Dr Ahmed was a true godsend after an incredibly difficult chapter in our fertility journey. We met him in October (2024) after having been at another fertility clinic and enduring multiple challenges and failures. From our very first appointment, his thoughtful, compassionate approach instantly put us at ease. He took the time to tailor a treatment plan specifically to our needs (something we hadn’t experienced before) and made regular checks to monitor progress, adjusting as needed. No question ever felt too small; he welcomed every conversation with patience and genuine care. His deep investment in our journey was clear from the start. We immediately understood how it should be/should’ve been. We are very grateful for his guidance on our fertility journey. To our amazement, we became pregnant after just one round of IVF, and only three months after meeting him. Given all we’d been through, we had expected a much longer road ahead. Now, we’re just four months away from meeting our baby girl, and we couldn’t be more grateful or excited! There are no words adequate to express our appreciation for the exceptional care he gave us!

I have been absolutely delighted with Mr Kumar's professionalism & care throughout the entire journey, from initial consultation, through the operation, to final consultation & pathology review. Mr Kumar explained fully what the procedure would or could involve beforehand, ensured he had an up to date MRI scan immediately before the operation, came to see me and reassure me before the operation and very soon after the operation too, was happy for me to stay overnight due to the effects of anaesthesia and saw me again before I left in the morning. I also saw him the week after the operation prior to having a drain removed and a month after the operation for final review & pathology review. I would like to sincerely thank Mr Kumar for his treatment & care, removing a gallbladder which has bothered me for most of my life, and making what could have been a worrying time into quite an enjoyable experience! I have struggled all my life, 55 years not being able to burp with severe pains and awkward gurgling sounds coming from my chest. Mr Hughes diagnosed this as R-CPD or no burp syndrome. I attended hospital which I was a little worried about as I had never been in hospital before never mind had a general anaesthetic. I needn't have worried as Mr Hughes and his team but me at my ease and explained everything. I had the procedure and I left hospital the same day in anticipation of what would happen next. Within a few days I started to burp. It was incredible. Its been 2 months now and the results are excellent. No more pain, no sounds. I can eat and drink what I like without any worries of the aftereffects of trapped gas. Thankyou Mr Hughes and your team for your excellent work in what is truly lifechanging for me.

The way Professor Harji and her team handled my whole experience was exemplary. From diagnosis to treatment there was no area that could have been handled any better. Her explanation of my diagnosis and the treatment required filled me with confidence prior to my surgery, and the post operative care has been fantastic. Despite being discharged 24 hours after surgery, Professor Harji has called me on a daily basis to check on my progress and advise me on any questions I may have had. I would also like to say that after only 7 days since my surgery my recovery rate has been remarkable, apart from a small amount of discomfort and pain from the incisions in my abdomen I feel really good . I would like to say a big thank you to Professor Harji and her whole team for making my whole experience very very comfortable!

I had my suspicions as to what was happening to me. However, going down the general NHS GP route was not getting me anywhere. They kept treating each symptom individually rather than looking at me as a whole. A few years of going backwards and forwards. Stress! With Dr Nikki, within the 30 minute consultation I felt heard, all symptoms were put together and a treatment plan was formed. It all made sense and everything was explained. Medication prescribed and ordered, report received and a report sent to my own GP, all within a few hours. Future follow up already booked. That is what you call professionalism, efficiency and having very knowledgeable doctors who understand the female body. Wish I had booked them sooner. I would highly recommend them.

The doctor was really rude and unprofessional about other members of staff to me. He also didn't check that I'd received appropriate amount of anaesthetic before doing the procedure leaving me in an unacceptable amount of pain for which he didn't apologise or check to see if I was ok. He also tried to do the procedure on the wrong eye and after checking the eye he could see where I'd had a previous procedure and said, "At least I can see you're not lying". I do not want this awful man near me ever again.
