20/10 I was recommended to Dr Alek by multiple friends, including one who is a doctor herself and trained under him. He came highly, highly recommended and is known as the best in the business — and I can completely understand why. From the moment I walked into the practice, I was warmly greeted by Sam, the practice administrator. She was friendly, welcoming, and made me feel right at home. Thank you, Sam! I’ve seen many aesthetic doctors and practitioners before, and Dr Alek is by far the best I’ve ever experienced. Previously, consultations felt rushed — numbing cream applied, a quick question about what I wanted, and straight into the procedure. With Dr Alek, it was completely different. We began with a thorough consultation where we discussed my concerns, the procedures I was interested in, and everything I’ve previously had done — including where, when, and any medications I’m on. He then did a full facial assessment, looking at proportions, symmetry, and structure. He carefully felt for any existing filler or lumps, explained what they were, and clearly walked me through what we can and can’t do moving forward. Everything was explained in a way that was detailed yet easy to understand. We created a thoughtful plan of action together, and what stood out most was that he never once tried to “sell” me on anything — something I’ve experienced with every other practitioner before. It’s immediately clear that he truly cares about his patients, has an incredible passion for what he does, and an exceptional eye for detail. He really knows his craft. Today we did Botox, and it was genuinely pain-free. He is precise, intentional, and incredibly gentle. As soon as I left, I couldn’t wait to call my husband and tell him how amazing the experience was. I’ve now officially joined my group of friends who cannot recommend Dr Alek highly enough. Mr Ashok Mohanty

I was very impressed with the care and attention I received from Mr Mohanty. Not only did he check on me after my procedure, but he phoned the next day and then came in later that evening, even though it was his day off. Initially, after my procedure, I had a catheter fitted. However, when they removed it, I encountered difficulties passing urine. Mr. Mohanty allowed me to go home with a catheter fitted and arranged to see me in his clinic the following day. About 10.00 that next day, Mr Mohanty phoned me to check that I had all the information I needed to attend his clinic (as he hadn’t been on site when I was discharged) and was very welcoming upon my arrival. This appointment went as he had explained and I left hospital without a catheter a few hours later. Since my procedure, I have been very amazed at the level of care and professionalism Mr. Mohanty has shown to me - he has phoned a number of times to check on my recovery and shown interest in me as a person, remembering some key facts about my life. He is an excellent practitioner and I am grateful for what he has done.

I have now been to all three locations (I had Hernia surgery 4 weeks ago at their Grosvenor Street hospital) and have been very impressed. The clinics are very clean and more akin to a hotel than a hospital. My issue was a bad back and painful sciatica. I was seen about 15 mins after my appointment time, but that's to be expected these days and it wasn't a problem. I was seen by Mr Montgomery who was very efficient and he gave my back a thorough examination. He said I needed an MRI and I was dreading having to wait days as I had really struggled to get to the clinic due to my injury. However, to my amazement, they managed to arrange for me to have the MRI there and then. I was looked after my Ibrahim who was first class. What a nice guy, very friendly and engaging. Made me very comfortable and talked me through the process. The MRI took about 20 mins I guess and then we made an appointment for me to speak to Mr Montgomery 2 days later on a video call to go through the results of the MRI. Overall, another very good experience.

From my initial appointment to my final visit, my experience with Mr Panose, at North Downs hospital was absolutely outstanding. From his bedside manner to his professional care and attention to detail with his explanations, put my mind instantly at rest that I was definitely in the best possible hands for a pain free and positive outcome. Dr Panose took his time to explain the full hip replacement procedure, along with the pros and cons of the difference materials he uses. My operation was booked in within 2 weeks from my initial appointment. I was instantly pain free after my full hip replacement. On the morning of my surgery he came to my suite to check I was ok, then came back at the end of the day to check in with me again. At my follow up appointment he was very pleased with how the operation went, showed me my updated X-rays, assured me I was good to go, but did advise me if I have any issues in the future to contact him. Such a wonderfully kind, professional Doctor.

I had penis filler and it was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made. I had the filler on the Monday and by Wednesday I was in a&e with a very balloon swollen penis and had to have catheter inserted in my penis for 5 days. I was then rushed for emergency surgery the next morning to remove the filler and infection at the injection site. I was in hospital and 5 days and I’m now under a nhs urologist because the urologist at Moorgate cancelled the video call because he said it was unwell. Once they have your money your on your own and the chances of compilations are a lot higher than what they claim. The office I had my filler was not sterilised and moor like someone’s living room. Once if fully recovered I find out if it’s caused and permanent damage I will be looking to start a medical neglect claim against Moorgate. PLEASE if your thinking about having this done seriously I would re consider. Just use an extender/pump.

My visit was entirely satisfactory. The staff were exceptionally friendly at all times and they seem to meet a lot of them. I was getting informed about what was going to happen to me at all times. The menu was amazing and the whole place seem to be extremely efficiently run My only comment of an adverse nature would be that having been shown to a room on my arrival where my wife carefully unpacked all my belongings she she know sooner had left Than. I had to pack them all up again because I was being transferred to another room and then when I came out of the operating theatre before I went home, I had to wait three hours before I managed to get my belongings back again no book to read or iPad slightly frustrating but that was the only hiccup on an excellent visit.

My experience of the hospital was very good. The staff were amazing especially Jayne on Day surgery and David at the ward at night. The only downside that came to my attention is being told that there was no lactose free milk for my tea. The lady, I did catch her name, told me that she wasn’t aware of my overnight stay. She asked me if I was aware that I was staying overnight and I replied ‘yes’. She then went on to ask if I had put it in my forms prior to attending and I said yes. She kept on going on it wasn’t her fault she had been told. A bit of advice would be that she overshared. She clearly sorted the problem as the following morning someone had picked up the milk and I had it with my tea.

I have been visiting Dr Kathryn for several years now. She is absolutely fantastic so calming & understands exactly what you are trying to achieve. I have recently had several small moles/skin tags removed from my face & would highly recommend. The procedure was completed so quickly & virtually pain free. The final results are just amazing & I felt calm & relaxed throughout. The salon is beautiful & spotlessly clean. I have never felt rushed & Dr Kathryn takes her time to listen to you. Above all else she is a really lovely professional expert & I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my treatments.

1)I found the signage to the main lifts and to Lyndhurst rooms confusing. There should be signage in the ground floor lift lobby saying which departments are on which floor. I have been complaining about this since 1971. 2)The excellent group portrait of the Royal Free consultants in about 1970 which used to be on the ground floor but has now been removed to the 12th Floor no longer has the key saying who they are. This is a digrace and an insult to the memory of a fine group of men (and about ten women), The key should be found and reinstated immediately.

I went to Dr. Nijjer as I had some symptoms I was unsure of, having recently done sinus surgery, whether they are cardiac or sinus, to make sure I was fit for my forthcoming skiing trip. Dr. Nijjer, as always, took the tome to listen to my concerns and provided me his rational expert opinion, as he always does whenever I visit him. He also ensured my GP practice provide me with the most optimal medication for which I am really grateful, as it took convincing from Dr. Nijjer for my GP to provide me with a repeat prescription for that medication.
