He fast-tracked seeing us, was calm, reassuring, and immediately inspired confidence. He listened carefully — not just to the clinical facts, but to us as people — and set out a clear, structured plan at a time when everything felt overwhelming. His manner with both me and my partner was outstanding; thoughtful, compassionate, and quietly authoritative. My cancer was aggressive and required surgery to ensure a cure. Throughout the process, Professor Vasdev was completely transparent without ever being alarmist. He fought hard to preserve both my continence and sexual function, and went the extra mile during surgery to maintain the nerve structures wherever safely possible. That level of care and skill has made an enormous difference to my recovery and quality of life. What truly set him apart was the way he managed the entire journey end-to-end. He coordinated all referrals — oncology, fertility, and beyond — and delivered what can only be described as a fully managed service. He recognised that we were in shock and removed complexity at every step, allowing us to focus on getting through it. Without underplaying the seriousness of having cancer, the speed, efficiency, and excellence of my treatment — and the rapidity of my recovery — has made the whole experience feel almost like a non-event. I know how fortunate I am that this was caught early and handled so exceptionally well. We will always be deeply grateful to Professor Nikhil Vasdev. His skill, leadership, and humanity have had a profound impact on our lives, and we remain indebted to him.

I had been experiencing symptoms for more than six months and decided to go private when my NHS referral was postponed a second time. I was nervous beforehand, but Dr Gratwicke was very reassuring. He gave me time to explain my symptoms and listened carefully. He took into account my family medical history and carried out an examination with a chaperone present. I did not feel rushed or that my symptoms were being dismissed. He recommended two scans and clearly explained the purpose of each. His report of my initial consultation came through in less than a week and was detailed and accurate. Once the scans were done, I was able to see Dr Gratwicke soon after to get my results. Again, he explained everything clearly and gave me a good understanding of what was causing my symptoms. The MRI had flagged something else as well, which required me to contact Dr Gratwicke through his admin team after the appointment. He responded to the additional information I sent through the very next day, again putting my mind at rest. Dr Gratwicke is calm, reassuring and extremely efficient in terms of organising referrals and reporting results. I am very grateful to him for his time and expertise.

Zachary the audiologist was new to me, but every bit as likeable, knowledgable and engaged as every other audiologist I've had the pleasure to consult with at Harley St Hearing. He really listened to, and answered clearly and thoroughly to every question. He found a less mainstream solution ("Frequency Lowering or compression "), to a nuanced hearing issue I have, which he suggested we tried, and delighted to say it worked extremely well in my case. I can't recommend this practice enough!

I spent 3 days at the Royal Free PPU as an in-patient following major surgery and I have nothing but praise for the treatment I recieved from start to finish. My surgery was scheduled speedily, the operation went as well as hoped, and all of the PPU team members who took care of me - Consultants, Doctors, Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and Housekeeping - were professional but at the same time, kind and reassuring. I was really anxious about the surgery and for me, the care that I received as an in-patient, made the whole experience so much less stressful.

Okay, then play’ 30-60 mins between slots to allow for adequate timing. I had to get out of work and work the extra time that had I been offered the actual appointment time I wouldn’t have had to do that. Change your gynaecologist appointments calendar please

I decided to visit IGP in Cardiff for a flu jab. Appointment was arranged very quickly by very friendly team member. I arrived today and was given of a warm welcome. My flu jab was administered by a highly experienced nurse called Helen who was very friendly and reassuring. I remained at the practice for 10 minutes to ensure I was okay and the then left the practice. All in All a five star experience!

Initial consultation with Ms Moon to hopefully diagnose and later treat the pain in my left hand. She examined me, read an existing X-ray report and identified two possible causes. She wants an Ultrasound scan to help with diagnosis. Saw Dr James Thing and must say the experience start to finish was excellent, pinpointed problem areas and carried out scan and targeted areas that were problem and treated, now no longer need splin or pain relief. So much more movement in knees too. Would highly recommend.
