Excellent. I am currently undergoing IVF treatment with Professor Yacoub Khalaf at Guys Hospital in London. A few days ago Prof. Khalaf successfully collected 3 eggs, which I am very happy about. So far I am very impressed and completely satisfied with the high quality of medical care at the IVF clinic at Guys Hospital directed by Prof. Khalif. Previously I have undergone IVF treatments at one NHS and two private clinics in London, and I can confidently say that the integrity, honesty and personal care I have received from Prof Khalaf is exceptional, and well beyond that of the other clinics. The staff is well trained, and the process has been very efficient and easy. Unlike the other clinics they have not prescribed unnecessary medication or unnecessary scans. As a result the experience at Guys has been less emotionally and physically intrusive. My husband and I can recommend Prof Khalaf very highly.

Prof East is extremely competent, understanding and caring. He is a problem solver. I went to him, having been let down 3 times over 4 months by 2 A&E depts and a GP. Because I take medication for acid reflux, they each wrote off my severe symptoms as gastroenteritis - because of their 'tunnel vision' they failed to care out a simple ultrasound scan. Feeling desperate and in pain I went to see Prof East privately. He listened and conducted tests,, including ultrasound scans. As a result he referred me to the appropriate surgeon for Urgent surgery. The negligence of the NHS allowed my condition to worsen and had become life threatening. In effect Prof East saved my life..

I have now met Panos several times; on an outpatient basis prior and post my total hip replacement procedure and, of course, during the latter. He is charming, energetic, and conveys a reassuring aura of complete professional competence and capability. The fact that he also practices the anterior entry, minimally invasive hip replacement procedure is testament to that and, clearly, a significant advantage over conventional approaches. I have complete faith in his expertise and am now looking forward to reaping the physical and associated mental benefits of the results of his capabilities. I would unhesitatingly recommend him to anyone with a problematic hip!

I recently had surgery at Spire Leicester Hospital. The medical staff were amazing, friendly, informative and they really helped put me at ease throughout my stay. However, the administrative side needs be improved, as it took several weeks of chasing before I finally received my booking confirmation. Additionally, after my large open inguinal hernia operation, I was discharged without being offered a wheelchair and had to walk down from the second floor to leave the hospital, which was difficult so soon after surgery. Overall, excellent clinical care, but room for improvement in administration and patient support on discharge.

I have seen Mr Mohamed on two occasions recently and in both cases the appointments were on time, courteous and friendly. Mr Mohamed reviewed my extensive medical history in detail, asked appropriate questions, recommended the next steps and, with my agreement, drew up the appropriate paperwork. The procedures were organised, performed within a few days and a follow up appointment was arranged where the results & ongoing recommendations were discussed. All of this took place over a period of ten days, without doubt one of the best medical experiences I’ve had in my 81 years.

I visited Mr Natt this week after experiencing tightness in my throat. He took the time to ask thorough questions to understand the issue and carried out a nasal endoscopy to investigate further. Throughout the procedure, he explained everything clearly, checked that I was comfortable, and showed genuine concern for my wellbeing. When the issue became visible on the screen, he carefully explained what was happening in a way that put my mind at ease. Mr Natt was kind, professional, and attentive from start to finish. I felt very well cared for and would highly recommend him.

He operates efficiently and is always on time. My skin lesions were examined and treated on the spot during the same session today. I received information about the nature and cause of my problem and was given instruction about how to look after the problem area until it is fully healed. I was charged as quoted when I booked the appointment.. Highly recommended service.

I could wax lyrical about Professor John Axford. Before my recent visit, my GP’s had misdiagnosed/mishandled my condition. I was in pain. Not only does Professor Axford have a wonderfully kind way about him but his experience and knowledge meant that, after a brief examination and talking to me, he knew exactly what I was suffering from and how to treat it. He put my mind at ease, explained everything clearly and kindly, and I am already on the path to pain free fitness. I could not recommend him more highly.

Overall an efficient and excellent course of treatment. Because I have hearing loss occasionally hearing explanations was challenging.. The first time I have had a urethral catheter. Looking at the catheter passport information it recommends a catheter securement device similar to a Velcro strap. Unfortunately I was offered no such device and had difficulties with the tubing since it extended almost as far as my knee cap. Using plasters etc was not helpful since it had to be removed when urinating.

The Staff were amazing, sadly I had bloods and collapsed, Margaret and her team was brilliant and got me back to normal. I can't remember all the details but I know they was very worried about me and jumped into action very quickly. They didn't let me go till I was better. Overall I got what I needed which is all that matters ultimately. Found it annoying to have to fill in yet another paper form when I’d registered online as requested via email the day before. Yet another different NHS portal - the third I have had to sign up to. Was also not happy to be asked for a credit card when I was there as a fully insured patient. I was told it was ‘policy’ but when I said I’d rather not it no longer seemed to be policy.

My named nurse Stacey was super. All of the nurses were very responsive and pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble. Veetu one of the care assistants was so kind to me helping me to shiwere sfter the op. The pirters were lovely. The foid was decent and well presented. Coffee was served on a tray with a doyley. Overall I felt like I had experienced proper care, not just another number in a queue.
