Dr Duncan is a lovely person who clearly loves what he does, which alongside his incredible expertise and experience, provides such comfort. His team and particularly Colette are also so wonderful and go above and beyond to help with any requests. I had a very swift and pretty much pain- free recovery from my Caesarean and the healing of my scar has far exceeded even my most optimistic expectations, which is no doubt due to the expert hands and the great care Keith took during the op. We would not hesitate to sincerely recommend to anyone and hope to go through this journey again with Keith and his team.

Mr Lobo's professionalism, skill and experience were evident from the outset of my consultation with him regarding cataract removal with a history of uveitis. Mr Lobo's manner was reassuring and above all he made sure I understood the details of the procedure and the selection of a replacement lens. His communication pre and post op was excellent and I particularly appreciated his prompt reply to emails. The operation itself was painless and Mr Lobo and his team made sure I was comfortable and informed throughout. I’ve had the TURP operation and felt extremely well looked after for the whole process. I am very pleased with the whole procedure, thank you. The only small gripe is that neither me or my wife can remember being told I would need two weeks off, after the operation, or that I shouldn’t lift anything particularly heavy for 4 to 6 weeks after. This felt a bit embarrassing to have to then tell my employers. Although I am extremely glad I have these two weeks to recover. Other than that, lots of information emailed to us and we felt thoroughly looked after throughout the whole process. Thanks again

My daughter has had cataract surgery on both eyes on the 21st January 2026 everything went according to what we were told the whole surgery went well she was very pleased with the procedure. I would just like to say Marie who was her nurse was brilliant, she was very caring, put my daughter at ease all the time, she was there all the time and answered all the questions we had and was always available on the phone . Overall the experience was excellent, with one frustrating aspect - initially I was told that my surgery would be at 15:00, and that I should attend the hospital at 13:00. A couple of days before the surgery, I was told that the surgery time had changed to 14:15 and I should attend at 12:15. I did so, and was then kept waiting for over an hour in the lobby as the room was not ready - giving the impression that it was unnecessary for us to have come early. A little frustrating, however the staff were incredibly friendly and kind.

My experience was fantastic, so much better than I could have hoped for. I had zero pain, zero swelling, zero bruising. My recovery has been very easy and I'm now walking all short journeys without crutches (after 6 weeks). I would recommend Mr Johan Witt 100% to anyone who needs a total hip replacement. Not alone is he an amazing surgeon but he has a calm, reassuring manner and an ability to communicate in simple language what the surgery will involve.

Mr Akram really knows both the technology and also the human factors and patiently and explicitly introduced me to my first hearing aids. These are working wonderfully from the very first wearing. I returned for a custom program for singing in choir. This too was very effective. I could not recommend Pindrop and Mr Akram more highly! It’s a bit traumatic to discover one needs hearing aids but the process is painless and the benefits are immediate.

I have just got home from having my ears cleaned out by Toby, i slways enjoy my visits to have the treatment, Toby is very gentle and caring and I would recommend Meadows and Wood to anyone with wax ptoblems and hearing aid care - my son visits Worle and two friends go to Portishead also on my recommendation - I have been looked after for about 3 years now and am very happy with the service.

The Doctor spent time listening and acknowledged the struggles my son is experiencing! He was sympathetic and helped him enormously. Medication was discussed and explained fully. We left with a feeling of relief that we now had a plan moving forward. He will review my son in a few weeks and adjust medication as required. I feel very fortunate to be receiving care from The Royal Marsden at Sutton. Being treated at a specialist hospital focused solely on cancer is a very different experience from other NHS hospitals. All staff are incredibly caring, supportive, and excellent in their roles. Despite the longer journey from Kent, I feel it is absolutely worth it to receive such outstanding care.

The doctors and nurses were very helpful on the day of surgery and were extremely friendly, helping to settle my nerves beforehand. They also had me practice using crutches, including going up and down stairs, to make sure I was capable of getting around during the two weeks I was non-weight-bearing.
