After having ankle replacement surgery on 28/10/2025 which went very well from admission to discharge I returned today 16/12/2025 to have the plaster cast removed and fitted with a moon boot. Mr Blocker explained clearly the reason for my leg length discrepancy Unfortunately a skiing injury earlier in life has created the need for surgery Mr Blocker is a good communicator and inspires confidence I have done my best to stay active, I have worked hard at the physiotherapiy exercises and in the gym . When my hip became seriously painful I was very grateful that I was able to use PIFU to arrange an appointment and give consent at that appointment Surgery was scheduled soon after. Although I was discharged from hospital with stronger medication should I need it I have only taken paracetamol which I was able to reduce and finished taking on the 11th day after surgery

Efficient and professional experience, I am pain free in a much shorter than expected time! I’m an avid runner and dancer and was worried about my recovery following a foot neuroma removal which Mr Singh was going to conduct. He provided candid advice about attitude to recovery and set realistic expectations (that were very reasonable). I was back to dancing within 3-4 weeks of surgery which was priority #1, running is taking a bit longer (which was expected) but Sam gave me full confidence in follow ups that my recovery was going great and I should be back to running soon. I would rate my overall experience 10 out of 10 From the moment I arrived I was treated courteously and professionally. Julia and her assistant treated me with great care and consideration, calmly advising each stage of my treatment and checking I was comfortable and happy to carry on. Dee in reception is a treasure, first appearances are so important to a business, she welcomes you with a cheery "putting one at ease" smile. I had been in quite a lot of discomfort and loss of vision in my left eye. Mr Modi explained what had happened following my lens replacement many years previously. I was nervous as I suffer from closed angle glaucoma and have had many visits to hospital due to raised pressures over the years. I worried that my pressures may raise after the laser treatment. Mr Modi explained the procedure and I felt more at ease. He checked on how I was feeling through the procedure. I was amazed that I could see clearly again within a few hours. My pressures didn’t raise and I have recovered well. I am very grateful to Mr Modi.

Everything went ok but if I had one criticism it would be I felt that the surgical area was very busy and needed more nurses . I was left in my room with no one coming in for quite a long time and although offered a coffee after the procedure I eventually had to ring my bell and a Dr came and brought me a coffee . Luckily I am not a nervous patient but if I had been there wasn’t enough contact with nursing staff . They’d appear and say they were going to do something and then disappear and not come back .
