The whole Newmedica process is very impressive. If you find visits to your local hospital depressing, with a thousand corridors and lost souls wandering aimlessly; with long wait times, crumbling buildings and crowded car parks, then you are in for a very pleasant surprise. The staff are incredibly friendly and the procedure is streamlined and well thought through. And the premises are in excellent order with impressive hygiene standards. Everything is immaculately clean. Operationally, whether attending as a private patient or on the NHS, you will receive excellent care. Having never experienced a private/public enterprise before, I have to say I’m impressed. My recommendation? If advised by your doctor or optician that you need eye surgery, then ask to be referred to Newmedica. I realise this revue reads like a publicity handout, but they are GOOD. I had cataract operations on both eyes, which went extremely well. Meanwhile - for a close relative and for different reasons - I have to visit our local hospital on a fairly regular basis. The endless waits, the shuffling of humanity lost in endless corridors, the general poor maintenance of hospital infrastructure… it’s never an uplifting experience. It’s true that you will find good and dedicated staff wherever you go, but some have to perform in adversity, while others don’t. Newmedica is a world apart. Take your pick.

I recently visited 55 Moorgate, Cleveland Clinic London, and had the privilege of being seen by Dr. Maniyar, who is truly an exceptional neurologist. From start to finish, my experience was outstanding. Dr. Maniyar's expertise, professionalism, and compassionate approach made me feel completely at ease and confident in the care I received. He took the time to listen attentively, explain everything clearly, and ensure I felt supported throughout the consultation. The entire team at Cleveland Clinic London, from the front-of-house staff to the clinical team, were equally impressive. Everyone was welcoming, efficient, and highly professional, creating a seamless and stress-free experience. The attention to detail and genuine care provided by the staff made a significant difference in my visit. Cleveland Clinic London at 55 Moorgate is a world-class facility, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Dr. Maniyar and the entire team set the standard for exceptional healthcare. I needed a review of my orthotics, as they were now about two years old. In the last few months, the practice has moved down a floor in the building, resulting in a far airier, far more modern and far more pleasant environment, and it also means that they are finally able to expand the practice, While it’s still a work in progress, the upgrade to the environment is fantastic! What’s not changed is that Hugo and Matt remain the most excellent orthosis techs that I’ve ever dealt with. They are both charming, efficient, attentive to detail and professional. The key advantage of the practice is that they follow the French method of both designing and creating your orthotics while you are there. The result was that s always, I waked out with a remedy for the minor issues that had arisen since my last orthotics were made. They may have been, as Hugo put it, “minor changes”, but they’ve made major improvements to how I stand, how I walk and how I feel. I’d recommend them without hesitation.

Review for Dr. Hill and Kingsbridge North West Hospital I had a fantastic experience at Kingsbridge North West Hospital. Dr. Hill is a phenomenal surgeon — incredibly skilled, friendly, and easy to deal with. He immediately puts you at ease and makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. It’s clear that he’s not only respected by his patients but also by the staff; all the nurses spoke so highly of him, both personally and professionally. They even mentioned that they can always recognize his surgical work by the exceptional standard and care he provides. All of the staff were excellent. Sku checked me in — he was very friendly, professional, and efficient. The whole process ran smoothly, and I was in and out of the clinic within an hour. I highly recommend paying the bit extra to use Kingsbridge — it’s worth every penny for the level of care, professionalism, and peace of mind you receive.

Had appointment for ear wax removal. Arrived at wrong address as was unaware that location had moved, luckily spotted new location across the road. Receptionist was not welcoming and was more interested in arranging diary on computer with her colleague. Was informed during my ear examination that there was inflammation in one of my ears and that report would be emailed to me for my GP, never received report. Audiologist was very pushy on when my last hearing test was and had keep repeating that I just want ear wax removal. I have been coming to Ruislip ear care for many years but none of the staff that day were familiar to me and when booking there was no choice of practitioner. No sign of Jo Jolly or Paul so maybe under new ownership?
