My experience at the Fitzrovia private maternity suite at UCLH was exceptional from start to finish. The room's were spotlessly clean, comfortable, and calm - exactly what you hope for during such an important emotional time. The food was genuinely excellent, with a great variety of choices, which made a real difference during recovery and long days on the ward. Most importantly, the staff were absolutely amazing. From the midwives and healthcare assistance to the catering team, every single person was kind, caring and professional. The midwives were extremely knowledgeable and always on hand to support and reassure, no matter the time of day. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. What truly stood out was the continuity of care even after discharge. The midwives remained available to support me with breastfeeding and post cesarean aftercare, which was invaluable and made me feel supported well beyond my stay. I cannot fault the Fitzrovia private maternity suite at UCLH. The standard of care, compassion, and attention to detail where outstanding, and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering private maternity to care.

I recently had private surgery with Mr Penney and had a really positive experience. I can be quite anxious around medical procedures, appointments etc. but I felt listened to, supported, and treated with genuine care and respect. Mr Penney was friendly, professional and took the time to explain everything clearly and calmly, which helped put me at ease despite my anxiety. I felt reassured and never rushed, and any questions or concerns I had were addressed thoroughly. All of the hospital staff who supported me during my stay were absolutely lovely. Everyone was kind, patient, and reassuring, which made what I find very stressful feel much more manageable and positive. The standard of care before, during, and after the surgery was excellent. I felt very well looked after and supported throughout, and I'm extremely grateful for the care I received.

Mr Bilal Al-Obaidi

I had a hip replacement at The Circle Hospital on 2nd August 2025, performed by Mr Bilal Al‑Obaidi. Mr Al-Obaidi is a true gentleman - kind, empathetic, and incredibly reassuring. Before the operation, he took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and ensured I felt fully informed and completely at ease. Throughout my stay, I felt genuinely cared for at every stage. The surgery itself went extremely well, and my recovery has been excellent. Mr Al-Obaidi is clearly held in very high regard by staff across all departments, which speaks volumes about him as both a surgeon and a person. I feel very fortunate to have had him as my consultant and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone considering a hip replacement.

Ms Labidi was a lovely doctor who operated on my foot and resolved my problem by removing an object with the callous, I had been suffering in a lot of pain for a year and a half before this since since something had got into my foot, even after the anaesthetic had worn off after the operation I had absolutely no pain whatsoever, and my foot has healed in just 1 week and have had no pain since I would like to thank Dr Labidi and Allison and all of the lovely and kind staff who looked after me at Solihull hospital, I am so grateful , many many thanks x

Mr Nita explained everything and options I had. I had tests and trials with walking aids to determine best option for me explaining both pros and cons I opted for long leg osteotomy which gave me option to have knee replacement later in life. I am 12 weeks post operation and i’m walking unaided and I am using no pain killers. I do realise I do have lot of recovery to get 100%. I cannot thank Mr Nita enough, his professional and skills have changed my mobility, without the pain that I used to endure

He is extremely knowledgeable and professional, and his belief in treating illness holistically benefitted me significantly. He is generous with his time and replied to my call late in the evening, even at after a long day of operating. After my operation he visited me regularly - more than any other consultant has done. I really appreciated this. I am very grateful to him.

I visited the clinic today with my elderly mother who is experiencing a number of health concerns. Dr Oates was kind professional and extremely thorough during the consultation. He made my mum feel very comfortable and explained everything very well. We now have a plan in place to move forward and feel more positive. The hygienist felt as though they were trying to sell additional products and if I hadn’t asked the right questions I’d have been caught out, just like someone who was paying in front of me was. The Saturday receptionist was friendly and helpful The weekday receptionist was a little abrupt and less customer service oriented
