I recently underwent corrective surgery for an umbilical hernia under the care of Ms Vijay Vardhini, and I could not be more impressed or grateful for the experience and outcome. From the very first consultation, Ms Vardhini demonstrated a level of professionalism, clarity, and reassurance that immediately put me at ease. She explained the procedure in a way that was both informative and easy to understand, answered all of my questions patiently, and ensured I felt fully prepared and confident ahead of the operation. The surgery itself was carried out with exceptional precision and care. My recovery has been smooth, the results are excellent, and the level of discomfort was far lower than I ever expected , a true testament to her skill and expertise. Beyond the surgical excellence, what stood out most was her compassionate approach. At every stage from assessment through to aftercare, Ms Vardhini made me feel at ease and comfortable as I was very nervous about having the operation. I attended Mr Peter's surgery at Spire over 12 months back to discuss hip pain and options. Following xrays and confirmation of osteoarthritis in both, he was extremely helpful and clear as regards my (limited) options for managing the pain or resolving through hip replacement. As someone with 2 young kids and relatively young at 51, I was worried about surgery but his calm and supportive manner convinced me and I felt I would be in very safe hands. I underwent the surgery on my left hip in early August and was fully back on my feet n no time. The support, quality of care and professionalism of Mr Peter (as well as all the staff at Spire) was amazing and I would recommend to anyone suffering similar pain. I'm almost looking forward to going back again for.my right! Thank you again Mr Peter!

The overall experience was excellent. As an NHS patient I felt I waited too long which affected my mental health and mobility, this wait has impacted on my recovery. I would have waited even longer if I hadn’t gone to my GP and asked for my operation to be escalated. The whole process took six months of physio initial NHS xray took a further 5 months to see the consultant then a further 4 and a half months for op. This has been a nightmare. I am however extremely appreciative of my operation and the treatment I have received during my stay at Hoarders. Also on the discharge sheet I was given a number to call for worries and questions once I got home this number was however not answered and my answer phone message was not called back.

I had a very good first visit to Harley Hearing and wish I had known about and visited this practice when I first had hearing problems 25 years ago! Now I feel very grateful to the senior clinician whom I saw. She put me at ease immediately and she understood the problems I had been having with my current hearing aids. She gave me a hearing test and explained clearly to me the reasons for the loss and suggested a maker that would be able to supply a hearing aid which would give me much improved hearing. I trust her judgment and look forward to wearing my new aids. All the staff were friendly and kind and supportive and, having had experience of both NHS and other private audiologists, I can recommend this practice unreservedly.

Mr Jan Marciniak

I met Mr Marciniak when we visited, he put me in a calming situation, more than I could ever imagine. Giving me a clear picture of what was to be expected, including x-rays of my hips. On the day of the operation, Mr Marciniak was so supportive including introducing me to the anaesthetist, who is also pleasant, friendly and supportive. II couldn’t believe how efficient the procedure was done, how good the anaesthetist was with me explaining every step of the way and that I had no pain during the operation, resulting in a very smooth transition. The after care was also performed extremely well with arrangements for physio, x-ray, timely medication and all the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Just had my Post Op appointment with Mikey, where we spoke in depth about my surgical findings following my excision surgery for endometriosis. My entire experience with him and his team has been so incredible with informed consent, empathy, patience and outright skill. My journey has been a really difficult one, as is with many endometriosis patients, and yet not once was I ever triggered or anxious with any aspect of my medical journey with Mr Adamczyk. He's the only surgeon in the UK that I trusted with my case, and I'm so glad I was able to do this. My life is going to be so much better and easier to live, and that is down to him and his team

Mr Roushdi always has time to listen to his patients acting in a caring professional manner. He thoroughly investigate problems and acting together with the patients concerns, carefully plans and fully explains treatment options. Last year I had surgery for base of thumb arthritis and Carpal Tunnel syndrome. This was successful. However 8 weeks later I unfortunately fell and damaged my thumb! It was very reassuring to have Mr Roushdi tell me he could sort this out for me. I’ve now had my mcp joint fused. The result I’m now pain free. The first time for several years.

Initial assessments were thorough and the clinicians were kind and understanding. Prescription costs seem affordable and my first prescribed medications were a slight improvement to before. My second prescription was not approved/provided on time and rationing medications/running out for a few days has caused some stress I had bad withdrawal/negative wellbeing from being requested to stop a previous medication, I feel this was somewhat unavoidable but I was not informed of what to expect stopping that med and left to work out the cause of the feelings on my own

Dr Jawad is an extremely knowledgable and thoughtful doctor. His bedside manner with the children show that not only is he an excellent doctor, he genuinely cares about your child. He always takes the time to explain everything to both the parent and the child and we have been so so pleased to have found him as a doctor. His investigations are very thorough, explanations always clear and informative and he is so personable and friendly with the children. It’s delightful as a parent to see your child so well looked after. So pleased to have found him!

Firstly what a lovely man dr vani is , so positive and caring . When I came to see dr vani I couldn’t have been in a lower point and was desperate for help. He urgently dealt with my situation and gave me hope when I didn’t feel like I had any . He was fantastic and aftercare he gave was totally different to everything I had been told before . It’s been a slow difficult recovery but I have now been discharged . If you have gastrointestinal issues there is nobody better . And as doctor vani said as I left “ if you ever need me I will be here “

This was the clearest medical consultation I have ever had. Dr Whitaker’s grasp and balance, his clear and detailed explanations and his kindness and honesty were simply outstanding. We were welcomed nicely. Offered a lovely selection of drinks by the friendly reception staff and then saw our wonderful Dr Jawad who is just so kind, caring, thoughtful and knowledgable.
