I had a very positive experience at Spire Shawfair Park Hospital. From the moment I arrived, the reception staff were welcoming, efficient, and extremely helpful, making the check‑in process smooth and stress‑free. The hospital itself was immaculate throughout, with clean, modern facilities that created a reassuring and comfortable atmosphere. The layout of the building is thoughtful and spacious, with plenty of room in both the reception and waiting areas, ensuring a calm environment while waiting for my consultation. I never felt crowded or rushed. My consultation took place in a well‑equipped room with high‑quality medical facilities, which further added to my confidence in the care I was receiving. Overall, the combination of cleanliness, efficiency, professional staff, and excellent facilities made my visit exceptionally positive. I have been so pleased with my experience of surgery by Dr Shilen Patel. At the first consultation he explained very clearly and in detail what my operation would entail and the possible risks, but without scaring me. This gave me a lot of confidence for the day of the operation, and the surgery went very well. When dressings were removed 10 days after my operation I was really surprised to see how neat the wound was, and it was healing nicely. I had very little pain, and Mr Patel explained to me at my follow up appointment that the tumour had been removed fully without rupturing, so there is very little chance of it returning. He had also explained how they had worked to ensure they did not damage a nearby nerve which I had been so relieved about. In conclusion, I was very pleased with the overall treatment received and with the care and respect I was shown. Thank you.

I recently had surgery on my right hand middle finger to remove a blood vessel malformation, and I couldn’t be happier with the care and results I received from Dr Lawton. From the outset, he was incredibly calm and reassuring, which immediately put me at ease. The procedure was clearly explained and it was obvious that a great deal of thought and planning had gone into it. The surgery itself was meticulously performed, and my recovery has been excellent so far. Any questions I had were answered thoroughly, whether they felt silly or not, which made the whole experience even more reassuring. I felt completely confident throughout the entire process and very well looked after. I am extremely grateful for his skill, professionalism and manner, and would highly recommend him to anyone needing similar treatment.

I was recommend by a local GP where I work to use Enhanced care, reason being is that for over two weeks I could not get into my own Totton GP surgery, calling and being way down the queuing order, I even went in to book an appointment and they said I have to call first thing, both local Pharmacies could do no more other than OTC meds and said you have to see your GP, I very quickly lost faith in my own doctor surgery. Thanks to Enhanced care from the initial online email to phone call, seeing the doctor all on the same day was well worth it, not only did the doctor ask about my current symptoms but also about my general heath and past issues ETC, medication same day and was feeling better within 4 days, highly recommend If your own GP surgery cant help sooner. My visit was entirely satisfactory. The staff were exceptionally friendly at all times and they seem to meet a lot of them. I was getting informed about what was going to happen to me at all times. The menu was amazing and the whole place seem to be extremely efficiently run My only comment of an adverse nature would be that having been shown to a room on my arrival where my wife carefully unpacked all my belongings she she know sooner had left Than. I had to pack them all up again because I was being transferred to another room and then when I came out of the operating theatre before I went home, I had to wait three hours before I managed to get my belongings back again no book to read or iPad slightly frustrating but that was the only hiccup on an excellent visit.

I visited for an US abdominal and internal after NHS scan could not find my ovaries due and I was very anxious to find out if theses were causing my pain. I was fortunately referred by my GP quickly and seen the following day. The experience was totally different to the NHS one. My questions were answered rather than the NHS “you will need to speak with your doctor “ response to every question. The consultant Christina spent time to get the necessary images and did advise further scans to eliminate any issues with bowel/colon. The whole experience was very comfortable and I did not feel like I was being a nuisance by asking questions about my body!! Thank you so much. It was ++ reassuring and did also identify a condition which I may have causing the pain.

I was an online client. My first day and many following days, a laptop was placed somewhere (usually with a very minimal view of part of the room) whilst people in the room had a conversation (often it was staff as other patients had left the room/ spent a lot of time waiting for groups to start/ group leaders). Group timings etc weren't stuck to or structured and there seemed no consistency. The hardest part was having to have an 'assessment' i.e. go through my life background in detail (including trauma) a total of 5 times with different members of staff. I'm sorry to say (and likely it's different in person) but there didn't seem to be any genuine care whatsoever. It was a waste of time for me attending here sadly.
