were both tidy and clean. Staff were friendly and professional. Some additional work required and dentist took me through options for treatment and resulting cost. Dental work was very good and pain free(!). Payment all completed to my satisfaction. Overall, a positive experience

I was referred to see Mr Gleeson as a second opinion after sustaining a ACL rupture and lateral meniscus tear. Mr Gleeson clearly explained my options and the pros/cons of each ensuring I was fully informed. I opted for a surgery which went smoothly and I was in minimal pain during my recovery. I am now 6 months post op and back doing 90% of my previous sporting activities, with a good prognosis for getting back to 100%.

I am very grateful to the staff who kindly cared for me after I had a bad fall in the street. Nikki and Julia were extremely caring and thoughtful and looked after me superbly until they felt I was well enough to leave. The clinic facilities were excellent and it was so generous of them to provide the care without charge.

I had an ultra sound today. I had an excellent experience. The receptionist was very polite and helpful as was the nurse in the ultra sound room. The radiographer who did the ultra sound was very informative and showed me what she was looking at and explained what it showed. I would rate the service 10 out of 10.
