I recently underwent an extended abdominoplasty, mastopexy, and breast augmentation. The entire experience was amazing from start to finish. Mr Fitzgerald O’Connor, Dr Neel (the anaesthetist), and the entire team were incredible including those at St Thomas’. Having never had surgery before let alone a major operation, I felt completely reassured throughout the whole process. I had full confidence in the surgical outcome and never once felt nervous in regards to my results which speaks volumes about Ed’s approach to treatment. After losing a significant amount of weight, I spent years considering post weight loss surgery and I am beyond grateful that I chose Ed to perform my procedures. My results are truly life changing in every sense. For the first time in my life, I look in the mirror and genuinely love what my body looks like which I didn’t think was even possible. This has had an amazing impact on my self confidence. Even my scars have already healed impeccably and are placed so well. I have absolutely no regrets and would wholeheartedly encourage anyone considering post weight loss surgery to seek treatment with Mr Fitzgerald O’Connor. He is exceptional!!!!

Every time I come for an outpatient appt, the specialist is an hour behind time.. the secretary/receptionist should have called ahead of time to expect delays but they don’t!! They leave it till the time of the appt to mention the hefty delay!! Last time I had to leave as I could not wait out an hr delay! So complete waste of my time & money grrr! Something that could easily be rectified with better communication from the clinic!! Including the fact when I had an outpatient procedure, I had a 2.45hrs delay as there was a delay due to an emergency in the morning.. again no contact from the clinic informing me of this delay.. had I been informed earlier before arriving at my appt which was scheduled at 1pm, I didn’t not have the procedure till 3.45!! Had there been communication from your clinic informing me of the delay I would have left home later and not have left the dogs alone for 8hrs due to the clinics inability to keep patients informed of delays!! Grrr! Every single time due to lack of communication I’m left frustrated and angry!

I was struck by Dr Hawkes attention to detail. The sutures were so exquisite that after 5 months a fellow plastic surgeon from across the desk could not see I had any work done. One thing to note is the limit of surgery on the day, I was the only one that day to be operated on as Dr Hawkes will only operate on a maximum number of 'eyes' ...... It so happened that the surgeon in the next theatre did seven patients (yes seven!). I was also reassured that given the post procedure settlement (upper and lower) Dr Hawkes asked to see me after 6 months........ Needless to say after six months I could not be happier with the result on both eyes, age appropriate (as asked for) with exquisite detail and in the words of my granddaughter 'they are beautiful'.... I will leave you with an amusing anecdote.....on the morning of the operation I asked for Dr Hawkes to hold her arm out just for fun and you know what it did not flinch .... steady as a rock.... a great result from a lovely lady... thanks again Elizabeth....

Overall this was a good experience, I had a combined assessment via NHS right to choose. I liked that I was seen in person for this. The wait times were much longer than initially expected however I believe there was a huge influx of patients at the same time that I was referred. The assessments themselves were good with understanding and knowledgeable assessors. The report which I have received is in depth although I did think there may be a professionals insight into the early developmental questionnaire whereas it is just copied into the report. I had a few queries about the report which I am waiting on the answer to and also have asked for it to be sent to my GP which hasn't been done yet but again, this is the lacking wait times. Apart from the wait times, the service was great and I am thankful for their help. I think my referral was made in March 2025 and I am writing this review in December 2025.

I recently underwent a hernia repair performed by Mr Keeling, and I am very happy with the care I received. From the beginning, he offered clear explanations about the procedure, what to expect, and the recovery process. His manner was reassuring and professional, which helped me feel confident and at ease. During my consultations, Mr Keeling took the time to answer my questions thoroughly and made sure I understood each step. On the day of surgery, his calm and approachable attitude gave me great reassurance. My recovery has gone smoothly, and I feel that this is a reflection of both his surgical skill and the clear guidance he provided. I am grateful for his expertise and the way he communicated with me throughout the process. Overall: I would highly recommend Mr Keeling. He combined excellent surgical care with clear, patient‑focused communication, which made a big difference to my experience.

I was overwhelmed by surprise that Dr Kelly was able to clear up my ear infections , which I had in both ears for 22monthsin one visit!. Considering I had nine previous visits with another consultant at Kingsbridge hospital outpatients without success after the 9visits the consultant referred me to Dr Andrew Kelly.After 22months I was in the depth of despair as my hearing was deeply affected by the infections and my audiologist struggled to try and improve my hearing by adjusting the aid , my left ear by the way I gave up wearing at the start of my infections as I have a 90% hearing loss in that ear, so I completely dependent on the hearing aid in the right ear. I am completely indebted to Dr Kelly for helping me get over these infections , which blighted my life.

The toilets were yet again filthy. For the second time I complained. I appreciate that nothing will change, but I discussed not only with the nurse, but also with front desk that the hygiene level was very low indeed. In a private facility this is a disgrace. Further, I found that any details given on a prior visit had not updated onto the current registration form. While I came in after 6.30 pm, i have seen the awful queues for registration at earlier times. Your reception person was on his own and was also on his own on the prior visit, and the paperwork took far too long. You need more than one person on the front desk. Overall, the clinic is poor.

Elsewhere I was informed that the I would require dye in my eye which would impair driving etc for a few hours, however, this was not necessary due to leading technology at Dr Sheeraz’s practice. Dr Sheeraz talked me through the findings and was able to put me at immediate ease. Highly recommended!
