I went to see Adam Goode in March 2025 after fully rupturing my left ACL skiing 3 months before. I'd been doing some prehab before I came to Pure Sport and it was trying to decide whether I need to have surgery or not. As my knee felt fairly stable it was agreed we'd progress with Rehab and see how far we can get. I didn't really want surgery as a second massive trauma to my knee. the consultant review had also suggested there is no need to rush into surgery. Adam has been fantastic in supporting my recovery, providing exercises, guidance, support and encouragement, reviews and feedback, answering my questions. Fast forward to March 26 and I've effectively got sign off. May 26, I managed to get back to the indoor slope. My brain still has PTSD but my knee felt good and stable. Would certainly recommend Adam and Pure Sports who have guided me through this journey of recovery.

I started with extreme stiffness and pain in my lower back affecting my daily life especially for the first few hours of the day. I couldn't get out of bed easily nor get dressed. I found it hard to bend forward to get dressed, pick anything up, hoover etc. Sitting was uncomfortable. After being taught to use breathing techniques together with some stretches and learning to destress myself and let my body relax, I have seen a vast improvement. I anticipate carrying on with the techniques learnt and hopefully fully lose any stiffness. I can now get out of bed and get on with things that would normally have been a problem. If I start to feel the stiffness and pain I take a moment to remind myself to breathe properly and relax.

It was my second time visiting the private care at Western Eye to attend my appointment with Dr.Tariq regarding my chalazion removal. Dr.Tariq gave me very clear and helpful advice on the treatment and recovery plan. This time the procedure was a bit harder than last time as I perceived, but it was still successful and Dr. Tariq helped to remove the chalazion as much as possible. I’m still recovering these days but really appreciate the whole process.
